Ann was absolutely incredible! Our English Bulldogs can be a bit high-maintenance, but she took exceptional care of them. She stayed in constant communication while we were away, sending daily updates, photos, and videos. Seeing how much fun they were having made it so much easier for us to relax on our trip. She even went above and beyond by helping prepare our home for the winter storm that hit while we were gone. Ann was truly a blessing, and our boys already can't wait to see her again 😊

About: I’ve owned animals of many kinds since I was born, and been a primary caretaker since I was about 10! I’ve been trusted to care for animals of every age - from rambunctious puppies and kittens to seniors who need a little more patience - and every size, whether it be a giant dog or a fragile kitten. I understand the importance of individual care, so I am ready to learn all about your animals and adapt to their needs. Additionally, I am a Certified Veterinary Assistant and have experience with many basic care skills. I am familiar with routine care such as feeding routines, walking, bathing, and training. I have ample experience with oral, injectable, and topical medications, and can confidently administer first aid if necessary. Additionally, I am ready to slow down and give extra care to any senior or special needs animal who may need a little more attention. I hope to make every pet feel as safe and comfortable as possible while in my care, and will make sure to keep you updated with pictures! I currently don’t work, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pets. They can have my full attention, I can make frequent visits, or just drop by every once in a while, whatever works best! Saturdays I am not available for walks, but I am happy to sit through the weekend if needed! While I don’t offer sitting in my home due to my own dogs, I am confident I can adapt to whatever routine your animals are used to in your home. Whether they are high maintenance or totally chill, I am willing to provide whatever necessary to make sitting as stress-free as possible!

About: Hi All! I'm Amanda and I love all Animals, but my biggest weakness is Dogs! I've grown up with them my entire life and just enjoy being in their company. When I'm not working, I enjoy being with family, friends, and of course my own furbaby! I have experience with Diabetic dogs, Medication administration, puppies and Seniors. I'm currently working in Valet and I have busy seasons and slow. Some days I only work mornings with the rest of the afternoon/evening free, and some some days I work evenings with mornings/afternoons free. I am always home overnights. My home does have a fenced in yard. I also have an XL kennel and Medium kennel if the clients dog requires to be kenneled at night. My dog, Piper, is a free roamer but she is crate trained. I also provide a big basket full of toys, a doggy playpen, variety of treats, and blankets.

We received updates and felt completely at ease knowing our pups were in good hands. We would definitely book again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!

We were able to enjoy our trip and not worry about the pups. The house was just as we left it when we returned. Thank you so much Tara!

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, literally since the day I was born. My experience spans dogs, cats, birds, horses, donkeys, goats, and rabbits, giving me a deep understanding of animals with very different personalities, needs, and routines. I began fostering animals at 12 years old alongside my mom, helping care for them and place them into loving forever homes. My first job was as an in home pet sitter, and I immediately fell in love with providing animals the consistent care, attention, and comfort they need while their families are away. For over 10 years, I managed a farm, which taught me how to confidently handle multiple animals at once, follow detailed care routines, and stay calm, observant, and organized in dynamic environments. While I have years of hands on experience, my love and respect for animals has always come first. As a pet parent myself, I understand the anxiety that can come with leaving your pets in someone else’s care. Because of that, I’m intentional about clear communication, regular updates, and treating every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your pet is safe, loved, and in caring hands while you’re away. I’m currently working remote so my schedule always is very flexible. I can provide multiple potty breaks through out the day and I also enjoy taking pets on a mid day walk. I have a fenced in yard, two friendly dogs and a quiet neighborhood perfect for our daily walks. Crating is also available per your request.

Kelley is an absolute fantastic dog and house sitter!! I now only book vacations around Kelley’s availability to care for our two dogs and stay at our house. We get several Dog photos a day and as any dog owner knows, you can simply SEE in your pet’s face and eyes that they are absolutely happy!!! Our dogs are high energy and they are very well cared for, they get a great amount of exercise, they lie around completely calm because they are comfortable with Kelley, they are fed exactly as you’d prefer, and they’ll sleep in your preferred locations. Kelley also monitors their health and will share pictures and ask questions, and she’ll administer medicine if needed. Kelley’s Rover profile is 100% accurate (not to mention, our house is spotless when we return), she loves animals in general, and loves dogs. Any of your animals will be loved and very well taken care of with the absolute best care when booking Kelley!!!

About: Lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience raising 4 dogs, 2 cats, and rescuing local strays. Reliable, attentive care tailored to your pet's needs I work entirely on a flexible freelance schedule, allowing me to easily fit drop-in visits into my morning, afternoon, or evening routine. Because my calendar is open, I can accommodate last-minute requests, holiday visits, or consistent daily check-ins to make sure your babies are never left waiting. I provide highly attentive care strictly inside the client's home to keep both dogs and cats safe and comfortable in their own familiar territory. For dog walks and visits, I focus on safe leashing, fun exercise around the neighborhood, and refreshing water. For cat drop-ins, I carefully follow exact feeding guidelines and thoroughly scoop litter boxes. About: As a lifelong dog and cat owner with four years of dedicated pet-sitting experience, I provide attentive, personalized care tailored to your pet's unique routine and personality. Over the years, I have successfully managed a wide range of real-world scenarios, from maintaining strict potty-training and crate schedules for energetic puppies to providing gentle, patient care for senior dogs who require frequent bathroom breaks and strict, time-sensitive medication administration. I love high-energy breeds that need structured exercise, but I am equally skilled with cats, sharing my home with a few of my own and confidently handling all types of feline behavior. Whether your cat is a clever escape artist requiring strict doorway vigilance, or a sassier kitty who tends to bite and scratch, I know how to read their body language, respect their boundaries, and keep them safe and comfortable. When your pets are with me, you can rest easy knowing they are receiving the highest level of reliable, vigilant, and loving care. I work part-time as a barista, which gives me incredible flexibility throughout the day to dedicate to your pets. Because my schedule is adaptable, I can easily adjust my sleeping and waking hours to match whatever routine your animal needs. You won't have to worry about disrupted routines or missed doses. Whether I am caring for pets in my own home or yours, my primary goal is to provide a loving, calm, and predictable environment where they can truly thrive. I focus on creating a balanced routine that offers plenty of dedicated, high-energy playtime to burn off steam, paired with lots of peaceful downtime for them to rest and relax. I mirror their usual home environment as closely as possible to minimize anxiety, ensuring they feel completely safe, loved, and right at home.

Stephanie saved us when we had a late cancellation two days before we were scheduled to leave out of state for Christmas. Upon our meet and greet, Stephanie was friendly with my dogs and receptive to all the information about my dogs and even took a walk with us. While my husband ended up staying home because we have an elderly dog, with doggie dementia, who took a fall the day before we were scheduled to leave, we hired Stephanie to come to the house daily to play, exercise, and feed my two dogs so my husband could get out of the house for a bit. She did a fantastic job and the dogs were always happy to see her and sad when she left. My husband said both dogs were tired and slept when he returned home. Finding Stephanie on such short notice was truly a blessing and I hope to hire her again in the future.

FAQs for House Sitting - Eagle Mountain

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Eagle Mountain on Rover is $33.44 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 3,092 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Eagle Mountain. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Eagle Mountain walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Eagle Mountain maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Eagle Mountain choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Eagle Mountain. On Rover:

  • 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
