About: I have had dogs and cats all my life including a pet rat. For some reason animals tend to like me and I like them as well. I have had to put down three pets in the last two years, very hard thing to do. I had 4 dogs and two cats, sadly down to one each. I’m retired and available anytime during the day. If there are some odd hours it can be discussed. If you pet needs me to walk them and or clean a litter box that will be no problem. I will be glad to send photos during my visit if needed. My yard is fully fenced with rod iron fencing, if the dog is small they might get out but doubtful. I prefer not to keep your pet at my house at this time.

Between caring for my own dogs, my family’s, and friend’s, I’ve come to be very familiar with their routines, needs, and behavior. My experience with applied behavior analysis lends tremendously to successful training techniques. I take pride in maintaining clean environments, administering meds, and being undeterred by big dogs. My experience as a nanny gives me a unique understanding of working in your most private space. Special instructions are always followed with care and love. I am currently starting my new job as a water safety instructor! My availability may change while I am in training, but I am still open for drop-ins and walks. Unfortunately, due to the needs of my own rescue cat, I am not available to provide overnight boarding services in my residence at this time.

Lauren was amazing!! I have two high-energy dogs who absolutely love to play, and Lauren did such a great job keeping them happy and entertained. She played with them plenty, sent lots of updates and pictures, and was so great with communication throughout her stay. I really appreciated how attentive and caring she was with both of them. Stephanie saved us when we had a late cancellation two days before we were scheduled to leave out of state for Christmas. Upon our meet and greet, Stephanie was friendly with my dogs and receptive to all the information about my dogs and even took a walk with us. While my husband ended up staying home because we have an elderly dog, with doggie dementia, who took a fall the day before we were scheduled to leave, we hired Stephanie to come to the house daily to play, exercise, and feed my two dogs so my husband could get out of the house for a bit. She did a fantastic job and the dogs were always happy to see her and sad when she left. My husband said both dogs were tired and slept when he returned home. Finding Stephanie on such short notice was truly a blessing and I hope to hire her again in the future.
