About: We’ve been loving dog parents for over 25 years, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of our lives. After losing our beloved boy earlier this year, we’ve found ourselves missing the daily joy, snuggles, and companionship that come with having a pet. We’d love to share that love with your furry family member—giving them all the attention, affection, and care they deserve. Think of us as your pet’s extra set of grandparents: all the love, cuddles, and spoiling, with a calm, caring presence you can trust. I’m currently working but am winding down a 30+ year career as an educator. I’m available weekends and over the summer right now. My husband is semi-retired and is available Tuesdays and Thursdays all day. One or both of us are also available after 3 pm Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. We have a fenced yard and sadly no pets for your baby to play with. We have no children in the house either so your dog will be the only guest and will receive our undivided attention. We will only sit for 1 family at a time to ensure you the highest quality care.

About: As w most people here i have a love for animals and am on track for a career in veterinary medicine. I have a dog of my own but also have a wide range of skills with many different animals (rodent, reptiles, various exotics, etc) due to my experience working in and completing a two year BOCES program for veterinary medicine assisting which included dogs and cats ofc. I currently volunteer at a shelter walking the dogs there so I'm equipped to handle dogs of many sizes and temperaments. I also have experience working w cats of various sizes and temperaments from a separate shelter. I'm very good w adjusting my technique and handling for different animals in order to safely and properly handle them in the ways they need/ feel comfortable. Im confident in my skills and always willing to learn/ experience new situations. sooo yea im here☺️ I currently have a part-time job, but it has very flexible hours and while I am a student, I usually take these jobs on during breaks or downtime so I have open availability. I do personally have a fenced backyard and a dog back home usually if I’m hosting another dog I do my best to keep their schedules consistent but separate as my dog is very selective. Usually, I will do pet sitting at the other dog’s house where I can completely make sure that they are comfortable in their environment and follow their routine as close as possible.

About: Animal lover since the day I was born! I have a 5 year old cat named Lilly who is extremely friendly with other pets so I can bring pets to my house. I worked at New York’s Best Pets on Dyckman 200 Street before it burned down unfortunately and there I took care of feeding, grooming and playing with the pets as well as customer service. I have given prescribed medicine to dogs when they needed it and have trimmed their hair when asked to, as well as given them a full shower and a good groom. She’s a marine biologist and she's worked in animal hospitals, farms, and wildlife rehabilitation centers, adding another layer of knowledge and experience to the care we provide. I’m an Athletic Trainer and have Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off. My wife has a flexible work schedule and is home most of the time. Between the two of us, someone is almost always home, so dogs are rarely left alone for more than two hours. Because I only accept a limited number of dogs at a time, each guest receives plenty of individualized attention, playtime, affection, and care throughout the day. My home is quiet, fully fenced, and designed to help dogs feel safe and comfortable. There are no children or resident pets, allowing me to provide a calm environment and plenty of one-on-one attention. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, have clean dog beds throughout the house, and can even sleep with us if that’s what they’re used to at home. I also am honored to have experience with senior aged dogs and those with medical conditions requiring medicine or special care and am happy and comfortable to provide it. Be prepared to receive a million picture and video updates from me of how we’re spending our days together so you don’t have to worry or wonder, and can enjoy your vacation as stress free as possible. Especially if you’re away during a holiday or even their birthday, we always celebrate with special treats, toys and activities so nothing is ever missed. When your pet is in my care, they become a member of my family and are treated as such! I work full time remotely from the comfort of my house, which allows me to spend all my time on the couch with the dogs I’m sitting for and take them to play in the backyard or for a walk whenever we want. I am able to accommodate and be flexible with bathroom and feeding schedules as necessary. I have a very large, fenced in backyard with grass and concrete that dogs are able to enjoy. I also have a doggy door if they are trained that they can access the backyard whenever they would like/need to potty (can also be locked shut!). I am happy to follow any specific care instructions no matter how unique or strange you might think they are, I’ve heard it all and love learning every dogs personality and quirks that make them who they are. The dogs I sit for are just like my own pets, they are welcome and encouraged to join me on furniture, to sleep in bed with me or can be crated if preferred and one is provided (although I certainly prefer cuddling with them if allowed!).

I’ve owned a total of 4 dogs throughout my 22 years of life, and once I was old enough, my parents trusted me to help take care of them all! I have a large, fenced in yard, in the back of a spacious, and open layout home! our neighborhood is quiet, dog friendly, and has lots of safe walkways to provide your dog exercise!
