About: Animals are an absolute passion for me. I have shared space for many felines and two pups – all are extremely well taken care of. I am able to provide the same amount of love and care for your pups, as I do it for my own. My comprehension of the needs of pets, especially those of dogs, is outstanding – from feeding them food with the right nutrients to daily excersize and interaction. With my compassionate and caring nature, and familiarity with the basic needs of animals, I have the ability to care for your pet perfectly. I am available most day's to care for your fur babies. Please find my schedule and please reach out if you have more questions. Thank you Currently not available for any type of overnight or boarding services. This may change in the future with housing needs . Thank you for understanding.
About: Not only have I grown up with pets my whole life, I have made a living out of taking care of them. It was my calling as a young child to become a Veterinarian. I started Pet Well Mobile Vet, the area's only mobile veterinary service, in 2021 to help bring a better level of quality to pet care after seeing how much more relaxed my friend's pets were when I took care of them in their homes. Building that bond through pet sitting is much the same thing. Pets get individualized care and you get peace of mind. As the mobile veterinarian, I can schedule my days as needed. I have the flexibility to do mid-day meals or walk, if needed. I'm almost always done working by 6pm to make sure everyone gets dinner on time and then some evening playtime. All pets will be cared for as if they are my own. I encourage pet parents to write up the normal routine for their baby so I can stick to it as much as possible. I love to send pictures and updates. (I would want them if the roles were reversed.) I also have the ability to care for medical issues that arise during the stay, only with the pet parent's permission of course.
About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I grew up on a farm and have dog sat for friends and family since I was 12. I have both experienced training a puppy of my own and also taking care of a senior dog. I like being active and outside so I would love to take you dogs for walks and play with them while you are gone. I have 1 dog of my own, she is a very energetic cane corso! I’m currently a college student so I have a very flexible schedule with 2 hours in between some of my classes. On weekdays I would mostly be available for drop in’s. To let your pets outside and play with them until I need to get back school. Fridays and weekends I am completely free. I do not have a fenced in yard. I have lots of land so I trained my dog with an invisible fence so she knows not to wonder off with a human with her. My dog does have her own room that acts as a crate.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life. I grew up with a husky and German shepherds. I can handle most to all pet personalities and love forming unique bonds to keep them relaxed and comfortable while you are away. I work from home so including your fur baby into my day and working around any special needs they may require will not be an issue Plenty of land for proper exercise and play, empty hardwood bedroom to keep pet structured but they will have free access to my entire home, which will be clean and free of any potential hazards.

About: I've used sitters through this site in Michigan for my little girl, Kiera Marie.-It was great! I've done lots of dog sitting and dog fostering too. Living in beautiful Northern Michigan, I can't think of a more beautiful area to dog walk! I'm available to take your dog for walks-let’s set up a schedule! I'm also happy to dog sit in either one of our homes. I am always willing to fit a furbaby into my schedule. I have experience with large and small breeds. I am also comfortable sitting for multiple dogs. I have worked with restricted diets and behavioural issues. I have a soft spot for all dogs and I look forward to talking with you soon! My husband and I both work part-time, so one of us can always be with the pups! We will adhere to any feeding schedule that your family is accustomed to. I have a fully fenced in yard for your pup to enjoy the great outdoors! We’ll enjoy many walks and cuddles!! If your pup enjoys it we have plenty of toys to play fetch with too. Your pup will be treated like family! My schedule is extremely flexible. I can accommodate just about any arrangement that you need. Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Advance. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route , the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.
The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in Advance after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.
Have specific details you would like included? Message your dog walker in the app before the walk begins.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
