“Lauren was wonderful watching out for our cat, Sookie! She always sent great pictures and updates about how she was doing, making me feel good knowing she was in the best hands!”

About: I’ve had both cats & dogs my entire life, caring for them at every stage. I also have work experience at a doggie daycare, where I cared for dogs during boarding stays, daytime play, bathing & those with extra needs :) no dog (or cat) is too big or small, I love them all! My schedule is flexible at this time, I can work with a pet parents needs to ensure their furbabies are taken care of! Early walks, daytime check ins, etc can all be accommodated. A consistent schedule is best for a pet when a new person comes in to take care, which is what I aim to provide to clients. Any quirks, routines or additional info I need to make your pets feel safe & taken care of I will gladly implement!
About: Hey there! I'm Emma White & I'm an outgoing, goofy pet lover. Since I was little, I've had a special place in my heart for animals. I'm comfortable caring for a wide variety of animals & getting to know their individual personalities, routines, & needs. I've cared for dogs, cats, fish, frogs, lizards, turtles, guinea pigs, chickens, & goats. I love getting outside, playing, & giving pets plenty of attention. I'm no stranger to nervous or shy pets, so I understand the importance of patience, consistency, & building trust at their own pace. I also have personal experience with large breeds, including English Mastiffs & Great Danes (they're secretly just big babies!). I have experience caring for pets with additional needs, including GI issues, allergies, vision or hearing impairments, & special dietary requirements. I'm comfortable following specific feeding instructions, medication schedules, & other care routines. I'm also Animal CPR certified, so I understand how to properly care for unexpected situations. I want you to feel just as comfortable as your pet does, so I provide regular updates & photos to keep you in the loop & give you peace of mind while you're away. Whether your pet needs an energetic playmate, a patient companion, or simply someone reliable to keep them happy, comfortable, & cared for, I'd love the opportunity to meet them! I have a pretty flexible schedule working from home. I’m able to make time for walks, playtime, feeding, & check-ins. I’m also happy to work around a pet’s normal routine & make sure they get the consistency & care they’re used to! I like to keep pets as close to their normal routine as possible, especially when they’re staying in their own home. Whether sticking to specific feeding times, medications, walks, or other care routines, I focus on not missing any details. During drop-ins, I make sure to provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, & companionship rather than simply checking in and leaving. For house sitting, I treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own. I keep things tidy, follow any household instructions, and ensure pets feel comfortable & cared for. You can expect regular updates & photos so you know your pets & home are in good hands.

“Had a wonderful experience with Sophia! She graciously accepted to check in on our 3 cats on short notice and did so great! She was reliable, followed our instructions and gave us peace of mind while away from our babies. Would definitely book again in the future.”

“Laurel is amazing! So prompt, sweet, professional, and goes out of her way for your pets! We can absolutely trust that we have reliable and trustworthy care every time we reach out. She also truly cares about you and your pets. I can’t thank you enough for your help!”

“Hannah did amazing with our dogs. She was either on time or early every time to go let them out and took very good care of them. She kept me updated every time she went over there and if she wasn’t sure about something instead of just doing it, she asked me what I would do which I really really appreciated. If you have the opportunity definitely book with her she’s amazing.”

“I don't see how anyone could ever not love Melissa! My dogs warmed up to her faster than any other sitter we've hired. She was very thorough and sent a lot of pictures. She left the house clean and my dog was very content when we got home! Would refer her to my friends and use her again. Thanks.”

About: My Pet Care Experience 🐾 Animals have always been a big part of my life. I was raised around smaller dogs, so that’s what I grew up knowing first. As I got older, I started being around bigger breeds too, and over time I got just as comfortable with them. I’ve also grown up around horses, fish, rabbits, and different kinds of animals, so being around animals has always felt natural to me. A lot of what I know about dogs comes from actually growing up with them—seeing their different personalities, learning their routines, understanding when they want attention and when they need their space, and learning how much they rely on the people taking care of them. I’ve gotten to experience the fun parts of raising animals, but I’ve also experienced what it’s like to lose one. Going through that made me realize even more how much these animals become a part of your life. Because of that, when I take care of someone’s pet, I don’t look at them as just another dog I’m watching. I think about how I would want my own pets to be treated if I wasn’t there. I want them to feel comfortable with me, keep their normal routine, and have someone around who genuinely enjoys being with them. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. I’m able to plan my schedule around my clients’ needs and make sure I have enough time to provide each pet with consistent, attentive care. I’m dependable, organized, and flexible with scheduling. I prioritize keeping every pet safe, comfortable, and cared for. In a client’s home, I follow their instructions, respect their space, and keep their pets’ routines consistent. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs while providing a calm, loving environment.
“Ana was fantastic as always! Her recaps and photos after each visit are so thorough and appreciated. I know without a doubt that our pup is in the best of hands when Ana is with her. Thank you so much, Ana!!”

I really appreciate how responsible and loving Alexis was. I would definitely recommend her and will gladly book with her again!”

“Jynna was amazing! I had to hire someone last minute to drop-in for a week while I went on a cruise to feed my dog and cats and she did a great job! The would hire her again and again!! Thank ypu soooo much for making my trip a little less stressful!”

“Sanaya did an amazing job! She was very communicative and made me feel comfortable that my cat was being cared for properly. She sent photos of Belle during each drop in and that was comforting as well.”

“Yvette checked in on my two cats while I was away and did an amazing job. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a cat sitter to check in on their fur babies!”

“Jessica did a great job checking in on my cat whilst I was away, feeding him, changing his water etc. I always got timely updates and it was great knowing someone trustworthy and capable was there to handle any issues. Will book again!”

“Meagan is great! She is very responsive, attentive, and loving to our pups! She sent a very detailed message after her visit explaining what they did. She was perfectly prompt as well. Definitely will be rebooking her!”

About: I have had dogs and cats all my life including a pet rat. For some reason animals tend to like me and I like them as well. I have had to put down three pets in the last two years, very hard thing to do. I had 4 dogs and two cats, sadly down to one each. I’m retired and available anytime during the day. If there are some odd hours it can be discussed. If you pet needs me to walk them and or clean a litter box that will be no problem. I will be glad to send photos during my visit if needed. My yard is fully fenced with rod iron fencing, if the dog is small they might get out but doubtful. I prefer not to keep your pet at my house at this time.

About: With 12+ years in veterinary medicine, I bring a little more than belly rubs and a pocket full of treats to the job. I’m experienced with dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, and personalities—from wild puppies to sweet seniors and pets with medical or special needs. I’m comfortable administering medications, recognizing changes in behavior or health, and following detailed care routines. I’ve also spent years helping rescue and rehabilitate animals, so I’m patient with nervous, anxious, or quirky pups who may need a little extra time to trust someone new. Most importantly, I’ll care for your dog like I would my own—with plenty of attention, ridiculous conversations, and probably way too many pictures sent to you. Pet care has been part of my everyday life for over a decade, both professionally and personally. My schedule is currently flexible, which gives me plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, playtime, feeding, medications, and keeping your pet’s normal routine intact. I’m an early riser, active, and very used to planning my day around animals—because apparently they’ve been running my schedule for years anyway. With 12+ years of veterinary medicine experience, safety is always my priority. I’m comfortable recognizing changes in behavior or health, administering medications, caring for senior and special-needs pets, and following detailed care instructions. In your home, I respect your pet’s normal routine and environment and take the time to earn their trust rather than forcing interaction. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, because I know leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful—even when your pet is completely unbothered by your absence. 😂

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
