Because my schedule is flexible, I can often accommodate different routines, whether your pet needs an early morning potty break, midday walk, afternoon playtime, evening visit, or more consistent care throughout the day. I do my best to maintain each pet’s normal feeding, exercise, potty, medication, and sleep schedule so their routine is disrupted as little as possible while you’re away. I also have my own dog, Flicka, so caring for animals is already a part of my everyday life! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow all instructions you provide regarding feeding, medications, potty routines, walks, behavioral needs, household rules, and anything else that helps your pet feel comfortable and secure. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both your home and your pet’s established routine. I make sure doors, gates, leashes, harnesses, and other safety measures are secure, and I never assume that every animal has the same needs or comfort level. For pets staying in my home, I have my own dog, Flicka. Because every dog has a different personality, I want to make sure everyone will be comfortable together before an extended stay. Introductions and meet-and-greets are very important to me. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos while your pet is in my care. I know how reassuring it is to see that your pet is safe, happy, and being well cared for while you’re away.
