“This was our first time using a dog sitter and Rover. Gabriel was super friendly and made us and our dog feel comfortable. I could tell my dog was well taken care of and will gladly use Gabriel again.”

“Brendan took such good care of my dog Minnie, and was able to help me out with doggy day care pretty last minute! Minnie loved spending time with his dog and she was exhausted by the end of the day when I picked her up from all the playing. Thank you Brendan!”

“Julie was so amazing! So grateful for her care and willingness to watch him so last minute! She has the best and sweetest attitude and willing to make it work! Thank you Julie! You are a breath of fresh air!”

“They are so wonderful, nice, accommodating, and took great care of our girl! We loved getting updates throughout daycare and love that they have two sweet similar pups themselves! Thank you so much for everything!”

“Jinna took great care of our dog. She provided updates throughout the day and was very accommodating when our timeline changed last minute. We highly recommend and will definitely book again”

“We can’t say enough good things about Laura, Chris, and their family! From the very first, it felt like our two Sheepadoodles were welcomed as part of the pack. We booked a full 6 days and every evening they would be exhausted in the best way, always excited to return. Laura and Chris were kind, communicative, and clearly dog-experts! Can’t recommend them enough!”

About: Furry friends have been a part of my home since I was a child. Growing up, I cannot think of a time when we had less than 2 dogs and 2 cats in the house. They’ve always been a part of the family, so I understand the need of an owner to fully trust the pet professional. I am here to provide that support and be someone to have your animals best interests at heart. I love to play with animals. I will keep your pets happy and safe by treating them like the family members they truly are. I am a stay at home mom to twin 3 year olds. I do work PRN as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. My twins will need to come with me for drop in visits or walks but they are excellent listeners and great with animals - whether that means giving them space or lots of love We have a fully fenced in yard and always provide supervision when dogs are being let out. When I let your animal out I am sure to follow all instructions!
About: I am a mom and local school teacher! My family would love to take care of your baby. We have watched many dogs throughout the years and would love to meet you! **Out for summer break so home the majority of the time!**. I can run home to let out to potty if needed. My kids and I are home about 2:30 each day and have the rest of the day to play. We love to go on walks and spoil your baby. We are happy to keep in their crate or allow them to sleep in our beds.
“Amanda was great and Millie had a great time with Porky. She came home exhausted after having several days of playing. Amanda was incredibly accommodating after I booked daycare only instead of boarding. She offered to watch Millie overnight without hesitation. She’s super easy to get ahold of and provides regular updates. Of course Porky kept Millie super busy and having fun!”

“Jennifer treated our dog as if it was her own. She was a great communicator, sending pictures and updates throughout the day. She has a lives in a nice house, is a quiet neighborhood, with a fenced in backyard, perfect for any dog’s stay. We plan to use her again.”

“Karen was a godsend. We had to find arrangements in less than a week and using the Rover app made it easy. Based upon the criteria we selected, Karen’s profile immediately appealed to us. The meet and greet went splendidly. Her yard is very doggie friendly and our Lucy took to playing and romping around right away which really put us at ease. We had a great conversation while the dogs explored their home away from home. We felt good how she had a notebook that had each dogs profile and their likes/dislikes, daily routine, where they liked to sleep, etc. Karen’s daily updates put us further at ease knowing how our fur babies were doing. Seeing pictures of them “in action” always made us smile. It was comforting knowing our Penny was constantly in her lap. Loved how she spoiled them by adding a little gravy to their food to get them to finally eat. All-in-all, we couldn’t have been more pleased with Karen. It’s so evident how much she loves her job not only taking such good care of other peoples pets, but also taking care of the emotions of the pets parents. Karen is a lovely person and we know we have a friend for life and a home away from home for our girls.”

About: I’ve loved animals since I was a kid, and I’ve spent 30+ years caring for them—through volunteer work at shelters, helping friends and neighbors with their boarding needs, and caring for my own pets. Over the years I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, cats, bearded dragons, and guinea pigs. My primary focus is providing a peaceful and cozy, home-style boarding experience for all pets in my care. While I welcome pets of varying energy levels and temperaments, I do specialize in those who have low to moderate energy levels, are potty-trained, and generally well-mannered as this allows me to provide a calming environment for everyone in my care. I am home full-time and I’m so excited to be able to meet some new fur friends! I do not have any other commitments so I’m available to give all the love and attention :) My two main focuses are providing the best quality care for your pet and giving you peace of mind while you're away so that you aren't stressing the whole time. I'm happy to provide regular updates and pictures as well as respond promptly should you have any questions or concerns. I can provide a loving and calm environment for a slower-moving senior pet as well as fulfill the needs of a more energetic young pet by adhering to any routines and exercise needs they may have. For any pet guests that might prefer some space, I do have gates and crates but these would only be used at your request/suggestion. We do allow our fur friends on furniture and even share our goodies with them sometimes, with pet parent's approval of course. I have a 6 ft privacy fenced yard as well as a nice walking trail just outside of my neighborhood so we can go for walks as well as play in the backyard. I can also accommodate animals with medication needs, specific feeding schedules, and those who might prefer some space.
About: I am a dog lover of the highest order. I have had 4 good boys over the years at our home. We love dogs. Our house will be dream for your doggo. I have a huge private yard on a lake with woods as well. To be candid, we lost our boys Nash (10) and Ryder (15) in 2025. Pictures below. Long and short....I will spoil the hell out of your dogs. They may never want to home. You all can debate who had the better vacation...you....or your pooch. :) I am home most of the day everyday. I am also a single dad of 14 year old human. Your doggies will be well looked after. Your pets will be our pets as well and receive nothing but love and attention. They will be spoiled rotten. Toys, walks squirrels and more.
About: Your pet is my guest. I love dogs beyond measure and love getting to know their individual personalities. Being in an unfamiliar place without their people can be scary and intimidating. I will do my best to calm their nerves and reassure their safety. My goal is to provide a safe, fun, loving and comfortable environment while you are away. I work from home so your pet will never be lonely. This freedom gives me the flexibility to accommodate whatever is needed. And also, extra love and snuggles I have a fenced in backyard, I love to take walks or just sit on the couch and veg if that’s preferred for the pooch
About: I have been around animals my entire life, however, I certainly have the most experience with caring for cats and dogs as they have lived in my home all this time and still do today! I am currently on summer break for school and therefore I am available any hour of almost every day until school starts back up in the middle of August! When it comes to my own pets, my cats have full access to food as they all have the same diet, and they are additionally fed wet food twice a day. They are also given outdoor time and all of mine are trained to stay around the house and come back inside when prompted! Their litter boxes are cleaned daily, each of them are brushed regularly, etc. When it comes to dogs, my family dog is fed twice a day, taken on walks at least once a day, spends lots of time outdoors, and is groomed routinely. All of these are dependent on owners, but that is how things are done in my house hold specifically!
About: Hi, I’m Saige I’ve always had a passion for animals, and I’m currently building my career around caring for them. I completed 2 years in online vet tech school, where I learned skills in animal handling, health, and safety. I’m also planning to go to college for wildlife conservation so I can continue working with animals on a bigger scale. I’m comfortable with all personalities from shy pets to high energy, playful ones and I make sure every animal feels safe, understood, and cared for. I’ll be starting full-time online classes in the spring, but my coursework won’t limit my availability. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Germantown
Christopher and Laura took great care of my French bulldog, Princeton. He seemed to have a wonderful time playing with their two friendly golden retrievers, Lola and Lemon. Their daughter was also involved and helped make his stay a positive experience. I really appreciated how patient and attentive they were when I went over Princeton's routines and preferences. They took the time to listen and made me feel confident that he would be well cared for. Their fenced backyard was another big plus, and I think Princeton thoroughly enjoyed having a safe outdoor space to run around and play. Overall, this was a great experience, and I would happily recommend Christopher and Laura to anyone looking for caring, thoughtful dog sitters. Princeton came home happy and well cared for!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
