I began pet sitting in 2013 and have successfully operated my own pet care business since 2017. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets behind, which is why communication is one of my top priorities. During your booking, you can expect plenty of photos, detailed updates, and regular check-ins so you always know exactly how your furry family members are doing. My goal is to make you feel connected and reassured, even when you’re miles away. 📬🗑️🪴 As a complimentary part of my services, I’m happy to bring in mail and packages, manage trash day by taking bins to and from the curb, and help with other small home-care tasks that keep everything running smoothly while you’re away. Basic plant watering may also be available upon request, with more extensive plant care considered on a case-by-case basis. I love helping clients return home to happy pets and a well-cared-for house. ✅🪪 For additional peace of mind, I am background checked through Rover, and bookings made through Rover are backed by Rover’s protection program. 🏁🙌 My goal isn’t simply to care for your pets while you’re away—it’s to become someone they genuinely look forward to seeing. I prioritize maintaining your pet’s normal environment and routine as closely as possible to reduce stress while you are away. I follow all owner instructions carefully and make detailed notes to ensure consistency throughout the stay. For cats, I clean litter boxes daily (and more often if needed), monitor litter box habits for any changes, and ensure fresh water is always available. For all pets, I regularly refresh water bowls, observe eating habits closely, and adjust feeding approaches only when instructed or when necessary for the pet’s comfort and safety. I provide detailed daily photo updates and communication so you always know how your pet is doing. I also keep a running “daily report” style summary of behavior, appetite, bathroom habits, mood, and activity so you get a clear picture of how your pet is adjusting while you’re away. Communication is always open—if anything seems unusual, I will reach out immediately so we can address it together.

My dogs love Megan! She came first to my home to meet my fur babies and get the information she needed to do an excellent job. She spent time petting and playing with my dogs so they would remember her and visiting with me and making me comfortable to turn over my dogs and house to her with confidence. She is easy to work with, setting up schedules and counting on her. She sends pictures of your happy dogs and keeps you informed about them thru texts. Megan truly loves working with your pets.
I am very impressed with Megan. She showed up to the meet and greet and took notes of how I wanted things done. We have three dogs but also have chickens and ducks, and I asked her to water the garden. She did AMAZING..!! She kept up with everything and kept me very informed. When in doubt she asks questions. She is very respectful of your home. She keeps everything very clean and when you arrive home you never even know she was here. GREAT WORK. A true blessing to have. This kind of house sitter makes vacations so much less stressful when you have animals left at home. Thank you Megan.
Megan was extremely helpful and professional. She stayed in touch with me throughout her stay. Sent me pictures which was wonderful for me. She was very flexible, honest and prompt with time. Schedule
Pet care is my primary focus right now, which allows me to be extremely flexible and fully present for each booking. I do not currently follow a traditional 9–5 schedule, so I am able to adjust my day around your pet’s routine rather than the other way around. This means I can provide consistent feeding times, medication schedules when needed, multiple daily visits if required, and plenty of time for walks, play, and companionship without rushing. I structure my day around the pets I’m caring for so they receive reliable, attentive care throughout the entire booking.

- To provide the safest and most personalized care possible, I like to know as much as I can about your pet’s routine, preferences, and medical or behavioral needs ahead of time. Helpful information includes: * Any sensitive areas or handling boundaries (what they do not like touched) * Anxiety triggers or situations that may cause stress * Health conditions, medications, or mobility limitations * Vet contact information and preferred emergency instructions * Feeding schedule, dietary restrictions, and treat limits * Location of leashes, harnesses, carriers, and supplies * Any known allergies or sensitivities * Whether they are reactive or friendly with other animals on walks * Typical behavior patterns so I can recognize anything out of the ordinary I also appreciate knowing anything “small but important” that makes your pet feel safe—quirks, routines, favorite hiding spots, or comfort behaviors. These details help me keep their experience as stress-free and familiar as possible.
