“Amara is great. She has stayed with our dogs for few days and has also done a drop in for us. Our dogs are happy to see her and are comfortable with her. I will continue to use her for our doggos ❤️”

About: I have 9 years experience of professional dog training. I have 3 shepherds of my own who I use as demo dogs when teaching classes! I work with dogs of all breeds and sizes (always love a challenge:)). I also do a lot of boarding, dog sitting and walking for a lot of my clients and bring my dogs to tag along for a full pack walk! I also do baths, nails, blow drying and brush outs! I currently make my own schedule as I do dog training, grooming and boarding. I am able to attend to every dog immediately and do not need to leave them alone long at all! Sundays are the only days where there will be a 4 hour gap due to church :) I have a fenced and yard with plenty of space to roam and run and I have my 3 shepherds to keep your fur baby company! I also have crates that I can use as well!
“We’re absolutely ecstatic about how well Lauren took care of Pacer. She was punctual in her role and left no details undone. She sent pictures and stayed in contact with us whenever i needed reassurance. Excellent job!! We will be using Lauren again for our next trip”

“Jasmine looked in on Madison all week. This is the first time Madison was alone so I was especially nervous. She took direction well and made necessary adjustments to make sure Madison as as comfortable as possible. I will be re-booking!”

“Karen took such great care of our furry companions. I loved that we got a visit card at the start & end of the visits. I haven’t gotten those before from other sitters. We would certainly have Karen look after our doggies again.”

“Gabriel did a fantastic job with communication, photos, and videos. He came right as expected and went above and beyond on the job. He is truly a wonderful pet sitter that anyone can trust!”

“Malika did a great job with house sitting and drop in visits with my dog, Dolly! Dolly is a foster pitbull who was recently pulled from a shelter, and she can be nervous around new people. Malika helped her relax and send lots of pictures and video updates!!”

“What a pleasant experience!! Rebecca was kind and able to work well with the critters at my home for an important weekend for me (the first since I had surgery, and the awesome relaxation that I was able to spare myself to stop professional burn-out). It was so appreciated!”

“Joa is awesome! He did such an incredible job taking care of Barky and making sure he got all of the details down. Barky’s (and our) comfort were Joa’s top priority. We greatly appreciate all he did and trust him to watch Barky again!”

About: I currently own four dogs in my family, a senior older dog and two puppies included, I love all types and breeds! I have a tattoo of one of my dog’s paw prints! love long walks as well, I currently get over 30k steps a day, so dog walking seems like the perfect way to save for law school. I’m currently on summer break and just got back from an internship, I’m free most of the time until September 22nd when I’ll be moving back to school I like to keep things tidy and I’m very good with time management, I’m good with puppies and senior dogs! I love walking and playing with animals

About: I grew up with dogs: Jayda-lab/border collie mix and Scottie + Jasmine-Scottish Terriers. I personally trained all 3 to be house trained and all sorts of tricks! From “Speak!” to “Roll Over!”, “Dance!” to “Play Dead!” my dogs could do all the basics along with giving all the loves and cuddles. Now I have my own family and my daughter, Penelope, is DYING for a cat or dog and I want her to learn what it takes to be responsible for a pet (at least in part). Help me teach my daughter (who will be my sidekick if you’re ok with her tagging along when she can), and I promise I’ll love on your pet and be a reliable and professional pet helper ♥️ I’m a Stay-At-Home-Mom and Professional Photographer with my own business so flexible is my middle name! I like to fill my pet schedule during the hours my daughter Penelope is home if I can so she can learn the ropes of pet care in preparation for us getting our own pet soon. My schedule may change week to week depending on my other family member’s needs, but I love having a regular routine with regular clients ♥️ I step into your world and try to provide my services in the same way that you would. From walking them, playing with them, making sure they have food/water, your pet will be well loved while you’re away. I love to bring little treats to connect with them in my own way (with your permission of course) ♥️
“I feel so comfortable leaving my fur babies in Kristina’s care. She makes sure they are well taken care of and happy. She also communicates very well so that I know how things are going while I’m away.”

“Kristie was absolutely wonderful! She has a natural gift with dogs even very anxious ones. My dogs warmed up to her so quickly. She took the time w them too. I would definitely hire her again!”

“Lydia was great. Wrigley was happy and playful when we came home from out trip. Lydia sent photos and really took great care of our girl! We will definitely use her again in the future”

“Paige was phenomenal with our 4 kitties! She went out of her way to wash our bedding in which one cat had an accident on. Her communication was great. All of the kitties got equal playtime, and our shy kitty even allowed her to see him a few times. I would definitely book her again for drop-in visits.”

“Savannah was AWESOME. She fed our cat twice/ day for a full week. She took the time to pet and spend time with our Sacha, took care of her litter box, and sent us pictures along the way. I would absolutely book with her again.”

“Kelsey has become our regular cat sitter for when we are out of town. My girls remember her each time and at this last visit started rolling over and asking her for belly pets signifying their trust for her. We love having a trusted pet sitter that can come to our home and take care of our beloved pets.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my entire life and have a big heart for furry friends! I’ve been a stay-at-home Mom and now that my kids are in high school and college, I’m looking to fill the time previously spent driving to practices every day. I’ve been an elementary school art teacher and would love to help take care of your animals while I look to get back into the classroom. My schedule is very wide open and can often work around your needs. I like to do Pilates in the morning, but I am free always after 10 AM. I can work weekends as well, depending on your needs. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - McCordsville
Savannah has been coming to our home for daily subcutaneous fluid sessions for my senior cat, who has kidney disease and a heart condition, and I genuinely do not know what we would do without her. She is skilled and confident with the fluid administration itself, my cat did not even flinch at his very first session with her, and she handles the needle, the setup, and the whole process like someone who truly knows what she is doing. Beyond the technical skill, her knowledge of general cat health has been a real comfort, she notices things, asks the right questions, and adjusts to how he is feeling on any given day rather than just going through the motions. On his harder days she reads him perfectly and knows when to take what he will allow instead of forcing a struggle, which matters enormously with a fragile cat. All of my cats are comfortable with her, including the shy ones, and she is gentle, patient, reliable, and communicates wonderfully after every visit. Caring for a chronically ill pet is stressful, and finding someone you can trust with actual medical care in your home is rare. Savannah is that person. I recommend her without a single reservation, especially for anyone whose pet needs medication, fluids, or just genuinely attentive and caring hands.

We’re so lucky we found Laila on Rover. We had a last minute weekend trip and she took so much of the stress off knowing our boy was going to be well taken care of. She went above and beyond with his walks and cuddles and even sent us quite a bit of pictures while we were gone. We could tell our pup had a good, long weekend with his new friend. We were even greeted by a sweet note when we got home, proving she was the best sitter. Boady is already looking forward to his next adventure with her!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
