About: I've taken care of many dogs and cats over the years of all shapes and sizes. Up to 5 animals at one time in the past. I lost my last pet and want to help others while I grieve. I recently returned to Northern Michigan after the passing of my father to help my mother. Had to leave corporate job and looking for a happier pace of life and to give back to animals, who saved my life during a difficult time. I love walks and live right by the bike trails and near several parks. I also love cuddling on the couch and allow animals on the furniture if they're allowed to in their home. I would treat them like my own and follow any and all rules/restrictions to the letter. I always want to meet the pet and the family beforehand so everyone feels comfortable. I'm an open book and just like helping people. Ask any and all questions needed please!

About: Hi, I'm Meghan! a lifelong animal lover that you can count on. Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I've grown up with a variety of animals including: dogs (both big and small), cats (both outgoing and timid), as well as even the smallest of pets (like hamsters, bunnies, snakes, fish, and lizards) and I truly believe our pets are family. While most of my experience comes from caring for my own animals, I'm attentive, patient, and committed to following any and all instructions to keep your pet safe and happy while you're away. This includes any specific routines, medications, or favorite toys. I'll make sure everything runs smoothly just the way they like it. Whether you need someone to drop in, go for a walk, or provide overnight care, I'd love to help. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pets with someone new and I promise to treat them like my own. I'm comfortable with all types of personalities and would welcome a meet-and-greet to learn more about your needs! I work part-time over the summer but I still have availability for early mornings, afternoons, evenings drop-ins/walks and overnights on most days depending on location. Your pets comfort and safety come first - especially in their own home. I take great care to follow any and all instructions closely so your pet can stick to their normal routine like feeding schedules, potty breaks, medications or playtime.

About: I have been around animals since a very young age. I grew up having to care for my dogs, cats, horses, cows, and sheep! I participated in 4-H for 10 years showing both cattle and sheep. Throughout high school and college I worked at a doggy day care, that cared for both cats and dogs, either for day visits or overnight stays. I was responsible for making sure the animals were as comfortable as possible. This involved cleaning their kennels daily, feeding, and medications. Later, I worked as a veterinary assistant for 6 months. I have house/dog and cat sat for various friends and family members throughout the years as well. I am very flexible! I am more than happy to stay at your home while pet sitting or simply come by to care for the pet a couple times a day. Open to working with you to figure out the best solution for your pet. Unfortunately my current lease does not allow pets. I am more than happy to work with you and figure out a schedule/plan that would fit your needs! While I am at a clients house I would stay in good communication with them. In the past, I have sent daily pet photos to the client and sending them updates whenever possible.

About: Not only have I grown up with pets my whole life, I have made a living out of taking care of them. It was my calling as a young child to become a Veterinarian. I started Pet Well Mobile Vet, the area's only mobile veterinary service, in 2021 to help bring a better level of quality to pet care after seeing how much more relaxed my friend's pets were when I took care of them in their homes. Building that bond through pet sitting is much the same thing. Pets get individualized care and you get peace of mind. As the mobile veterinarian, I can schedule my days as needed. I have the flexibility to do mid-day meals or walk, if needed. I'm almost always done working by 6pm to make sure everyone gets dinner on time and then some evening playtime. All pets will be cared for as if they are my own. I encourage pet parents to write up the normal routine for their baby so I can stick to it as much as possible. I love to send pictures and updates. (I would want them if the roles were reversed.) I also have the ability to care for medical issues that arise during the stay, only with the pet parent's permission of course.

About: I have had pets of my own for the past 38 years, since I was 12 years old. I also have a degree in biology and chemistry and have worked in animal hospitals and zoos. My husband, Scott, has had pets all his life. We treat our pets with the love and care that family members deserve, and we take our responsibility to them very seriously. Currently, we have a 2 year old black lab who absolutely loves all other animals, and a 14 year old cat who mostly sleeps in quiet, dark places. Our dog, Rosie, is always looking for new friends and is very submissive with them. She just wants to play and snuggle! Our children are grown and help with the care of them. Our house is full of pet lovers! We are very active and love to go for hikes, and we always keep dogs on their leash on the trails. We're happy to take your doggy to the dog park, as well, if you request it. You can have total peace of mind while your pup stays with us! I currently work part time and Scott, my husband, is a teacher and has summers off. I'm home a lot during the entire year, and we're both home on weekends. We have a fenced in backyard for running around and playing fetch. We have a large house and a fenced in yard where our dog, Rosie, loves to run around or playing fetch with us. We regularly go for walks in the neighborhood and hikes in the woods or on the beach. We love to take Rosie to the dog park, but will skip it if you're not comfortable with it. Scott is a teacher and has weekends and all summer free. Stephanie works part time, mostly from home and is at home most of the time during the week and is also available weekends. We have a large fenced yard and a wonderful Labrador retriever to keep your fur baby happy! We love giving dogs love and attention! We also love to take walks if that is something your dog enjoys.

About: I've worked at a doggy daycare and boarding. I have learned so many things about animals at my time spent there and they make me so happy. Being around animals is the best feeling in the world. So far my schedule is really open at this point in time. I have Wednesdays and Thursdays off. I would like to be notified early if plans change. I will care for the pets in the clients home and walk the dogs as well. I will ask the client if they have any special routines for their pet and how they feed them.

About: With over 10 years of experience in dog walking, dog sitting, and house sitting, I’ve had the pleasure of building lasting relationships with my clients. I spent about 6 years caring for a client’s dog while they traveled to Peru, providing daily walks, feeding, and plant care, until they relocated to New Mexico. I also cared for another client’s two dogs for over a year, walking them daily and keeping their home in order. For another client, I would take their dog on hikes in the woods nearby every weekday while they were at work. I’m happy to offer flexible services like plant care as well—watering and tending to your plants while you’re away. You’ll always receive regular check-ins with photos to keep you connected and reassured. Whether its dog walks, house sitting, or plant care, I’m here to make sure your pets feel loved and your home runs smoothly. As a self-employed individual with a flexible schedule, I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pup! I'm committed to prioritizing my bookings and ensuring your dog gets the care and exercise they need. Whether you have a specific routine or unique needs, I’m happy to work with you to create a customized plan. I also offer long-term services for ongoing care and peace of mind. Safety, Trust & Environment When caring for pets in my home or your home, I always prioritize safety first. I carefully check the space for any potential hazards and ensure everything is secure, from doors and gates to any items that could be dangerous. You can trust that your pet will be in a safe, accident-free environment. Trust is key in building a strong connection with both pets and their owners. I keep you updated with regular check-ins, so you always know how your pet is doing. If you have any questions or concerns, I’m always here to address them and offer peace of mind. As for the environment, I treat your pet’s space like it’s my own. I ensure their home remains clean and comfortable, following their usual routines to make them feel at ease. I make sure they have access to their favorite places to relax, along with food and water, so they feel as comfortable and secure as they would when you're home.

Jordan H.
“Jordan is an animal-lover and an excellent pet caregiver. She cared for my dog Pepper when I was away on vacation. I felt so relieved that my sweet girl was being well taken care of and loved while I was gone. Jordan treats the pets in her care like they are her own. She gives each pet respect, love and attention. Jordan also has a background in veterinary medicine, working as a vet tech for multiple years, which put my mind at ease. I will certainly be asking Jordan to watch Pepper again and I would recommend her pet care-giving services to everyone!”

Megan W.

“Stephanie took care of two cats for over a week while I was out of town. One of them is a senior cat with a few health conditions. She administered daily injections, heart medicine and various supplements throughout the day. She kept me informed at all times. She is very caring and compassionate towards the animals. The way she handled my cat and how comfortable she felt administering the injections shows her prior experience working with veterinary care. I 100% recommend her.”

She takes her job very seriously she is punctual, professional, polite, flexible, and always has the best interest in mind for my dog and working with me as well. I trust her, she’s very detail oriented, my dog has created a bond with her or maybe it’s all the treats he gets. Haha but I know he is safe when she is taking care of him and that’s all that matter.
