About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my 10 years of hands-on experience caring for my own Chihuahua, a small, energetic little brown bean with a shiny coat. Through the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of small dog care, from daily morning and evening walks to preparing soft meals tailored to her needs. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to providing pets with personalized care, whether it’s ensuring they get the right nutrition, sticking to their routine, or simply giving them plenty of love and attention. I work hybrid from home, which allows me to provide attentive care for pets. I'm available for boarding, house sitting, and check-ins from Thursday to Sunday. Additionally, I offer check-ins and house sitting on Monday to Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. I live in an apartment, but my complex is surrounded by beautiful trees and open space, perfect for walking and running around. There’s always something fun to do outside, whether it’s exploring nature or playing in safe, pet-friendly areas. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since was was 12 years old. I’ve adopted two dogs, one from a rescue and the other from Indianapolis Animal Care Services. (Both have crossed the rainbow bridge.) I volunteered with Every Dog Counts Rescue for 5 years, volunteered with The Humane Society of Hamilton County and Indianapolis Animal Care Services. I also worked at 4 Paws Lodge in Fishers for approximately a year. I also dogsit for friends and family members every so often. I work full time Monday - Friday for a law firm in downtown Indy (I’m remote on Thursdays.) (I leave for work around 7am and don’t get home until 5:15pm). I’m in culinary school as well and have class this semester on Mondays/Tuesdays 5:30-10:20 (through October 13th). Other than working and school, I’m very much a homebody. Despite having a busy schedule, spending time with my furry friends is one of my favorite things to do. I’ve cared for multiple dogs within numerous homes, many times. I just make sure everyone gets as much love and affection as often as they want!

Each overnight stay is per 24 hrs. anything over is an Extended stay. I only care for 1 special dog at a time, unless there’s more than one dog in your family. I specialize in hosting one special dog at a time (no cats allowed). This is a Happy Dog 🐶 Retreat 1:1 🥰 Please share with me likes and dislikes. I want to know as much as I can for a happy retreat! I have a tether in back yard with no fence. I do have a pond in my back yard so we will enjoy scenic wildlife & peaceful safe environment. She came on time, fed my dogs, gave my one dog her meds, let them outside to do their business, and stayed a little longer for some one-on-one play time. About: I’ve loved Dogs and Cats for as long as I can remember. I’ve had cats since I was 5 years old, and they’ve always been an important part of my life. I had my 1st dog in middle school so ,I grew up playing with them, sleeping next to them, and caring for them every day. Being around cats and dogs brings me so much joy, and I understand how to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I will care for your cat or dog as if they were my own. Cats are part of my daily life. I don’t have dogs but I love it and also was my daily life when I live with my parents. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, I’m home most of the time, so I can give them plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles. During the week, I’m available from 5 PM until the next morning, and I love spending my evenings relaxing with cats by my side. In my routine, cats are never alone—they are always with me, receiving love and care. 5/5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lauren was absolutely a delight to work with! As someone new to the process, I really appreciated how patient she was on our initial call to explain how everything works. We set up an in-person meet-and-greet, and she was fantastic with my two dogs, Lola and Uschi, who both loved spending time with her. While I was traveling this week, Lauren was incredibly prompt, thorough, and thoughtful. She provided wonderful picture updates and let me know exactly how they were doing, which gave me complete peace of mind. Leaving them at home was the perfect alternative to boarding, which usually stresses them out. Thanks to Lauren's wonderful care, my dogs were relaxed, happy, and comfortable in their own environment. I am so grateful for her exceptional service, highly recommend her, and will absolutely use her again!
We’re so lucky we found Laila on Rover. We had a last minute weekend trip and she took so much of the stress off knowing our boy was going to be well taken care of. She went above and beyond with his walks and cuddles and even sent us quite a bit of pictures while we were gone. We could tell our pup had a good, long weekend with his new friend. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
