Shannon stayed in my home and cared for my three animals the whole time and I couldn’t be more happy with how she cared for them. We even have a pet camera and were able to check in from time to time and she treated my home respectfully, my animals as her own, and kept in contact with me as much as I needed! She was never annoyed at how much I wanted to keep in contact, respected how I wanted my animals cared for and just followed through with everything. I truly can’t say enough great things about Shannon and will be using her to care for our babies as long as she’s willing! Shannon is extremely flexible, kind, so so sweet, and a huge animal lover. My animals loved her and clung to her from the second they met and I just couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for them! I truly could go on forever with how pleased I am. About: I have house trained several puppies in my life. I am great with high energy’s dogs or dogs with medical needs. I have a large house and yard that is set deep in the woods off of a dirt road and have access to 20 acres next door to take them on walks as well as 10+ acres in my immediate yard. I have one dog of my own. She is a German shepherd who’s 3, she has her vaccinations as well as being registered. I am willing to look for all dogs young to old. I also have pet pads if needed due to accidents and several rooms and gates If the dogs I’m sitting aren’t accustomed to other dogs. I have 2 children, both have been raised with dogs But will not be interacting with your dog until they become comfortable. Please no dogs with a bite record or Aggression. No un spayed male dogs over one due to marking issues and aggression. I am a stay at home mom who’s currently doing online college, so I am pretty much always available unless I’m booked full. Just looking to make some extra Money in my free time. I have a very large yard. It Isn’t fenced but sets on close To 30 acres of woods so your dog will need to be leash walked. My home is off of a dirt road so traffic is no concern. I have one family dog and 3 cats, my dog and cats get along. My pets are fixed as well as vaccinated. Very loved and cared for.

About: I've taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. We've always had at least one dog in our household and previously had a cat. I have also walked other dogs and have taken care of dogs here on my own. I have experience handling large and small dogs and do not get worried if the dog gets worked up. I am very aware of how empathetic dogs are and can remain calm. I also can keep to a schedule and give pets the love and care they need and deserve. I'm currently working at Bronner's outside of Rover, from 8-4:30 three days a week. This would just mean that for Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, I will be unable to provide services during those times but can still do so outside of then or even feed a pet in the morning before leaving and after I return. It changes depending on what is needed, but I prioritize the pet's safety, and the client's home condition. Leaving the place as it was when I arrived, if not better is a priority of mine, as I hate leaving messes. I always follow medical instructions.

There will be lots of walks, cuddles, kisses and have full access to our home as if they are one of my own animals ❤️ *we recently put in a fence, so your pups will have more room to play and can stay safe! I have two dogs of my own, Boon & Tristney. They are both lovers, but Boon is still a puppy, so he loves to play! Tristney, she loves love, hugs, and belly rubs. She's a shy girl and likely won't play, but always enjoys a companion on our daily walks. We also have a cat- but he spends most of his time outside. Its unlikely he'll make an appearance, but when he does it's mainly for dinner. As a 22 pound cat, he never misses a meal. If I am not home at anytime I do have a teen and a husband that help fill in any gaps of time. The two of them are also big animal lovers and are incredibly helpful.

“I thought I knew what a 5 star pet sitter was like, but Makayla has set a new standard! Our 2 cats and 2 dogs were WELL taken care of. One of our pitties can have door aggression, but after a meet and greet we found a way for Makayla to safely come and go while we were away. By the end of the trip, the anxious pittie was Makayla’s shadow. We got daily updates and pictures. Makayla knows how to take care of anxious pets AND their anxious pet-parents. We will absolutely be scheduling our next vacation around Makayla’s availability.”

I have watched over many pets over the past seven or so years and understand the importance of having someone to trust to watch your baby while you’re gone, so you can vacay stress-free. I do office work Monday-Friday’s… meaning I am typically pretty flexible during weekends! I also get out at a reasonable time of 5pm (or even 1pm some days) and am frequently available after. I enjoy petsitting in the client’s home, so the pet is comfortable being in their own space. I am detail-oriented and will follow the instructions, I will let the pet out as needed, pick up BM’s, scoop litter, refill water dishes, and I offer lots of play time!
