They aren’t bad but because they have traumatic pasts they are fearful of strangers. We truly felt like we had a friend watching them with Max. He was compassionate and so patient with them. They barked at him for over an hour after we left but he continued to try to win them over and he did! He was able to walk them and he even hand fed Parker because he won’t eat without being hand fed sometimes. We will be able to go out of town now that we met Max. He communicated so well and sent so many pictures. Our hearts melted when we saw him holding our most difficult dog, Parker. Thanks Max!”

About: Hello, my name is Angela and I'm 23 years old. I’ve always had dogs and cats all my life. Recently my dog had diabetes, so I was able to give insulin to him when he needed it. My parents also relied on me whenever they went on vacations, I was always taken care of their cats for them. Right now I’m currently unemployed at the moment. So, I’m available at anytime at the day. I’m currently doing DoorDash at the moment. But, I can do walk in, drop in visits, and house sitting at anytime or any day! I do currently have a dog of my own, so if I were to do house sitting, I can for sure work around that, just please let me know ahead of time. At my house I do have a small backyard with a fence all around, but inside I do have a cat, but she is super shy and may get scared around other male dogs and cats. I also have a dog of my own and her name is Bear and she’s a chocolate lab/pit bull mix

About: I care for every pet like my own, because if it was me, I would want someone to do the same. With my own senior dog I have extra care and patience to fit all their needs I currently work 7:30-4 Monday through Thursday. So my best availability is at night or during the weekends! Availability can vary depending on request and location. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I am able to take your fur baby out on a leash if necessary, although caring for your pet at their own home would be preferred!

About: I've had a dog in my house from the day I was born, so I've cared for high-energy puppies all the way up to seniors who need special food, medications, patience, and love. I've been pet-sitting for friends and family ever since high school (and immediately locating the animals at any social function forever); I love to get to know each creature I meet and learn how they like to be shown affection. I'm currently working on finding more regular part-time employment, but at the moment, my days are free to take care of your little creatures! I love to participate in community theatre, so when I'm in a show, I might be gone for a few hours during the evenings for rehearsal, but I will update my calendar/communicate accordingly. I fully respect the homes people trust me to watch as well as the critters living in them. I find I'm able to make myself at home pretty much anywhere and leave the space as I found it.

“My babies are my children and I’m a nervous wreck about leaving them with anyone just for a few hours, let alone a 9 day trip! Shannon stayed in my home and cared for my three animals the whole time and I couldn’t be more happy with how she cared for them. We even have a pet camera and were able to check in from time to time and she treated my home respectfully, my animals as her own, and kept in contact with me as much as I needed! She was never annoyed at how much I wanted to keep in contact, respected how I wanted my animals cared for and just followed through with everything. I truly can’t say enough great things about Shannon and will be using her to care for our babies as long as she’s willing! Shannon is extremely flexible, kind, so so sweet, and a huge animal lover. My animals loved her and clung to her from the second they met and I just couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for them! I truly could go on forever with how pleased I am.
