I can't recommend Dianne enough! My cat, Peanut, is extremely shy and anxious around people, but she made her feel completely comfortable and cared for. It was clear that Dianne has a genuine love for animals and knows how to approach even the most nervous pets with patience and kindness. I felt confident leaving my Turkish Van cat in her care and will absolutely be booking again!

About: I have a dog of my own, an Australian shepherd named Lady. I have taken care of a few dogs before and I quite enjoy it. I love and enjoy walking dogs. I also enjoy cats as well. I have had a cat for about 16 years. she was my very first pet ever to have. She has been with me since I was a baby. Sadly she passed in August of 2021. I can do the weekends from anytime. I can stop by after 6 o’clock to check up on your furry friends. But normally the weekends is when I’m free. I make sure that the dog or dogs are fed and taken care of course. I follow the owner's details and rules. I am very patient and outgoing and also a very active person.

I had the pleasure of booking house-sitting with Kia for my senior dog and a foster dog for two weeks. Kia communicated well, sent multiple pictures from her visits and was able to provide additional care, medications and exercise for my senior dog in my absence. We had an emergency at the house and Kia made me aware and made herself available for contractors to come and repair the issues. Her work ethic and ability to communicate are both very professional and exceptional I would rebook with Kia and recommend this Rover without hesitation. You can tell that Kia truly cares for the pets.

I booked Rylee to housesit and take care of my 3 month old puppy for nine days. I was nervous to leave my new, very young puppy with someone, but Rylee put me at ease, sending pictures and videos every day and giving me updates. I highly recommend Rylee and would book her again in the future!

I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, cats, and other household pets. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, a consistent routine, or simply companionship, I tailor my care to their individual needs. I’m patient with senior pets, attentive to medication schedules and special instructions, and committed to maintaining the routines that help pets feel safe and comfortable. In addition to pet care, I take pride in keeping a clean, secure, and well-maintained home. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and respectful of your property. I’ll provide regular updates, photos, and prompt communication so you always know how your pets are doing. As a mature, responsible professional, I understand the importance of trust, reliability, and treating your pets and home with the same care and respect I would expect for my own. Pet care fits well into my schedule. I work a four-day week, with two days working remotely and two days in the office, which gives me flexibility to provide attentive, dependable care. On my remote workdays, I’m home throughout the day for companionship, walks, playtime, feeding, and potty breaks. On office days, I plan my schedule carefully to ensure pets receive the care and attention they need before and after work. My evenings and weekends are generally open, allowing me to dedicate quality time to pet sitting, house sitting, overnight stays, and maintaining your pet’s normal routine. I understand how important consistency is, and I’m committed to providing reliable, loving care while you’re away. Safety, security, and your pet’s well-being are always my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or providing drop-in visits, I take the time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs so they feel comfortable and secure. I carefully follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and household routines. I ensure doors, gates, and windows are secure, keep a close eye on your pet during walks and outdoor time, and maintain a clean, safe environment at all times. I also understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust. I’ll treat your home with the utmost respect, keep everything tidy, bring in mail or packages if requested, water plants, and provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets and home are being cared for with the same attention and respect I would give my own.

About: Hello, Y'all! I'm a self-employed mother of two grown boys who are at College and Middle School. I'm a Certified Vet Technician with credentials from UTA and references from two great Veterinarians in the Metroplex. I absolutely adore animals I have tendencies of rescuing strays and finding homes for them. We always welcome wagging tails and small or big paws into our home. I have experience in caring for geriatric dogs, injured or sick dogs. With anything from administering medications to bandaging and plenty of love to give. Although my main source of income is Real Estate my passion has always been in animals. I understand the frustration with boarding and leaving a pet at home. I would love to help and care for your fur babies while you are away. I’ll arrange my schedule to the appointments and clients that book me. I’m available for early morning walks to late evening drop ins, I work in Rover into my schedule. Let me know what your pet requires and I’m very flexible and understanding to help in any way. If you need specific accommodations please let me know.

Jennifer is the best sitter you can have. This was our first time using her while out of town. My dog requires meds and has severe anxiety and he was so calm and comfortable with her. She kept us updated daily with videos and pics which made us more relaxed. The puppers unexpectedly needed some stitches a few days before our trip and required some extra care and Jennifer was absolutely great about it and did all the extra needed things. We had pre visits due to his anxiety and she came to these and walked him. She walked him 2 times a day while we were gone and he loved it. My neighbors raved how great Jennifer is. I am afraid she will be booked the next time I need her because she is highly sought out. Not only did she take great care of my puppers she washed her bedding and remade the bed. She swept the floors and took out the trash. I really cannot say enough good things about her. We are so greatful we were able to find her.

About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is my genuine love for dogs and the way they respond to me in return. I take time to understand each dog’s personality, build trust, and make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and safe while their owners are away Pet care is at the center of my daily and weekly routine. I plan my days around feeding, walking, playtime, and check-ins to make sure every pet gets the time and attention they need. I’m fully available for regular visits and last-minute bookings. Caring for animals isn’t something I fit into my schedule — it is my schedule. At home, my own dog enjoys frequent walks, playtime, and plenty of treats — and I bring that same energy and attention to every pet I look after. Whether I’m providing care in a familiar environment or welcoming a new furry friend into my home, I focus on creating a fun, caring, and reliable experience

Liz was fantastic! She sent pictures daily, kept in the loop, and made sure we knew our babies were in good hands. Our dogs aren't overly difficult to care for, but Liz kept in constant contact with us, which is very important to us. She took such good care of them, that after we got home, they spent the first evening looking for her and whining because she had left. 10/ 10. Will continue to use Liz any time we need a dogsitter.

About: I have had cats as pets my whole life and dogs as an adult. I have been pet sitting for about 6 years to dogs from puppies to seniors. Times have ranged from weekends to a month. I started fostering kittens when covid hit. I have found joy in caring for animals with all their different personalities. I have become experienced in all things kittens : bottle feeding , tube feeding administering medicine (my neighbor will even call me to give her pets pills) flea baths ringworm baths, brushing teeth you name it . I have even had to help kittens cross the rainbow bridge. It has been bitter sweet , but the love they give is more then enough. All animals deserve the best treatment and love we can give them I have been in education for 34 years teaching art and an administrator for the Fine Arts Department. I am retired now and have a lot of free time to spend with my favorite animals. I have found pet sitting and fostering to be very rewarding and someday would like to start my own fostering service. I have recently started rehabbing opossums, which is quite fun and much different than our tamer than our average 4 legged friends My job is flexible enough that i can leave for lunch and take care of your pets in the middle of the day as well. I have three cats that have been around lots of dog and cat “visitors” . Fostering cats has helped, … oh here comes another friend

I cannot recommend Miranda enough! This was my very first time using a house sitter, so I was naturally nervous about leaving my two Mini Australian Shepherds, Luna and Ozzy, for an entire week. From the very first meet-and-greet, Miranda was incredibly patient and kind. Luna is very reactive and usually barks at strangers, but after that first meeting she completely trusted Miranda, which says so much about the way she connects with dogs. Throughout the week, Miranda went above and beyond in every possible way. She took Luna and Ozzy on two walks every day, gave them endless cuddles and playtime, and even remembered that I mentioned Luna loves bubbles. She surprised her by bringing her own bubbles just so they could play together, and she also brought treats for both of my babies. It was such a thoughtful gesture that truly showed how much she cared. One thing that really stood out was how knowledgeable she is about dog behavior. She taught me techniques to help redirect Luna’s reactive barking, and I already know those tips will make a huge difference for us moving forward. During one of their walks, two unleashed dogs ran toward Luna and Ozzy in what could have been a very dangerous situation. Miranda immediately stepped in, putting herself between my dogs and the other dogs to protect them. Thanks to her quick thinking and calm response, Luna and Ozzy came home without a single scratch. She called me immediately afterward, explained exactly what had happened, and kept me informed every step of the way. Knowing she handled such a stressful situation with such professionalism and care gave me incredible peace of mind. Every single day I received detailed updates, along with plenty of pictures and videos, so I always knew how my babies were doing. She also treated my home with the utmost respect, keeping everything clean and taking wonderful care of it while I was away. Miranda didn’t just care for my dogs—she loved them as if they were her own. She even slept with them every night to make them feel safe and comfortable. That level of compassion is something you simply can’t teach. I honestly feel like I found my forever dog sitter. I have absolutely no plans to look for anyone else. Miranda has earned not only my trust, but also Luna’s and Ozzy’s, and that means everything to me. Thank you, Miranda, for caring for my babies with so much love, for handling every situation with such a positive attitude, and for giving me complete peace of mind while I was away. We are beyond grateful for you!

FAQs for House Sitting - Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of September 2026, there are 2,951 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth. On Rover:

  • 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
