“My babies are my children and I’m a nervous wreck about leaving them with anyone just for a few hours, let alone a 9 day trip! Shannon stayed in my home and cared for my three animals the whole time and I couldn’t be more happy with how she cared for them. We even have a pet camera and were able to check in from time to time and she treated my home respectfully, my animals as her own, and kept in contact with me as much as I needed! She was never annoyed at how much I wanted to keep in contact, respected how I wanted my animals cared for and just followed through with everything. I truly can’t say enough great things about Shannon and will be using her to care for our babies as long as she’s willing! Shannon is extremely flexible, kind, so so sweet, and a huge animal lover. My animals loved her and clung to her from the second they met and I just couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for them! I truly could go on forever with how pleased I am. About: I've worked with animals off all kinds, ages, sizes, and requirements since I was 10. Everyone i know comes to me for pet help/care. I take a special intrest in training. I currently have a border collie mix who i practice sports such as agility and bikjoring. She also love trick training and obedience training. I was in a vet course in high school for two years so I've got plenty of experience with all sizes and species of animals. There i learn how to give oral medication, signs of parasites/disease, dog body language and the importance of mental & physical stimulation that sent me on my way to being a dog nerd. My job has me working weekends during the slow season and being an active person I need something to fill my off time. So I have Monday- Thursday to work with your schedule. I have worked with reactive animals as well as own one so im exceptional at dog body language and i focus on making a dogs walk/Visit as stress-free as possible. My experience with reactive dogs helps me stay patient and calm in stressful situations.

About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. About: I've taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. We've always had at least one dog in our household and also currently live with a cat. I have also walked other dogs and have taken care of dogs here on my own. I currently am unemployed and am not yet in school so my schedule is completely open. The only issue that I might have for these next few months would be an issue with scheduling with the rest of my household. I have experience handling large and small dogs and do not get worried if the dog gets worked up. I am very aware of how empathetic dogs are and can remain calm. I also can keep to a schedule and give pets the love and care they need and deserve.
