“Excellent experience. Jamie and her family were very loving to our senior dogs. They welcomed them like a part of their family loved on them and made them feel comfortable. The family provided lots of pictures and videos throughout their stay. Highly recommend!”

“I really want to appreciate you for sticking by my cats side during their after surgery healing. I feel awful for bee biting. But you stuck by her side afterwards. You communicated so well and the pictures helped giving me some relief.”

“Sam was awesome! She was very good at handling our high energy staffy and provided us with pics and detailed updates along the way. We highly recommend and would absolutely use her again.”

“Kelly did an awesome job taking care of our two Cavaliers! She has a very dog-friendly home and yard. She sent me several photo updates every day to ensure that my pups were comfortable and having a good time. I hope to use Kelly again in the future and would recommend her in a heartbeat.”

“Rémy took to Cheryl and her dogs very well, and Cheryl kept me posted with photos. That helped reassure me that he was in good hands! Definitely will use Cheryl’s dog sitting services again!”

About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs and friends’ dogs since I was a child. I’ve also trained my own. We love dogs of all breeds! I work from home with a flexible schedule and my dog is with me all day. Kennel trained is preferred in case I do leave the house. My own dog, Olivia, loves to play with dogs of all sizes! She has a fenced in area to get her zoomies out or play fetch. She also loves walks and car rides. She is kennel trained and often in there if I leave the house for long periods. I have a camera on in this room so I can peep at her! I would provide this same love and care for your pet. We do have a cat, Stormi, who couldn’t care less what is going on in her house. She stays in her own zone!

About: I’ve taken care of my family and friends fur babies for a while, i’ve also baby sat kids as well as house sit and took care of animals while doing so! My goal is to make sure your fur-babies are happy, healthy and well taken care of while you’re at work or out of town! whatever the case may be I just want to make sure they’re loved! Due to not being able to have kids my pets are like kids to me and I treat everyone’s ’kids’ the same way i do mine, with lots of love!! I’ve done a lot of rescue work in the past with animals aswell as fostered several dogs! I also run my own business making dog and cat bandanas were i donate 10% of all profits to a pet rescue organization 🤎 I’m currently a stay at home dog mom, making taking care of everyone else’s pets extremely easy and very doable! I’m extremely flexible with my time and want to make sure your pets are well taken care of! I care for pets in my home or outside of my home the same way i do mine! Lots of love is given if they allow it, frequent updates will be given even if not asked. I want to make sure everyone can see how their fur-babies are doing and receive as many updates as possible as if it were me this is what i would want! I also do pet photography on the side and will get atleast 1-2 professional photos from my camera to give you during the stay - this is on top of the many photos i’ll send from my phone!
“Kylee was amazing!! We have 2 high energy dogs and she handled them beautifully, lots of attention and activity. She was communicative and very easy to work with. Definitely recommend!!”

About: I’ve been taking care of pets ever since I was a young girl. My parents would often foster kittens to which I would help and learn. When I was 11 and moved to Florida, I started to connect with my neighbors and created relationships where they trusted me enough to care for their pets and stay in their home. With experience in both dog and cat care, elderly and young, I’ve learned how to give medicine, understand what they need, and how to love them unconditionally. As a mom of two cat babes, I understand the need for a loving presence when you cannot be there for your own animals and would love to be able to be that for anyone else. Currently I work part-time with time to spare at home for pet care. I already spend many hours at home with my own fur babies, so I wouldn’t mind at all splitting that time with others staying in the house! Saturdays I work an 8 hour shift, but any other day is wide open. I have two cats in my home, and they have free roam of the house. I am not one to restrict where pets can and cannot go since this is their first time living as well and are curious creatures. If I have a dog with me, then I try to be where they are, providing supervision and company.
About: Hello! My name is Erin ODonnell and I am a 22 year old college student at Wichita State University. I am currently going into my last semester and am a nanny to an 2 year old girl twice a week. I am looking to make some extra money because I have plenty of free time around my classes, school work, and my nanny job. I thought rover was a good idea because I have always loved animals and they have always loved me too. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’m patient, dependable, and genuinely love getting to know each animal’s unique personality. Whether it’s going for a fun walk, sticking to a feeding routine, or calming an anxious pup, I’m committed to providing safe, loving, and reliable care. You can count on me to keep you updated with photos, messages, and real time check ins so you’ll always feel connected and confident that your pet is happy and well cared for. I currently have a very flexible schedule and am able to make time when needed! I have several available time slots in my day to tend to new responsibilities as needed. I have two dogs, a Great Pyrenees and an Australian Shepherd. Both are very high energy as they are still pretty young. I’ve taught them everything they know from sitting and shaking to walking good on a leash and catching a ball in the air and doing fun tricks. I’ve taught both animals to be gentle and loving to all living things from children to other animals. I have also always had cats throughout my life, and can give them lots of needed attention.
“Crystal takes great care of Nilla and we will continue to reach out whenever we go out of town. Her family is always excited to see Nilla and everyone has a great time! Crystal's communication is speedy which is really nice too.”

“Madi is an absolutely spectacular human & takes phenomenal care of our gal. Her photo updates are especially appreciated. We are continually saying how fortunate we are to have her as a reliable sitter.”

About: I have always been an animal lover and have had pets throughout my life. I have experience caring for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds, and small mammals such as hamsters and guinea pigs. I am also experienced in basic grooming, such as bathing, brushing and nails. I am able to follow specific care instructions provided by a veterinarian. I understand the importance of providing consistent care and affection to pets and strive to create a positive and safe environment for them. I believe that proper pet care involves not only meeting their physical needs, but also providing mental and emotional stimulation to ensure their overall well-being. I’m currently unemployed (stay-at-home girlfriend) and available anytime of the day or night, weekends included. Last minute plans happen, so feel free to shoot me a message and I’ll be happy to watch over your pooch! *** Willing to drive up to two hours away to pick up/drop off pup/kitty! When dog sitting, I prioritize pet care safety at all times. This includes providing the dog/cat with fresh water and food, ensuring that they have proper identification, and never leaving them unsupervised. I am also aware of any potential hazards in the home or outside, such as cleaning chemicals or plants that may be toxic to dogs. If the dog/cat is not familiar with the environment, I do my very best to carefully introduce them to the new surroundings and make sure they are comfortable. Additionally, I follow any specific instructions or guidelines provided by the dog/cats owner, such as administering medication or following a specific feeding schedule. Overall, I am attentive and proactive in regards to pet care safety, to ensure a happy and healthy experience for both the dog/cat and you!
“Excellent communication and quick responses. Misty sent lots of pictures of the doggies and kept us updated. She took fantastic care of my dogs and I would definitely book her again!”

“Loki loved it with Charity. We've tried taking him to doggy daycares in the past and he absolutely hates them, with charity, he apparently made himself right at home and seemed like he was in good spirits when we picked him up and really likes her. Charity kept us updated and showed us pictures of him being adorable. He got to go on walks, had people and pets to play with. If we need someone to watch him again, we will absolutely go back to charity.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in KS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
