About: I have always had pets growing up, so I learned at a young age how to care for dogs, cats, fish, and Guinea pigs. I have my own pet currently! I have a cat and her name is Willow. I take care of my cat every day, I check her food and water bowls twice a day and make time to play with her to give her a workout. I do have a cat, so if I end up taking car of your dog for the day I will most likely avoid bringing them to my home unless you tell me that they get along well with cats. I can take them for walks and to the park or for rides if they enjoy that too!

There’s no one else on this app that I trust more to take care of Goose. Boarding, day care, it doesn’t matter. Brandi and her family take him as one of their own.

Kaylyn was awesome! This was our first time leaving Riley with a sitter overnight so I was pretty nervous, but Kaylyn really knows what she is doing and eased all my worries. She is super responsive, sent tons of adorable pictures of Riley and her pup Ragnar playing and snuggling. Riley was very happy coming home and seemed like he had a good time, we will definitely be booking with Kaylyn again! :)

Sarah was absolutely AMAZING! She was dependable, great at communicating and clearly cared about my dogs. Despite that they made her life extra difficult by finding every mud puddle in her yard, Sarah still managed to take excellent care of them, clean them up and bring them inside at night to ensure they wouldn't be uncomfortable. She was great in every way and I'll definitely be using her as a sitter in the future. 5 stars!

About: For the last 20 years I've been deeply involved with dog rescue and fostering. I have experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments as well as dogs in need of special care. I am an animal lover through and through and I will make sure your friend(s) will get the loving care they deserve. If your pets have medications that they routinely need I have lots of experience with administering meds and dealing with other health issues. I have a relatively flexible work schedule Monday through Friday, I can do walks and play in the early afternoon most days as well as evenings. Ask me about my boarding service as well ! I currently live with three seniors and two younger pups, I live out in the country and have two homes, on one of the properties there are two fenced areas with plenty of room for zoomies. If you would like to board your friends with me, I am fine with having them out and about in the house when I'm present, but they would most likely need to be crated if left alone. Contact me with questions and I can give you more details.

A++ "Sitter"!! I would highly recommend using Courtney for your pets/furry family members care. She was very professional, polite, and took such great care of our dog, Moose. He actually seemed to miss her when we picked him up and she drove back home! ❤️ Even though, she had her own life and things to do, etc...she was very quick to respond, kept in constant contact with our Family, and even took pictures and video of Moose for us and our 7 year old Son. She was understanding, compassionate, and without hesitation was "there for all of us" when unforseen changes or issues occurred. She definitely goes above and beyond to help and be supportive of our requests and needs. In the future, we plan our requesting her again; and, at this point do not plan on asking anyone else to care for our loved one except her! This was the first time we have used a "Sitter," and we truly feel she should have a more deserving "title." She was more than just a dog sitter for us. The services she provided; included, sincerity, love and care of Moose as her own, and unconditional, heartfelt care toward our situation and family as a whole. Within only a few days, Courtney has made us feel like she has always been a part of lives and in our hearts. She is more than that title. We feel she has become a part of our little "Family Unit." She is just an "extended Family member" 🤗. Thank you, Courtney for everything! We are so very thankful and grateful for the opportunity to meet you and have you care for Moose. You are a true Blessing!!

Haylea took fantastic care of Delta! He stayed one night and came home so tired but happy ☺️ Haylea sent us lots of pictures and videos while we were away, which I truly appreciated. This was our first time using her services, but she is confident and you can just tell she’s a dog person! We felt very comfortable leaving our boy in her care. We are so happy that we found her and plan to use her again the next time we are out of town! 🤩🐾

We absolutely LOVE Victoria!! This is our second time booking with her, and will be using her every time we need a sitter! She’s truly the best dog mom. Our dog comes back so tired everytime he stays with her, as he spends the entire time playing and having a blast with her and her dogs. I cannot recommend Victoria enough!!! Your dog will love her without a doubt!

There are 75 sitters on Rover for Pet Boarding in Fort Riley. About 98% of Fort Riley sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in KS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
