“Anna was great with Kobi!! This was our first time utilizing the Rover app. We didn’t know what to expect and Kobi requires medication to be administered at specific times during the day. Before the sessions began, we met with Anna so she could meet Kobi and so we could go over his medications, what he likes to do, etc. We could see that she understood everything quickly and that she is very good with pets. Anna was punctual and left detailed feedback for each visit and the “Rover Cards” from the app were provided in real time. Messages were sent each time the sessions began and ended. She even solved a minor issue on the very first visit that was not related to Kobi. It really put our mind at ease since we were out of state and unable to return quickly if we needed to. She used great judgement as the temperatures outside were extreme and she adjusted the time spent in the visits and play activity to suit Kobi’s needs accordingly. We could tell from the many photos that Anna took and posted on the Rover Cards that Kobi was bonding with her and trusted her. A great first experience with the Rover app due to Anna’s professionalism and caring demeanor. We highly recommend Anna and we’re hoping she’ll be available when we decide to go on trips in the future, knowing how well she took care of Kobi!”

“We decided to try Rover instead of using the doggie hotel we normally go with, because the hotel has gone somewhat down hill for sometime now. Also, because our newly adopted chihuahua is a very nervous baby with new surroundings and people. We went with Lorena because of her already great reviews, friendly face, and close distance to our house. She was great. She came to meet us in advance on a very short notice and was as friendly as we hoped. Our dog packer immediately loved her. She paid attention to our conversation and requests, she asked relevant questions, and tried to get a bit familiar with Romy, our chihuahuas well. During our trip, we received check in and check out notifications when she was at our home and photos during all her visits. Eventually Romy got a little more comfortable and was doing really good. We are very happy with her service and will definitely be booking her again!”

About: I have grown up caring for animals my whole life, including caring for others’ pets. I’ve had experience feeding and caring for all sorts of beloved creatures, including dogs, cats, horses, mules, donkeys, turtles, birds, bunnies, and guinea pigs! I have a golden retriever that I have personally trained to be a service animal, so have a lot of experience in canine behavior and training methods. I can provide some help with training / reinforcement during care time. I live on a mini farm with loads of room to roam. We have a large fenced backyard and pasture area. We have two donkeys, a horse, two cats, and our dog, but have plenty of room to welcome other furry friends! I work at home, and also homeschool my children. We are home almost all the time during the week, and my schedule is very flexible. I have a large fenced backyard, and also a separate fenced and shaded kennel area if it’s required to keep animals separate from each other. In the Phoenix heat, we try to keep the animals in air conditioning as much as possible, and when outside provide plenty of shade and water!

About: I’ve always had pets in the family and have been responsible for the dogs for 10+ years, the cats 5+ years, reptiles 5+ years, and have been pet sitting for friends for 5+ years. My own dogs are very old probably about 15 years old with health issues so I have lots of experience caring for older dogs as well as experience fostering stray kittens needing bottle feeding. I’ve helped care for and rehone multiple strays over the years. After loosing an older stray cat last year and the knowledge of my dogs looming age I’ve started taking care of more than just my friends pets to fill the hole in my heart. I have full availability Monday through Fridays. With fully available days there is lots of time for walks and playing. Increased rates for weekends and holidays. I play with and walk pets to keep them active and can either increase or decrease the amount of play and walks to cater to your pets specific needs. One of my dogs is nice and can come along for play dates.

About: I have been around pets my entire life and I love both cats and dogs. I currently have a Dalmatian, but I have owned cats, border collies and Australian shepherds my entire life! I have experience training all of the dogs I have owned, administering medication and of course, making them feel loved. I currently work part time, so pet care works perfectly for my schedule throughout the week. I am a Gilbert resident so I am always only a few minutes away to pop in and assist with your pet! I make sure all pets that I care for will have the same love, attention and exercise as my own as well as any specific routines you have for them!

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and honestly have a huge heart for every kind. Right now I have 3 cats, and two of them need special care—one takes an inhaler daily and the other gets medicine through a syringe—so I’m really comfortable with giving meds and handling pets who need a little extra attention. I also trained my dog (an Aussie/Husky mix) from when he was a puppy, so I’ve got experience with energetic breeds and basic training. Over the years I’ve had 7 cats total and 3 birds (including parakeets and a cockatoo), so I’ve always been surrounded by animals. Even though I’m only 18, I’ve seen a lot when it comes to pet behavior and care. I really love animals and even love going to zoos just to be around them. I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for. Right now I work part-time with no set schedule, but I’m planning to adjust it soon to have Fridays through Sundays off to focus mainly on pet care. On the other days, I work evenings from 4pm–10pm, so I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and even night check-ins before and after those hours. I’m flexible and happy to work around your pet’s routine! I won’t be using my home for pet care, but when I’m in a client’s home, I treat it with the same respect and care as I would my own. I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable by following their usual routine, giving them lots of attention, and keeping their space clean. I’m very mindful of doors, feeding schedules, medications, and anything else specific to your pet’s needs. Trust and safety are my top priorities every time.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 3 years old. I’ve recently been volunteering at the animal shelter we got our pups at. I have a senior dog, two adolescents, and a cat, as well as fish and geckos. I’m an online student with a flexible schedule. I have medical appointments, but I should be able to be available before, and after business hours. We have 3 dogs and multiple gates setup throughout the house. We also have a fenced in grass area separate from the rest of the yard. (Used to have a wild fence jumper) I have 2 large kennels and a small kennel if they need to be crated for sleep, or feeding. I’m willing to hear your questions and concerns and be open.
