“Lexy was amazing! She communicates very well and quickly, and it was easy to schedule a first meet and greet. We originally booked for a few months out, but had some unexpected travel come up earlier, and thankfully, she was still able to squeeze us in. She sent us photos and updates every drop-in and our pups seem to really like her. She even added water to my hydrogarden when it started making weird noises because I forgot to check it before we left. Overall, she went above and beyond, and we are so lucky to have found Lexy as a sitter. 100% would recommend working with Lexy if you need a drop in sitter :)”

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life and strive to be an exemplary caretaker for them. About: I recently relocated from Johnstown to McKeesport and am looking forward to meeting all the new pups in the area! I have been dog sitting for the past few years now and absolutely love it! My family has always had dogs since I can remember. I got my first dog, Ruby, named after the children’s show Max and Ruby, when I was 4 years old. I have loved caring for dogs ever since. Ruby is even still kicking at 18 years old! I now have a second dog, a 2 year old Husky who loves to play. I’ve trained many dogs, older and puppies since I can remember. I also have a lot of experience with elderly dogs, Ruby being a prime example. We go on walks often and I have basic dog training experience. I work part-time fully from home. I make my own schedule for work so I am completely flexible. The only time I ever leave the house is to take my dogs somewhere, dog park, hiking trail, etc. I am available every day and do same day bookings so feel free to reach out whenever you need! My dogs are very friendly and love other dogs. We also have 2 cats that play with our dogs as well. I have a fully fenced in yard to give your fur baby plenty of room to run around freely and play.

About: I am passionate about keeping my own dog well cared for and in great shape (she gets walked twice a day and we frequently go on long distance hikes together!) and would love to help do the same for your pet. I also know how anxious it often makes my wife and I feel when we have to leave our dog alone at home for extended periods, so if you've ever felt that way yourself and would like to have someone come and visit/check in on them or need a place to board them, I'm there for you! My full-time job is seasonal so for the summer my schedule during the week is quite open for you! Starting in mid-August I'll be available afternoons and evenings for you and your pet! I am happy to play with your dog inside or outside depending on your/their preference, and I can easily match their energy level. I'll administer any treats or food needed per your instructions and make sure your dog feels at ease (and hopefully a little more tired!) when I leave for the day.
