“Having recently moved to the area, and after struggling in our previous homes (Carlsbad, CA and Las Vegas) to find Rover sitters who actually cared for our dogs the way we requested (and paid for), we are delighted that we found Mindy for our first overnight away from the dogs in our new home. Although our dogs don't require 24-hour care, they are used to my husband and I working from home and being around most of the time, and we try not to leave them alone for more than 3-5 hours when we go on family outings. Mindy also works remotely and was happy to commit to hanging out at the house the whole holiday weekend. I usually leave a note for the sitter reiterating everything discussed at the meet-and-greet, but I ran out of time to get one done for Mindy before our camping trip. She remembered everything without the note and was quick to respond to texts alerting her to things I forgot to mention in person. Mindy took photos and videos of the dogs throughout the day to document what they were up to; at my request, she just sent me a compilation video at the end of each day, but I know she's willing to send more frequent updates if that's the owner's preference. On the last day of her stay, Mindy emailed me a summary of her observations over the weekend, including meals, walks, potty habits, and playtime behavior, as well as detailing things she loved about their personalities. Though we were already sold on her as our favorite sitter of all time, this email recap provided a huge sense of assurance that we had left the dogs with someone who really cared for them and paid as much attention to their wellbeing as we do. In the past, we've been able to tell when a sitter hadn't fulfilled their duty of care because the dogs were incredible anxious and clingy upon our return. When we arrived home last Sunday, Mindy was still here, and they dogs were the most relaxed they have ever been after we were away. They were excited to greet us, but quickly went back to happily lazing around the house. We have already booked Mindy for another trip next weekend and hope she's always available when we need her!”

“This was the first time for Alena to take care of Booker and everything went very well. We initially had Alena over for a meet and greet and upon her return a few days later Booker was very happy to see her. Alena even took Booker for a walk which he always enjoys. Alena followed our instructions and communicated when we inquired. We are just visiting Lake Tahoe for the summer and needed a sitter for our 100lb Bernese Mountain dog and Alena did a fantastic job. Looking forward to using her when needed.”

“Denise is amazing!! We've had a hard time finding someone to give our Bernese Mountain Dog the time, care, and attention he needs but Denise has been fantastic with him! She is able to stay at our house full time, which helps with his separation anxiety, and handles his walks with ease. On top of that, she gives him all the love and cuddles he wants. I highly recommend Denise!”

“Leo did a wonderful job with our two dogs! We had a very quick turn around trip and Leo was able to house sit with such short notice was great. Our dogs seemed very happy upon our arrival. Our home was left extremely clean and as we left it. We will definitely book Leo in the future. Thanks Leo!”

About: Growing up I've always had dogs in the house. I love all animals and tend to get along with all sorts of animals. Except for snakes. Currently a full time student at Sonora. Desert institute for gunsmithing. I have plenty of free time to look after your pet and make sure they're comfortable while you're away. Fully fenced in yard, plenty of space to run around, and a loving environment. I am a veteran as well who would always gravitate towards service animals while I was in the Navy.

“Gabriel was absolutely incredible. We’ve had bad luck in the past when it comes to leaving our two fur babies for vacation, work or otherwise. Gabriel was so accommodating and communicative, it really helped our separation anxiety. Our puppies absolutely love him and all the walks and cuddles he provides. We can’t thank him enough for allowing us to break away for a while.”

About: Growing up , I always loved caring for friends/families pets. In 2017 , my life changed when I got my first dog of my own, Sky the mini Aussie. Sky inspired me to start my own business , Mindful Pets, that I successfully operated from 2019-2024. I offered a range of services, from private walks , pack adventures, and in home pet sitting. In the 5 years of running my own pet care business, I loved weaving in my mindfulness practices, and invested in continued pet care education ; certified professional pet sitter with PSI , Pack Leader Blueprint , and Pet CPR / First Aid certified. You can rely on consistency in the care that I provide your pets , always ensuring their safety , well being, and having fun exploring new hiking trails or snuggling on the couch. Book your visit with me and guarantee a peace of mind your pets will be cared for by a professional. My schedule is completely open for pet care, depending on your pets needs / schedule , will determine the level of care I offer. I love taking pups out for fun adventures or caring for your feline pets in the comfort of their home. To minimize your pets stress , you can expect me to stay in your home. This helps keep your pets on their normal routine and environment and ensure they're happy and comfortable while the family is away.
