“We were Extremely happy with our experience with Dorothy. She was very flexible about meeting with us for the meet & greet and has a very warm and caring disposition that quickly put my husband and I both at ease. Not only did she take excellent care of Cinco during multiple daily drop-in visits over the course of 5 days, she was very forthcoming with us about Cinco's initial weariness of her (this is typical of Cinco) during the 1st couple of visits and how Cinco did warm up to her over time. This could also be seen in the pics she sent as the latter ones showed our sweet girl resting her head on Dorothy's lap appearing, clearly, very much at ease. And, although it was certainly not expected for her to do so, Dorothy alerted my spouse & about a weather-related problem issue she observed with our garage that was being built at the time and sent us a pic of something that had fallen down which she had not observed during earlier drop-in visits. After alerting us, she even offered to have her spouse come to secure the fallen piece for us if that would be of help until our return...which he did! So, I really can't say enough positive things about this lady as she was not only conscientious with regard to the pet sitting for which she was hired, but also demonstrated genuine concern for our property as well. We would definitely book with Dorothy again and would recommend her to others.”

About: I work at Little Traverse Bay Humane Society as an animal caregiver. I’ve been to exposed to all kinds of dogs and cats. I have experience with animal meds, animal behavior, animal training, and the care for them as well. I’ve handled all ages of animals from very young to old. I have also grown up with multiple pets including cats, dogs, reptiles, and rodents. I love all animals and I always make sure that I give the animal the best care possible. I’m currently working part-time at LTBHS. And I am going to school for Zoology! I would love as much experience with animals as I can get! I only work two days a week, so I have a very open schedule to work with! I have lots of experience in cleanliness of animals. As working at the shelter has given me hours upon hours of cleaning experience. I follow directions extremely well and take everything seriously. I understand these animals are your children and will always treat them like my own. I have experience in different temperaments and know how to safely handle them!
