About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a ranch-style home, we had dogs of many different breeds, sizes, and personalities, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve also had dogs of my own since I was around 14 and have cared for them through every stage of life, from playful younger years to their senior years. Because of that, I’m comfortable with different temperaments, routines, energy levels, and the extra patience older dogs may need. I truly enjoy being around dogs and would care for your pet with the same attention and affection I give my own. I work during the week, but I’m available before and after work, in the evenings, and on weekends. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine for walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always follow the owner’s instructions carefully. “Yessenia was absolutely lovely to work with. She answered any questions we had as first time Rover customers in order to put us at ease. We could see from the first interaction that she would be kind to our dog, as she immediately got down and gave her hand to the dog to sniff and then pet her. She has a daughter with a sweet and gentle personality, who kindly shared her own blanket with the dog to make the dog feel more comfortable. Yessenia‘s husband was friendly and pleasant as well. Yessenia sent us multiple pictures and updates over the weekend while she watched the dog. Though we brought some supplies, she was also prepared with her own if necessary. Furthermore, since Yesenia had already experienced life with a senior dog, she offered us some suggestions that might help with our pup. Our Rusty had never been cared for by a stranger up to this point. It was hard for us to leave her. That said, we would not only highly recommend Yessenia and her family to other dog owners, we will definitely reach out to Yessenia again if we need someone to board the dog. She even included a lovely note about the experience. Her thoughts were genuine, and it was nice for us to be reminded about the beauty of our dog whom we see every day.”
