“Our car, Feta, doesn't enjoy staying at traditional boarding places. Lots of fighting taking his medication, "throwing hands," and glares in photos from the facility. Because of this, I decided to try boarding with someone in their home to see if he handled it better. Selena and her family did a wonderful job caring for my cautious boy. They gave him time and space to adjust, ensured he was in a space he couldn't bolt out the front door (he's started doing this recently), and gave him love on his terms. Photos showed a much less stressed cat than other attempts at boarding him. I really appreciate the great care you took of him.”

About: I have been grooming and pet sitting for 16 years. I own and operate my own dog grooming salon (Motown Mutts) . I regularly pull and foster from local shelters and have experience with frightened, nervous and special needs dogs. I have a ton of references and have quickly earned a reputation for providing excellent care in my area. My children were raised doing this and dogs that don’t normally love kids love mine because they speak the language. The dogs are very rarely left alone. My daughter is an LVT and handy for emergencies when I call. I can also groom them with advanced notice during their stay. We love our pet sitters like our own and become very attached to them. My babies usually run to my door and can’t wait to get inside. I am certified in emergency canine CPR and therapeutic massage therapy. The dogs will go to work with me daily unless I find the daycare experience stressful to them (older or nervous pups). I also have employees at my salon so they are available in emergencies The pups will be my pet while with me, we wake up at 4 am, have our meals and then head to the salon for the day to play. I don’t do a lot of playtime outside in the summer during the hottest times but we exercise in the evenings when it’s cooler. If there is an emergency I have staff willing to help out. I prefer no Sunday pick ups or drop offs because that’s family day

About: I am very picky when it comes to the care of my dogs. They have a specific routine and eating schedule. They are my babies and I care for them as I would care for myself. I will absolutely make sure to do the same for your fur babies as well. I am dedicated to making other owners feel safe just the same as I need when I have to be away from my babies. I work remotely part time and can be available for full time care. I have cameras that I monitor our home. We enjoy going on long walks in the morning and in the evening when the sun begins setting in the heat of summer. In the cooler (not cold or freezing weather) seasons, we go on a mid-day walk and on the really pretty days we love to go for as many walks or adventures that we can. My babies usually get 2-4 20 to 30 minute walks per day, more activity outdoor time with beautiful weather. I have 2 dogs at home that eat, walk, play and relax on a routine. I have a safe and secure fenced in yard, but it is small. There is a dog park around the corner and lots of walking trails. I take my dogs on "adventures" and they do have seat belts to keep them safe in the car. Your pets would be a part of our family and I would have them on a similar schedule unless directed to do something different by you. I work less than a mile from my home and have cameras all over my house. I am able to be home within 5 minutes or less if needed when I am away. Walks, outside & play time are very dependent on the weather. We don't go outside in lightning at all or if it is raining weather we only go out back for potty breaks and I look at weather apps multiple times a day because I do have a sweet girl that does not handle storms well at all. We have a dog park in the neighborhood and great walking trails. We go on long adventures as much as possible as long as it is not too hot or cold. Paw pad inspections are done with my bare feet on the concreate before my babies are allowed to walk. My sweet girl is older, so Leia is not able to handle the heat like Kylo. I am also very mindful of this. Your babies would be treated as if they were my babies unless there are other things you need me to do that I am currently not doing for my own.

I do baths, dog walking, training, playtimes, and more, along with many snuggles and treats ! As of right now I work from 5pm-5am So I will have all day to spend time with your pets and give them undivided attention and treat them as I would my own. I like to go on walks and I have a fur baby to keep your pet company! I also provide lots of pictures and videos of your animals to let you know that they’re safe in my care :)
About: As far as I can remember, I have always had pets. Dogs, cats, parakeets, hamsters, squirrels and the list goes on. I enjoy being with animals, they give me a sense of peace and well-being that I cannot find anywhere else. They ARE the best stress releaser. I have raised 2 litters of puppies and taken care of a few older furr babies. (They take a little more patience because they cannot get around like they used to) I do have a full-time job, but I can set my hours as needed. I am able to come home throughout the day and am home evenings and weekends. I have walking trails and a couple of parks that we can spend time together enjoying the outdoors. I share a home with my daughter and four-year-old granddaughter. Fur babies must be kid-friendly if staying the night. I have a fenced back yard. I do have a crate, if that is what you do when you are gone. I, also, am fine with them sleeping with me or near me if that is what you prefer.

I'm a Certified Vet Technician with credentials from UTA and references from two great Veterinarians in the Metroplex. I absolutely adore animals I have tendencies of rescuing strays and finding homes for them. We always welcome wagging tails and small or big paws into our home. About: I have had cats as pets my whole life and dogs as an adult. I have been pet sitting for about 6 years to dogs from puppies to seniors. Times have ranged from weekends to a month. I started fostering kittens when covid hit. I have found joy in caring for animals with all their different personalities. I have become experienced in all things kittens : bottle feeding , tube feeding administering medicine (my neighbor will even call me to give her pets pills) flea baths ringworm baths, brushing teeth you name it . I have even had to help kittens cross the rainbow bridge. It has been bitter sweet , but the love they give is more then enough. All animals deserve the best treatment and love we can give them I have been in education for 20 years teaching art and currently an administrator for the districts Fine Arts Department. My schedule is flexible enough to be able to check on animals during the day so they are taken care of. I have found pet sitting and fostering to be very rewarding and someday would like to start my own fostering service . Foster group Tall Tail Rescue . My job is flexible enough that i can leave for lunch and take care of your pets in the middle of the day as well. I have three cats that have been around lots of dog and cat “visitors” . About: I dog sit regularly for family and friends. I take my boyfriend’s dog for walks, play, and take him for trips to the dog park while he is at work. The dog is a 50lb labradoodle, so I have experience with larger dogs. My roommates have a cat who I help take care of too. I have spent my whole life volunteering at animal shelters like the LASPCA, and I have a vast knowledge of dogs, cats, and small pets.
