My house is good sized with a full finished basement, so plenty of room for them to roam and find a place they feel most comfortable. There are no "rules" here when it comes to furniture or beds, I always welcome cuddles! I will gladly crate your pet, on your request, if needed and provided.

Currently, I work part-time Tuesday's and Thursday's. So, during the week I'm usually free Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's all day/night and on Tuesdays & Thursday's for early morning walks and feedings and in the afternoon after 3pm for walks, feedings and slumber parties! (I work from 9am-3pm) Let's talk about it! I'll make it work out well for all of us! To ensure a happy and safe environment for all, I always like to schedule meet & greets prior to booking new pets to sit, walk and hang out with. I can go to your home to take care of your pets! I can stop by for walks, feedings and/or just to hang out! I can even spend the night! And they are welcome to stay at my pet friendly home! I just don't have a fenced in yard but I do own and acre with lots of running and walking room and places for potty breaks and I'm really close to walking paths and sidewalks for daily strolls!

About: Not only have I grown up with pets my whole life, I have made a living out of taking care of them. It was my calling as a young child to become a Veterinarian. I started Pet Well Mobile Vet, the area's only mobile veterinary service, in 2021 to help bring a better level of quality to pet care after seeing how much more relaxed my friend's pets were when I took care of them in their homes. Building that bond through pet sitting is much the same thing, pets get individualized care and you get peace of mind. As the mobile veterinarian, I can schedule my days as needed. I have the flexibility to do mid-day meals or walk, if needed. I'm almost always done working by 6pm to make sure everyone gets dinner on time and then some evening playtime. All pets will be cared for as if they are my own. I encourage pet parents to write up the normal routine for their baby so I can stick to it as much as possible. I love to send pictures and updates. (I would want them if the roles were reversed.) I also have to ability to care for medical issues that arise during the stay, only with the pet parent's permission of course.

I recently returned to Northern Michigan after the passing of my father to help my mother. About: I've taken care of dogs for over 20 years - my own, neighbors, siblings/grand dogs. I feel their energy and love and give it back. I am a retired school social worker so am very flexible with time. I love to walk and be active and if I have a pet to provide care for - my day feels more purposeful. I would care for pets in a client's home by making sure they get at least 2 walks a day and outside time morning and night. If they stayed in my home I live next to a preserve and a state park. They would get lots of outside time - even in the winter - and lots of love.
About: I've been around dogs and cats my whole life. I naturally connect with animals. I am comfortable around all dogs. I have two dogs now, and went through a puppy class with one of them, and then did extensive training with him for his first year. They are both "good dogs". I fostered dogs with a local shelter until I foster failed, and I have also previously volunteered at another shelter, walking the dogs and just spending time with them. I need to work around my daughter's school schedule, so I am available M-F 9am-2pm. End time will depend on how far it is from her school. I have two dogs that love other dogs. I clean residential homes during the day, so most days I’m gone for 3-5 hours (starting around 10/11am). My schedule tends to be more flexible in the colder months.
