About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. Right now I have a Beagle and a German Shepherd so I’m used to caring for all dogs of different sizes. I’ve dog sat for people in my town and I am able to flex my schedule to meet the specific needs of your dog. I’m currently a college student, student teaching full time. So I am at a school from 8-3 Monday- Friday and off the weekends. I have a big yard at my home, which provides plenty of room for fetch. I have two dogs that are very friendly to new dogs. About: Aside from growing up caring for animals, I’ve worked at a dog daycare for about a year. During my time there I learned a lot about dog behavior and how to read their body language. Now, I am currently studying canine training and management at SUNY Cobleskill where I work with a variety of canine’s daily. I’ve helped house train puppies, trained my own dogs, walked both chihuahua-sized dogs and Great Danes, babysat for pit bulls and other rescues with high anxiety who need special care and attention around other people and animals, and have also cared for sick cats and dogs, including cooking special meals for them, giving saline injections to a cat with kidney disease, and administering meds and therapeutic treatments for sick and/or senior cats and dogs. I’ve also had to wash a few dogs down with Tecnu after getting sprayed by skunks (!) and tended to lots of belly aches, bug bites and other mild issues that can befall any kind of pup. I genuinely love spending time with dogs of all kinds and think they are the greatest blessing on earth.
