They treated our dogs like their own and sent us lots of updates, photos and videos of our dogs during their stay. Our dogs looked SO HAPPY and clearly LOVED Gina and Erik. During a thunderstorm, one of our dogs was scared and Gina made a rub of essentials oils to help calm him, and Erik gave him hugs on the couch. “I was visiting Lake Tahoe but staying at a timeshare that doesn't allow dogs, so I booked Teeda and her husband Richard to pet sit my dog Teddy in their home. They were phenomenal! Not only did they take Teddy on hikes and to the beach every day, and send lots of photos, but they also were EXTREMELY accommodating. They were super flexible about letting me take Teddy out on several days--in fact one morning when I called to ask about picking him up, and they were already driving him to another lake for an outing, they even offered to turn around. But the most amazing thing was that on the last day, due to a crazy-early flight that my travel companion had booked out of Sacramento Int'l airport, we had to pick Teddy up at 3:45 in the morning (!!!). I felt terrible about this, but Teeda was very cheerful about it and was ready at the door before I knocked. I can't recommend Teeda & Richard enough!”

I provide care for the pets by taking them on walks, and following any other normal care that the pet would typically require. I have 2 five year old german shepherds, as well as a 13 year old cat, so I am well equipped in dealing with multiple pets as well.

“This review is long overdue! Gina and Erik watched our two golden retrievers while in Tahoe for a family gathering in May 2023. They treated our dogs like their own and sent us lots of updates, photos and videos of our dogs during their stay. Our dogs looked SO HAPPY and clearly LOVED Gina and Erik. During a thunderstorm, one of our dogs was scared and Gina made a rub of essentials oils to help calm him, and Erik gave him hugs on the couch. “I was visiting Lake Tahoe but staying at a timeshare that doesn't allow dogs, so I booked Teeda and her husband Richard to pet sit my dog Teddy in their home. They were phenomenal! Not only did they take Teddy on hikes and to the beach every day, and send lots of photos, but they also were EXTREMELY accommodating. They were super flexible about letting me take Teddy out on several days--in fact one morning when I called to ask about picking him up, and they were already driving him to another lake for an outing, they even offered to turn around. But the most amazing thing was that on the last day, due to a crazy-early flight that my travel companion had booked out of Sacramento Int'l airport, we had to pick Teddy up at 3:45 in the morning (!!!). I felt terrible about this, but Teeda was very cheerful about it and was ready at the door before I knocked. I can't recommend Teeda & Richard enough!”

About: I have over 20 years of experience caring for pets, including senior dogs who need extra patience, attention, and gentle care. I understand that every pet is unique and deserves love, respect, and personalized care. I can provide walks, playtime, feeding, basic medications, and lots of affection. I treat every pet like family, so you can have peace of mind knowing they're in caring and reliable hands. I work tuesday through saturday normally, but in slow season I work since Wednesday to Saturday...I have availability before and after work, as well as on Sundays and Mondays. I'm happy to provide walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care when my schedule allows. I'll always communicate clearly and make sure your pet receives the attention, love, and care they deserve. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, medications, walks, and routines to help your pet feel safe and relaxed. I always keep a clean, calm environment, provide plenty of attention and affection, and treat every pet with the same love and respect I give my own.
