About: I recently relocated from Johnstown to McKeesport and am looking forward to meeting all the new pups in the area! I have been dog sitting for the past few years now and absolutely love it! My family has always had dogs since I can remember. I got my first dog, Ruby, named after the children’s show Max and Ruby, when I was 4 years old. I have loved caring for dogs ever since. Ruby is even still kicking at 18 years old! I now have a second dog, a 2 year old Husky who loves to play. I’ve trained many dogs, older and puppies since I can remember. I also have a lot of experience with elderly dogs, Ruby being a prime example. We go on walks often and I have basic dog training experience. I work part-time fully from home. I make my own schedule for work so I am completely flexible. The only time I ever leave the house is to take my dogs somewhere, dog park, hiking trail, etc. I am available every day and do same day bookings so feel free to reach out whenever you need! My dogs are very friendly and love other dogs. We also have 2 cats that play with our dogs as well. I have a fully fenced in yard to give your fur baby plenty of room to run around freely and play.

About: I have taken care of/owned dogs for 15 years. I have experience with all sizes of dogs, as well as various breeds. I love animals of all kinds! I have also owned and cared for cats, reptiles, and small critters like guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, and rabbits! We recently had to put our dog down due to illness, so I want to help other dog owners take care of their furry family members! I am a therapist and work a part-time, flexible schedule. I am available for morning, afternoon and evening drop-ins throughout the work week as well as weekends! In my home, I have a yard with a runner or can take your dog out on their leash if you prefer. We have one story so minimal steps involved for older pups. In your home, I will ensure that I keep your animals safe within the environment provided. I will remain with the animal for the entirety of my time with them, and let you know immediately if I recognize any concerns for their safety.
About: Dog owner since 1970. My property has TWO fenced in yards, one in front, and one in back, with a gate in between if needed. Dogs love me and I love them. ❤️ I have an older service dog as well, and am able to help train a dog if needed. I'm semi-retired, so it's rare that your dog would be left alone at all, but if you're dog enjoys being left alone, that's always an option as well. Communication is the key.... feeding times, special needs, etc. I have everything needed to pet sit. My property has TWO fenced in yards, one in front and one in back with a gate in between. About: I am a huge animal lover and have had a dog or other pet in my life since I was born. I volunteered at the Animal Rescue League in early 2012. I was approved to walk all levels of dogs including the bigger breeds. I have yet to find a breed I do not enjoy working with. About: I’ve had cats now for about 5 years! 4 of my own (ages 4, 4, 4, and 8), and they are absolutely the loves of my life!! I do also have experience with administering oral and eye medications for cats! My experience with dogs isn’t quite as extensive but just as thorough!! I have experience with walking and feeding!! I currently work full-time as a registered nurse, doing rotating (days and nights) 12 hour shifts, 3 days a week, so I typically have quite a bit of availability and a pretty flexible schedule!! For dog walking, I am able to walk one or two dogs at one time. When walking my own dogs, sometimes I would like to go for a little run just to make sure the pups get the exercise they need. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
