She’s experienced in reactive dogs, is patient, and incredibly flexible with all the different dogs and scenarios and my lack of memory that I have thrown at her. She also follows any training I’m working on at the time in order to remain consistent to our dog. I can’t recommend her enough and my dog(s) are obsessed with her.”

About: As someone who has had pets in the home for as long as I can remember, I know it is important for them to be in a loving, patient, and attentive environment and I thrive in providing environments that are such! While I’m currently a full-time college student at Samford University, during the summer months when school is not in session, I find myself having more free-time than usual to care for pets I have a large fenced in backyard and only two cats inside the home. I make sure that the pets that I care for have enough space of their own but are also attended to closely.

About: I have had dogs my entire life, starting to seriously take care of my first dog when I was 10. I’ve worked at several animal related jobs, such as a dog daycare, a pet store, and I worked on a farm for several months in 2021. I have petsit for neighbors and friends for years. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I love dogs deeply and know how to work well with them. Pets need routines just as much as humans do for a sense of calm and safety. To continue to keep your (our) fur baby safe I will keep trash cans covered or inside a latched cabinet. Move all chemicals to high shelves or behind secure doors. Keep cords, chargers, and other potentially harmful items out of reach.

About: I’m Jessica! Sitter and caregiver to your pets! I also do short term fostering and am a cat kennel assistant volunteer at the Greater Birmingham Humane Society. My husband and I have two dogs, Maki (Brindle Belgian Malinois mix) & Turbo (American Staffordshire Terrier/Black Lab mix) who are sweet, goofy, smart babies. Totally spoiled! I live in a neighborhood perfect for walking your pup. I also enjoy hiking the trails at ruffner mountain. I offer cuddles and companionship for the pup or kitty that prefers laps and affection over walks or hikes. I don’t mind sitting at my home or yours. I stay home and have a very flexible schedule. This allows me to give a lot of attention to your pet and accommodate most plans! Respect to pets in their home is always given on my part. It’s your pets home and they should always feel safe! I have a fenced back yard and two friendly pups that love to play. I also have indoor crates for mine and guests to be safely separated.
