She deals with significant anxiety and back-leg pain, so I was nervous about leaving her in a new space with a stranger, but I had nothing to worry about. She settled in quickly and even felt comfortable enough to trick Gerald into getting off the couch so she could steal his spot. Although she’s usually reluctant to be active, she went on several walks with him. Gerald was also great about sending regular photos and updates, and very flexible when I ran late for pickup. With Milo, I handle everything from bathing and daily care to teaching basic tricks and maintaining a structured routine. I’m very used to planning my routine around a dog’s needs and making sure they feel comfortable, stimulated, and cared for consistently. Starting in June, I’ll be home full-time during the weekdays, which allows me to give pets much more attention and companionship than sitters who may be balancing another full-time job. Because of this, I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, consistent supervision, and flexible scheduling for drop-ins, walks, and house sitting.
