I live in Elkridge, Maryland and work full-time Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM. My days start early at 6:30 AM with a walk and breakfast for my dog before I head out for work. I’m usually home by 4:30 PM and immediately shift my focus to my pup — making sure he gets his bathroom break, dinner, and quality playtime. We always end the night with one last pee break before bed. I’ve always loved animals, and since I don’t have children of my own, I treat every pet with the same care, attention, and love I’d give my own child. I don’t work weekends, so I’m home all day and usually spending time with my dog and husband — whether we’re out exploring or relaxing at home. I’m dependable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure every pet in my care feels safe, happy, and loved. How I care for pets in my home and/or my client's home: Whether I'm caring for pets in my own home or in a client’s home, my top priority is creating a safe, calm, and loving environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely — including feeding schedules, bathroom breaks, walks, medication (if needed), and playtime — to help them feel secure and at ease. In my home, pets have a clean, quiet space to relax and are never left unattended for long periods. My dog is friendly and gets along well with other pets, especially cats. I keep everything neat and organized, and I make sure each pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. In a client’s home, I treat the space with respect and care, keeping things clean and following all instructions closely. I make sure pets are comfortable and stick to their familiar routines to reduce stress while you're away. No matter the setting, I treat every pet as if they were my own.

About: I've take care of multiple different dog breeds ranging from Chihuahuas to Rottweilers. I've also been around different types of dogs ranging from puppies to older dogs that have had medical problems. My schedule is open for the most part and I'm almost always around. My schedule is open for the most part as I am not in school currently. There isn't a whole lot that I need to do currently so I would be able to take care of the dogs most days of the week. The way I care for my pet is I check to make sure whether or not they need to use the bathroom once every hour. I also tend to play with the dog for around two hours out of the day. I walk the dog for about half an hour to an hour depending on the weather. And lastly I have a set time period of when I feed the dog.

We were in a pinch when our usual cat sitter fell through a day before our overseas trip, and Ashley came over for a meet and greet that evening and then stopped by to look after our kitten twice a day while we were gone. She was very flexible when we needed to change the timing a couple times. And she drew our shy kitten out of his shell by playing with him. We will definitely hire Ashley again the next time we need someone to look after our cat.”
