About: I’ve always taken care of pets since I was a kid when friends or family went out of town. I love my own dog like my best friend and I always love playing with him and taking care of him. I’ve trained my dogs myself and I always love it! Happy to help in any way you may need. I work on tuesdays and thursdays and as a musician I play piano in my free time. I’m free 24/7 except for tuesday’s and thursday’s which i’m free after 2pm! At home I have a fence, a nice vest and leash for my very muscular dog, and I have trained him to where he’s capable of being off leash and at my side while walking!

About: I’ve cared for dogs my entire life and have hands on experience with puppies, high energy dogs, and caring for multiple dogs at once. I work part time at a dog grooming shop as a bather, I interact with many different dogs. What sets me apart is my patience, attentiveness, and ability to adapt to each dog’s unique personality and routine. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, bathing, basic training reinforcement, and giving dogs plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. I genuinely treat every pet like my own and focus on making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while their owners are away. Pet care fits into my schedule as I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible but structured routine. I’m able to balance my job while still making time for pet care during my off days, mornings, evenings, and weekends. I’m reliable with planning ahead so I can make sure each pet gets consistent attention, walks, and care without feeling rushed. Even with a part-time job, I prioritize being fully present and dependable when I’m caring for animals. In my client’s home, I always follow their instructions closely to keep pets comfortable in their normal routine. I make sure pets are safe, supervised, and never left unattended for long periods. I keep water fresh, follow feeding schedules, and provide regular walks, playtime, and attention. I’m careful with doors, leashes, and any safety concerns to prevent escapes or accidents. I also respect the home by keeping it clean, organized, and treating it with care, just like I would my own.

Kelly Lea did a phenomenal job caring my two kitties. They were well fed, and kept so happy with playtime and treats. It’s great to be able to enjoy your time away when you know that your fur babies are taken care off by such a caring and wonderful person as Kelly Lea. She kept us updated on their well being with messages and photos. She was on time to every visit even when she needed to adjust one of the visit times. Rest assured we will definitely book Kelly Lea for future needs, what a great experience for all.

About: I’ve been surrounded by cats my whole life and bring a calm, patient vibe to every visit—but I love dogs just as much, so tail wags are always welcome too! I take time to get to know each pet’s unique personality, whether that means cozy cuddles, zoomie-fueled playtime, or just being a reassuring presence while you’re away. Expect plenty of pets, play, fresh food and water, and a sparkling clean litter box for cats—or fun walks, outdoor time, and belly rubs for dogs. Based in Cincinnati, I offer pet sitting and drop-ins across the metro area. My flexible schedule (and free weekends!) means I can stick closely to your pet’s routine. I’m experienced with oral and topical medications and treat every furry friend like my own—because they deserve nothing less 🐾 I'm currently on the hunt for a new Agency position, so my days and weeks are completely free currently. Able to be booked at any time. I tailor my care to each pet and the service you choose, because every animal has their own routine and personality. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping things as familiar and stress-free as possible—sticking closely to feeding schedules, walk routines, and favorite playtime activities. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, along with fresh food and water, and I keep their spaces clean (litter boxes, food areas, etc.). For dogs, that usually means walks, outdoor time, and lots of play (plus belly rubs, of course). For cats, I match their vibe—whether that’s interactive play or just quiet companionship and gentle pets. I’m also experienced with oral and topical medications and always keep an eye on behavior and health, so I can catch anything unusual early. I treat every home with respect and every pet like they’re my own, and I’m happy to send updates and photos so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands.

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. As a mom to three of my own, I know doggos are a part of the family. I specialize with large dogs and bully breeds, but I've never met a dog I didn't instantly love! I can do walks, playtime, drop ins, house sitting, cuddles, feeding routines, administering basic medications, or simply keeping your dog company while you're away. I would make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I'll care for your dog(s) as if they were my own and keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages for peace of mind. Caring for my dogs isn't something I squeeze into my schedule, it's already a part of my everyday life. With full availability and my house already centered around my own dogs, I have the time and flexibility to provide attentive care, regular exercise, playtime, and lots of cuddles. I have a full open flexible schedule. As a dog mom myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. They'll get plenty of attention, belly rubs, playtime, and love. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel comfortable, relaxed, and cared for every step of the way.

She spent plenty of time with our cats at each visit and took plenty of pictures to make sure they got some love and attention. On top of all that, she seemed like a genuine and caring person. As of July 2026, there are 2,396 sitters on Rover offering Pet Sitting across Lapel. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Lapel stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lapel. On Rover:

  • 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
