About: I have experience with many animals including dogs, cats, exotics, and farm animals! I’m an aspiring veterinarian with a true passion for animals. I have hundreds of hours of experience shadowing my local veterinarian, intermediate dog walking at my local animal shelter, and pet sitting. I’m currently a commuting college student who has availability before/after school that allows me to take care of pets in my free time! I am currently on summer break, but starting August 26th, I am able to let dogs out every 5-7 hours on weekdays and every 6-8.5 hours on weekends. I am very vigilant when it comes to the safety and wellbeing of the animals in my care. I treat your babies like my own and am quick to alert you if something feels wrong!

About: I have taken care of my own dog since I was 13 (walking, feeding, brushing, playing, etc.) and have volunteered at my local animal shelter for three years helping them get adopted. I have also pet-sitted many times for friends and family. I love all pets and would love to meet some more! I am currently on a break from studying at university so I have a lot of free time until late september! I am looking for a part-time job but not one that will take up too much time so that I can still provide my services. I am very experienced in walking dogs (especially in this scolding heat) as well as giving them all their basic needs and attention. I love going on long hikes/walks with dogs if that is ever something that they would like. I have also volunteered with cats and owned one as a child so I am well versed on all their needs! I will make sure all pets as given a lot of affection (if they like that)!

“Taylor was SUCH a fantastic sitter and went over and above to make sure our Hobbes was perfectly taken care of. She took him on multiple walks, sent us numerous updates and photos, and spent plenty of time making sure he was well loved. She also followed all of our instructions to a T. We’ve used a few different sitters in the past, but this was our first time using Rover. We seriously lucked out, Taylor is the best and we HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for dog sitting! Thank you again for loving our guy so well, Taylor! You’re our go-to sitter from now on.”

About: I’ve been an animal lover all my life, especially dogs. I grew up with dogs and have owned 2 during my 33 years of marriage and 2 now grown children. We raised a golden retriever from puppy to 13 years of age and a miniature dachshund who was with us for 15 years. I also love keeping our granddog Prince who is a 6 year old Australian Shepherd. I miss having a dog of our own, but as we are empty nesters, we find ourselves traveling often. So as you can see I need a dog fix every so often and I promise your dog would be treated with much love and affection. I am a firm believer that they are an important part of the family. If a dog can smile, you can bet that yours will be coming and going with one on it’s face. I’m retired so my routine is flexible and can be modified to the needs of each dog I care for. My husband also works from home quite often so extra care is provided if needed. I have no children or pets in my home so each pet will be treated and cared for with the utmost care and love as appropriate. I have a fenced in backyard and safe neighborhood with sidewalks for leash walking. I also have access to a secluded field with trails in our neighborhood for more active dogs. I love to walk so exercise is not a challenge or concern for your dog. I also have an open floor plan living area where on occasion I play with my grand dog if going outside is not possible. So safety and enjoyment are both a priority.

“Ashley could not have been nicer with our little guy (and with us too!). She sat for my mother’s Yorkie-Poo and he loved her. She has a wonderful way about her. She is kind, responsible and v responsive. We will use her again. She’s great!”

“Brianne is absolutely fabulous! We are so thrilled anytime she is available to sit for our two rescue pups. She has worked hard to gain the trust of our deaf senior dog, and both of our dogs LOVE her. She is a fantastic communicator, sends regular photos and updates, and she is such a kind person. She always leaves our house in sparkling condition and goes above and beyond by taking out the trash, etc. THANK YOU, Brianne! The best!”

“Jennifer was the best sitter for my Fendi and Gucci. I got daily updates with pictures and videos at least twice a day. The pups looked so happy every time. My girl Fendi is very skittish and shy and she warmed up to her right away! I was very nervous of leaving them while I was on vacation because last time they were boarded Gucci was attacked and I wanted to find a new alternative for them and I’m so glad I found Jennifer! She also made sure my potted flowers were watered and my for my mail for me as well. I’m so pleased with her!”

“Gwen went above and beyond. Got regular pics of the dogs who seemed to be loving their time. She followed instructions really well and kept us informed. Good experience and treated the dogs and the house like her own. Will definitely be using her again!”

About: My family has fostered dogs for the past few years, and we’ve had at least one family dog since I was born. I pet sit for my neighbors and family friends often, both cats and dogs alike, and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities! On the daily I take care of my family dogs. I take them on morning walks, make sure they don’t eat each other’s food, and give them PLENTY of play time, pets, and loves! I’m also well-versed in caring for anxious dogs, as our medium-size dog is very nervous at most hours of the day. I don’t believe in using fear tactics to punish dogs, such as time-outs or spraying them with water. Instead, I promote positive behaviors by engaging with them happily and giving them treats (if permitted) when they do something they’re supposed to do! With my clients, I take pets on walks or do a scheduled play time for as long as is requested, and I make sure they’re comfortable and fed every time I visit! If overnight or all-day stay is needed for particularly clingy pets, I’m completely open to discussing hours for that, and will never leave a pet alone or push it away if it needs a person there!
