“Alexis was absolutely wonderful with our pets Angel and Leo. She was punctual, kind, and very attentive. Communication was great before and during the booking, and I felt completely at ease knowing everything was in good hands. While Angel kept to herself, Leo loved spending time with her, and we’ll definitely be booking again! Highly recommend.”

“Karen is THE BEST cat sitter you will ever have. She’s extremely kind and my cat LOVED her. She sent pictures and totally let me know what was going on. HIGHLY recommend!!! She will forever be my cat sitter when I need to go out of town!”

“I cannot express enough how grateful we are to have found Madison through Rover! She took care of our three cats—Misty, Grant, and especially our shy little kitten, Maurice—and the experience was above and beyond in every way. Right from the start, Madison’s professionalism and warmth stood out. With her background and experience in animal care and behavior, we felt completely at ease leaving our crew in her hands. Every visit came with incredibly thoughtful, detailed updates—she shared how much they ate, their moods, playtime moments, snuggles, and even any small things she noticed or questions she had. It was clear she was paying close attention to each cat as an individual. But what truly blew us away was the care and patience she showed with Maurice. He’s our shy guy—nervous, unsure, and hesitant around new people. Madison gave him the space he needed, but gently and consistently worked to build trust on his terms. By the end of our trip, we were getting messages about him coming out to play, accepting pets, and even initiating some snuggles (!!). He came out the other side of this experience noticeably more confident and brave—and we truly credit Madison for that transformation. He’s a more courageous little man now, and it means the world to us. We came home to three very happy, relaxed cats and a sense of peace that they had been genuinely cared for. Madison is a gem and we feel incredibly lucky to have had her care for our fur family. We would book her again in a heartbeat—and recommend her to anyone looking for not just a sitter, but someone who will love your pets like their own. 🐱 Hugs from momo binks🖤 + granty boy 🧡+ stinky girl🩶! From the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU!! from Cel & Jake🫶🏽”

“Hannah was great! Friendly, nice, and overall very easy to communicate with. We had no worries leaving our fur baby at home while we went on vacation as he was left in good care with Hannah. Definitely would recommend!”

“Betty was amazing! She was great with both of our cats and extremely thoughtful. She communicated very well with us and took lots of great photos! We would love to have her check in on our cats in the future!”

“Julie has been nothing but amazing for my two cats. She's incredibly responsive and professional with her check ins. I had a sort of last minute request and she didn't even hesitate to help out (thank you again for that!) I'd highly recommend her for checking in on your cats!”

“Anna was great with Kobi!! This was our first time utilizing the Rover app. We didn’t know what to expect and Kobi requires medication to be administered at specific times during the day. Before the sessions began, we met with Anna so she could meet Kobi and so we could go over his medications, what he likes to do, etc. We could see that she understood everything quickly and that she is very good with pets. Anna was punctual and left detailed feedback for each visit and the “Rover Cards” from the app were provided in real time. Messages were sent each time the sessions began and ended. She even solved a minor issue on the very first visit that was not related to Kobi. It really put our mind at ease since we were out of state and unable to return quickly if we needed to. She used great judgement as the temperatures outside were extreme and she adjusted the time spent in the visits and play activity to suit Kobi’s needs accordingly. We could tell from the many photos that Anna took and posted on the Rover Cards that Kobi was bonding with her and trusted her. A great first experience with the Rover app due to Anna’s professionalism and caring demeanor. We highly recommend Anna and we’re hoping she’ll be available when we decide to go on trips in the future, knowing how well she took care of Kobi!”

“Laura was super helpful! we needed someone to drop in on our cat 2x daily, let her out and feed her including giving her medicine. Our cat was being a little difficult taking her medicine during the first drop in but Laura stuck with it and got her to take it, which we were so grateful for since our cat has chronic seizures if unmedicated. So thankful for her help!”

“We decided to try Rover instead of using the doggie hotel we normally go with, because the hotel has gone somewhat down hill for sometime now. Also, because our newly adopted chihuahua is a very nervous baby with new surroundings and people. We went with Lorena because of her already great reviews, friendly face, and close distance to our house. She was great. She came to meet us in advance on a very short notice and was as friendly as we hoped. Our dog packer immediately loved her. She paid attention to our conversation and requests, she asked relevant questions, and tried to get a bit familiar with Romy, our chihuahuas well. During our trip, we received check in and check out notifications when she was at our home and photos during all her visits. Eventually Romy got a little more comfortable and was doing really good. We are very happy with her service and will definitely be booking her again!”

About: I have grown up caring for animals my whole life, including caring for others’ pets. I’ve had experience feeding and caring for all sorts of beloved creatures, including dogs, cats, horses, mules, donkeys, turtles, birds, bunnies, and guinea pigs! I have a golden retriever that I have personally trained to be a service animal, so have a lot of experience in canine behavior and training methods. I can provide some help with training / reinforcement during care time. I live on a mini farm with loads of room to roam. We have a large fenced backyard and pasture area. We have two donkeys, a horse, two cats, and our dog, but have plenty of room to welcome other furry friends! I work at home, and also homeschool my children. We are home almost all the time during the week, and my schedule is very flexible. I have a large fenced backyard, and also a separate fenced and shaded kennel area if it’s required to keep animals separate from each other. In the Phoenix heat, we try to keep the animals in air conditioning as much as possible, and when outside provide plenty of shade and water!

“Lasey was great! She took great care of our dog while we were away for the weekend. She sent pictures and always answered my texts while checking in. We would definitely use Lasey again in the future.”

“Alison was a saving grace this Thanksgiving. My usual sitter had an unexpected emergency and I was considering canceling my trip home. However I reached out to Alison and she took the best care of my lil guys while I was gone and was fantastic at communicating the whole time. Highly recommend her for all of your pet needs!”

About: I’ve always had pets in the family and have been responsible for the dogs for 10+ years, the cats 5+ years, reptiles 5+ years, and have been pet sitting for friends for 5+ years. My own dogs are very old probably about 15 years old with health issues so I have lots of experience caring for older dogs as well as experience fostering stray kittens needing bottle feeding. I’ve helped care for and rehone multiple strays over the years. After loosing an older stray cat last year and the knowledge of my dogs looming age I’ve started taking care of more than just my friends pets to fill the hole in my heart. I have full availability Monday through Fridays. With fully available days there is lots of time for walks and playing. Increased rates for weekends and holidays. I play with and walk pets to keep them active and can either increase or decrease the amount of play and walks to cater to your pets specific needs. One of my dogs is nice and can come along for play dates.

About: I have been around pets my entire life and I love both cats and dogs. I currently have a Dalmatian, but I have owned cats, border collies and Australian shepherds my entire life! I have experience training all of the dogs I have owned, administering medication and of course, making them feel loved. I currently work part time, so pet care works perfectly for my schedule throughout the week. I am a Gilbert resident so I am always only a few minutes away to pop in and assist with your pet! I make sure all pets that I care for will have the same love, attention and exercise as my own as well as any specific routines you have for them!

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and honestly have a huge heart for every kind. Right now I have 3 cats, and two of them need special care—one takes an inhaler daily and the other gets medicine through a syringe—so I’m really comfortable with giving meds and handling pets who need a little extra attention. I also trained my dog (an Aussie/Husky mix) from when he was a puppy, so I’ve got experience with energetic breeds and basic training. Over the years I’ve had 7 cats total and 3 birds (including parakeets and a cockatoo), so I’ve always been surrounded by animals. Even though I’m only 18, I’ve seen a lot when it comes to pet behavior and care. I really love animals and even love going to zoos just to be around them. I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for. Right now I work part-time with no set schedule, but I’m planning to adjust it soon to have Fridays through Sundays off to focus mainly on pet care. On the other days, I work evenings from 4pm–10pm, so I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and even night check-ins before and after those hours. I’m flexible and happy to work around your pet’s routine! I won’t be using my home for pet care, but when I’m in a client’s home, I treat it with the same respect and care as I would my own. I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable by following their usual routine, giving them lots of attention, and keeping their space clean. I’m very mindful of doors, feeding schedules, medications, and anything else specific to your pet’s needs. Trust and safety are my top priorities every time.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 3 years old. I’ve recently been volunteering at the animal shelter we got our pups at. I have a senior dog, two adolescents, and a cat, as well as fish and geckos. I’m an online student with a flexible schedule. I have medical appointments, but I should be able to be available before, and after business hours. We have 3 dogs and multiple gates setup throughout the house. We also have a fenced in grass area separate from the rest of the yard. (Used to have a wild fence jumper) I have 2 large kennels and a small kennel if they need to be crated for sleep, or feeding. I’m willing to hear your questions and concerns and be open.

About: I’ve cared for dogs at every stage of life- from training playful puppies to lovingly supporting senior dogs through their final days. I’ve personally raised and cared for both large and small breeds, giving each dog the attention, patience, and love they deserve. I’m comfortable administering medication, handling special diets, and adapting to each pup’s unique needs. I also have a strong foundation in basic training and dog behavior—just let me know if there’s something you’re working on and I’ll reinforce it while they’re with me. What truly sets me apart is how I treat every dog like one of my own. Whether they’re curled up next to me on the couch or snoozing in bed, your dog will feel right at home. My goal is always to create a safe, happy, and loving environment where tails wag, personalities shine, and pet parents can relax knowing their pup is in good hands. I work from home, so your pup will have tons of attention, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. Whether they need cuddles, outside time, or just a calm place to relax, they won’t be left alone for more than an hour or two at a time. My home is peaceful, pet-friendly, and filled with love, and I treat every dog like they’re part of the family 🐾 I’m home the majority of most days, so there’s plenty of time for walks, play breaks, belly rubs, and just being together. Whether they need a calm, cozy space or a little extra attention, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, loved, and never alone. Whether your pup is staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours, their comfort and safety are my top priorities. I create a calm, loving environment where they can fully relax—whether that means snoozing on the couch, playing in the yard, or curling up in bed. I follow any routines you provide closely, from feeding and medications to walks and training cues. I treat every dog like family, and I’m always tuned in to their needs, energy, and behavior to ensure they feel secure and truly cared for.

Sage C.
“Sage is devoted to his 3 dogs and has done extensive training classes with them. He's very patient and attentive to how dogs communicate their needs. He volunteers at Arizona Animal Welfare League and enjoys their additional training programs. Throughout his childhood he benefited greatly from service dogs and emotional support dogs during his times at children's hospitals and it really fostered a love and respect for the relationship between dogs and people. His own emotional support dog is 15 now and still an enormous benefit to his life. He loves to find ways to make each dog he encounters happy and comfortable and it's clear how much joy it brings Sage too. I would trust Sage with the care of any dog, even shy ones that need some time and patience to warm up to a new person.”

Tara S.
“Tara is truly a gem! She has stayed at my home multiple times to care for my five dogs. And every time, I come back to happy, well-loved pups and a house in better shape than I left it. She handles everything with grace and confidence, even when some of my dogs have medication needs. She never hesitates to follow through with their current routines, and I always feel completely at ease knowing they’re in her hands. It’s obvious that she genuinely cares for each of them… not just keeping them fed and walked, but really giving them the love and attention they thrive on. She’s reliable, thoughtful, respectful of the home, and truly one of a kind. I can’t recommend her enough!”
Gilbert dog parents share their Rover experiences
Nicole did a wonderful job taking care of my dogs while I was out of town. She was reliable, attentive, and made sure they were well looked after. It gave me peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. I came home to happy, relaxed pups, and I really appreciate the care she provided. I would definitely recommend her and will be booking with her again!

Emily is fantastic! I reached out last minute, and she was able to help me out in a tremendous way! She goes out of her way to check in my best friend twice a day! I can tell that she's a joy. My dog is excited when I leave. No more crying or anxiety. All smiles when I leave and when I return, since he understands that he won't be alone too long. Thanks for all that you do Emily!

Courtney has been consistently caring for our greyhound for over 2 months, and she's incredible! She's always communicative, respectful, quick with responding to messages and booking requests, follows directions to a "T", and accommodates our needs. Most importantly, our pup loves her! Our normally anxious boy always seems so relaxed and happy after her visits. I can't recommend Courtney enough!

Leslie did a drop in visit for us this time. She is always so caring, calm and accepting of my two Golden Retrievers. They both tend to be happy barkers and make quite a bit a of noise to welcome people when they hear the door opening. Thank you so much Leslie for helping out with this visit!

Joy & Matthew were great! They were very easy to get in touch with and communicate with and were very accommodating when my plans kept changing. I really enjoyed that we had a meet and greet prior to booking to make sure that my dog and them were a great fit. We would definitely book with them again for all our Rover needs!

Brooke was great at taking care of our dogs and cat while we were gone. She kept us updated at each check in, and even took care of additional household tasks such as grabbing the mail and taking out the trash. We will definitely work with Brooke in the future and highly recommend her.

Sophie is absolutely wonderful. She watched our 2 dogs, 2 kittens, and a grumpy old cat while we went to Spring Training games. One of the dogs gets nervous around people she doesn't know and Sophie was able to calm her and make friends with her. We'll definitely hire her again next year for Spring Training.
