I am retired so have flexibility in my schedule and can usually be available 7 days a week. I do have so commitments on some days but am willing to work with pet owners to meet their needs.

Currently I do not offer sitting at my home. I am willing to sit at your house meeting your requests- usually able to visit every 4-5 hours. I have not spent the night at the owner’s house.. if this is requested I would want to make sure this is a good fit.
Information Karen R. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know how they react to walkers coming into the house, what their triggers might be, and their favorite things to do. Also if the owner wants anything special while I am walking or playing at home to just let me know- example feeding, putting in a pen, etc.
A typical day
I like to walk, run and play if the dog is willing. I have watched small puppies that don’t like to walk much so I carry them to explore and then let them walk back home. I love to walk trails with them if close to home. I always have a towel with me if the weather is nasty to wipe paws before going home.

Pet care experience
I just love pets, especially dogs. I grew up with dogs with different personalities and size- small poodle to large springer spaniel. I love to play, walk and run(jog) with them. I currently do not have a pet, but I do watch my grand-dogs on a regular basis. I am now retired and have walking and watching dogs for the last 4 years. I would love to meet, play and walk your dog!

Karen is a wonderful, reliable pet caretaker! She has taken great care of our dog while we are unable to! She treats your pet as if its her own. She will show up on time and make sure your pet gets everything he/she needs and exactly how you request it! :) She is the best! In the thick of the winter she went out with our dog and she had to carry him back after his paws were getting too cold... she is a true pet lover!
