About: I have been grooming and pet sitting for 16 years. I own and operate my own dog grooming salon (Motown Mutts) . I regularly pull and foster from local shelters and have experience with frightened, nervous and special needs dogs. I have a ton of references and have quickly earned a reputation for providing excellent care in my area. My children were raised doing this and dogs that don’t normally love kids love mine because they speak the language. The dogs are very rarely left alone. My daughter is an LVT and handy for emergencies when I call. I can also groom them with advanced notice during their stay. We love our pet sitters like our own and become very attached to them. My babies usually run to my door and can’t wait to get inside. I am certified in emergency canine CPR and therapeutic massage therapy. The dogs will go to work with me daily unless I find the daycare experience stressful to them (older or nervous pups). I also have employees at my salon so they are available in emergencies The pups will be my pet while with me, we wake up at 4 am, have our meals and then head to the salon for the day to play. I don’t do a lot of playtime outside in the summer during the hottest times but we exercise in the evenings when it’s cooler. If there is an emergency I have staff willing to help out. I prefer no Sunday pick ups or drop offs because that’s family day

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, so I’m comfortable caring for them through every stage from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a slower, more attentive approach. I’m patient with puppy routines and understand the consistency they need, and I’m equally mindful of the extra care, gentleness, and awareness senior dogs require. About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with multiple dogs, one of which I took care of myself once I was older. I had dog sat for friends and even teachers before. I have volunteered at dog shelters to walk and take care of dogs. I love all dogs and dogs love me. I am currently unemployed, searching for a job. About: I got my very own dog when I was 10 years old. Domino was a dalmatian and really just set the ball rolling for my love of all dogs! I have had at least one dog since, the most at one time was 4! We had Chihuahua named Pancho, Boxer named Pepper, Pit bull named Petey and a foster Mix named Ziggy! I would adopt all the dogs if I had enough space. I have dog sat for friends and thought this would be a great way to keep Hobbs social while still being an only child :) I currently work remotely and am available for 24/7 care in my home. I have one kennel but space for you to bring your own if your baby is more comfortable there. However, this is a dog friendly home so pups are of course allowed on furniture and to sleep in bed. About: As far as I can remember, I have always had pets. Dogs, cats, parakeets, hamsters, squirrels and the list goes on. I enjoy being with animals, they give me a sense of peace and well-being that I cannot find anywhere else. They ARE the best stress releaser. I have raised 2 litters of puppies and taken care of a few older furr babies. (They take a little more patience because they cannot get around like they used to) I do have a full-time job, but I can set my hours as needed. I do have a crate, if that is what you do when you are gone. I, also, am fine with them sleeping with me or near me if that is what you prefer.
About: I've had both dogs and cats since I was young. I have worked in vets, rescues, and animal shelters, and have experiences with animals of all ages. My schedule is currently completely open and available, so I am able to watch your pets any day of the week or weekend, at any time! I understand that pet owners know their pets better than anybody! About: I dog sit regularly for family and friends. I take my boyfriend’s dog for walks, play, and take him for trips to the dog park while he is at work. The dog is a 50lb labradoodle, so I have experience with larger dogs. My roommates have a cat who I help take care of too. I have spent my whole life volunteering at animal shelters like the LASPCA, and I have a vast knowledge of dogs, cats, and small pets. I am free weekends, and during the weekdays I have class to work around. I have multiple green spaces at my apartment or near my apartment. I would love to take dogs on walks around LSU’s campus or for a trip to the dog park. I have a spacious apartment with lots of free space for playing. I keep dog toys and supplies at my apartment for animal visits. If you have a cat we have scratching posts, toys, and plenty of supervised playing space. Our home is animal-proofed as well!
