About: I have had family dogs my whole life. At home, I currently have a black lab (Bella), a white lab/ridgeback/pitbull mix (Tilly), and a cat (Brody)! While at school, my roommate had a pitbull mix (Gordy). I frequently dog sit for a family friends for a week+ at a time & always fall in love with their dog(s). Can’t wait to do the same with your dog(s)!! I have had pets my whole life. I have 2 dogs and a cat at home (Charlevoix). I also lived with my roommates dog while in GR. I make sure my dogs are well cared for, well taken care of, and very much loved.

I have also worked with dogs that have had traumatic pasts and have spent time working with them to trust their environment and other people. I am a teacher so I have summers off and weekends free. About: I work at Little Traverse Bay Humane Society as an animal caregiver. I’ve been to exposed to all kinds of dogs and cats. I have experience with animal meds, animal behavior, animal training, and the care for them as well. I’ve handled all ages of animals from very young to old. On our private 20-acre property, dogs have the space to decompress, explore safely, and enjoy a peaceful environment while still receiving individualized guidance and close supervision. While we do have 20 acres that we can walk through we also have a fenced in area and GPS Fence collars for your dog to use. Depending on the training your dog has been through we can work with you to see what fits best. I am a full time mom who homeschools her kid. My husband is home part time so most of the time we are home if not pup will be crated. I have a fenced in yard and a pet safe GPS collar for the pups. So no matter what the pup will be secured. There is no gate to leave the fenced in area so to leave you have to go through the house.

Living in beautiful Northern Michigan, I can't think of a more beautiful area to dog walk! I'm available to take your dog for walks-let’s set up a schedule! About: I have been around animals since a very young age. I grew up having to care for my dogs, cats, horses, cows, and sheep! I participated in 4-H for 10 years showing both cattle and sheep. Throughout high school and college I worked at a doggy day care, that cared for both cats and dogs, either for day visits or overnight stays. I was responsible for making sure the animals were as comfortable as possible. This involved cleaning their kennels daily, feeding, and medications. Later, I worked as a veterinary assistant for 6 months. I have house/dog and cat sat for various friends and family members throughout the years as well. I am very flexible! I am more than happy to stay at your home while pet sitting or simply come by to care for the pet a couple times a day. Open to working with you to figure out the best solution for your pet. Unfortunately my current lease does not allow pets. I am more than happy to work with you and figure out a schedule/plan that would fit your needs! While I am at a clients house I would stay in good communication with them. In the past, I have sent daily pet photos to the client and sending them updates whenever possible.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
