“Rachel was the perfect person to stop over and walk my two dogs! She is clearly very knowledgeable and comfortable with all different pet personalities and behaviors. One of my dogs can sometimes show aggressive behavior to other vehicles/pedestrians on walks, and Rachel handled him with the utmost care, responsibility, and comfortability. I trusted her so much with my dogs and felt very reassured leaving them in great hands. She’s very dependable and excellent at communicating. We loved her consistent updates and photos! Will definitely be using Rachel again!”

About: I've had dogs for most of my life, I love going for long walks and playing fetch. My schedule is very flexible and I'm able to accommodate their needs! I'm an incoming college freshman at UW Madison, and I'm using pet-sitting as my sole job for this summer, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your fur babies! I have a lot of love to give to your pets, animals have a special place in my heart. I would love to take your pup for long walks in Lapham Peak or any other park!

“Stephanie has cared for our golden retriever on 3 separate occasions. Her loving care for our dog, combined with her professionalism and excellent communication, are exemplary. We will call on Stephanie again in the future and recommend her in the highest terms possible.”

About: I grew up with dogs and have had an extensive career in the Animal Health Industry, selling veterinary pharmaceuticals for 25 years, and also working as a client services representative at a busy emergency and referral veterinary center. Not only did I grow up with dogs but I have had my own dogs as an adult, which I actually got because the family I was sitting for could no longer keep them and asked if I would like to make it a permanent situation. I cared for both of them into their senior years and became proficient at managing their medical conditions that arose from aging (diabetes and canine cognitive disorder). My two boys required very extensive care and routine insulin administration for my diabetic as well as additional medications that I became very proficient in administering, even if they were particular about taking pills, etc. I am very knowledgeable in how to manage multiple dogs at once, how to keep dogs safe in various environments, and a good eye for anything that may indicate they may not be feeling their best. When I had my guys, I would often trade sitting and walking favors with my fellow dog owners so I have had a lot of experience sitting for and walking other dogs throughout my life. My goal is to give peace of mind to dog owners that they can go on vacation, business trips, day trips, or just out anywhere, and they will know that their dog is in great, loving hands. I am currently working full-time but I am off on Thursdays and Fridays and I can also take on pets in the evenings after work. When sitting for your pet I can take them out on my lunch hour if necessary. I would follow any requests that you have in order to make your pet as comfortable as they are when you are there. I am very familiar with local walking trails and parks that are pet friendly.

About: My experience working with dogs in the doggy daycare setting has given me many skills to apply into my dog sitting role! I have cared for dogs from itty bitty 5 pounds all the way to 150+ pounds! I also have experience administering medications to dogs including liquid form and pill form. I have mastered the task of hiding the pills well in special treats to where they don’t even notice! I have personally cared for my own senior dog who was on multiple medications daily, and needed special attention to specific details. I would love to meet you and your furry friends, and make sure they feel loved and cared for while you’re away! Pet care works into my daily routine as my schedule is set and very flexible, allowing me to do short drop ins throughout the day if needed or would best suit a puppy who needs those extra potty breaks! With my in home care , I strive to make the transition of “pawrents” leaving and me coming in as smooth and seamless as possible! I have a set schedule that I can work around thought the day. I am happy to follow a daily schedule that your pup is used to so they don’t get overwhelmed or stressed. I strive to send multiple pictures a day and give frequent updates. I care for pets the same way I would my own family furry friends!

About: Hi! I’m Taylor, a 23 year old dog lover and proud dog mom to a sweet 4.5 year old black lab who is my absolute best friend. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always been second nature to me. From puppies to seniors, I’ve loved every stage and can’t imagine a life without them. As a college student with a flexible schedule, I’m available throughout the day for drop‑ins and walks to make sure your pets are cared for, exercised, and happy while you’re away. Whether it’s a quick potty break, some playtime, or a nice long walk, I treat every dog like my own with lots of love, patience, and attention included. I’m dependable, communicative, and take pride in making sure every pet gets the attention and care they need, so you don’t need to worry while you’re away from fur baby’s. I have plenty of availability to work around your pet’s needs. I’m usually free in the mornings before 10 am and after 2 pm. This makes it easy for me to fit in morning walks, afternoon drop‑ins, or anything in between. When caring for pets in their own home, I make sure to follow their usual routines as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. I provide fresh water, feed them according to their schedule, and take them out for walks or potty breaks as needed. I also spend time playing, offering affection, and giving them the attention they’re used to from their family. If there are any special instructions, like medication, dietary needs, or preferred walking routes, I make sure to follow them exactly. My goal is always to keep pets happy, healthy, and stress free while you’re away.

“Jenny was so kind to my puppy. My puppy loved walking with her, she took Streator care of him and he came back happy and tired. She was great about stopping for water breaks on a hot day. She was also so flexible when I had a last minute schedule change. Highly recommend!”

About: I've been around animals all my life, from guinea pigs and rabbits, to cats and dogs, to even giant sea turtles! I worked in the veterinary industry for about 10 years as well as a summer at the Milwaukee County Zoo in the Aquatic and Reptile Building. I am comfortable with medication for most animals, fear free handling if needed, but I'm also willing to take my time with more shy pets. I currently have a lab mix who is about 70 lbs, two cats with different medical concerns, and an 11 year old rabbit. As far as my own pets, I do all the care for them in my home. For my working schedule, I am available most mornings after 7:15 am until 2 pm during the week. I am able to do some weekends as well, depending on the situation. I know dogs who are runners well, as my dog very much one! We do not have a fenced in yard, but I have a tie out for my dog, as well as a leash and harness for her for walks and car trips (as well as a seatbelt!). I understand the stress of putting someone in charge of your pets and the care that must be taken. I will always put your pets safety first and make sure all the clips, locks, and bolts are secure before leaving the home.

“Very sweet to the puppy and takes her on good length walk. Also takes her out back to potty if she doesn’t go on the walk (which she never likes doing). Also is great about coordinating times.”

Taylor K.
“Taylor has watched our pup numerous times over the last few years. She is our first go to whenever we’re looking for care. She comes to the house which keeps Penny, our coonhound, comfortable in her own space. Taylor is responsive, pleasant, and great with Penny. You can tell she has a love and passion for animals. I didn’t feel comfortable boarding our pet and now we don’t have to. I know Penny is in good hands and having Taylor watch her gives me the peace of mind I need. Plus you can tell Penny loves her too, she gets so excited seeing Taylor come to the door - she knows it’s time to play!”
