“I couldn’t have found a better doggy care giver than Madi! She was amazing with my 75 pound high energy Black Mouth Cur. Madi sent me pictures and updates everyday, exercised and cared for Sailor as if it was her own pup. I was as on a ski vacation, and actually came home with a broken leg, Madi took the extra length to help Sailor and I when I got home get settled in. Highly recommend ‼️❤️”

“We are repeat bookers with Heather and her and her family always do a wonderful job. Our pup was well loved and was excited to see her again! Will be booking with Heather again in the future!”

“Jordan and Cody were absolutely amazing. They treated my pup like she was one of their own and made sure she felt safe and comfortable even though she is very timid and unsure of new dogs/people. They sent me pictures and videos all week long. Would 100% recommend to family and friends. Will be using again in the future!”

“You can trust Jenny with your babies! Jenny was great. She sent me daily updates and pictures and was quick to respond. I was nervous to leave my puppy with someone for the first time but it was a great, easy experience. I would definitely recommend her and plan on using her again!”

“Dennis took care of our dog, Kuna, for the second time and it was a 10-day stay. He took excellent care of her! It is obvious that she loves to go to his house as she gets excited when she sees us packing her bags to go. He has a great routine for her and takes her on walks. He communicates with us and sends pics and updates while we are gone. I highly recommend him.”

“My dog was very well cared for and came home from his 4 day stay happy and tired! Halie sent pics and videos everyday. It was obvious he was very comfortable and felt right at home. He can be anxious especially when away from home so I am super happy with Halie!”

“We will definitely use Meghan again! I felt 100% comfortable leaving my fur baby with her. Meghan sent pictures and updates throughout the stay, which I really appreciated.”

““She was amazing! Took the best care of my dog, sent updates regularly, and it truly felt like he was treated as one of her own for the whole week. I could not have asked for a better experience or better individual to leave my dog with for a week!””

“Misty was great with Judy. Helped me out with a last minute booking. Good communication and pictures during the stay. Will definitely be using again when I need a sitter.”

“Kelly was very pleasant, friendly, and accommodating with our schedule. She sent us pictures and updates periodically so that we could see how Molly was doing. Molly was so well loved and played with that she was exhausted when we picked her up. Molly seemed to have liked her time with Kelly and her family.”

“I really want to appreciate you for sticking by my cats side during their after surgery healing. I feel awful for bee biting. But you stuck by her side afterwards. You communicated so well and the pictures helped giving me some relief.”

“As usual, Muggsy had a wonderful time staying with Naomi. She treats him like her own. She's our go-to sitter from here on out. Thank you, Naomi for always taking excellent care of our pup!”

About: I absolutely love dogs. I’ve had my dog, Simba, since a puppy & we’ve basically grown up together. I’m happy to provide boarding and sima will love having a buddy to play with. I only take one boarder at a time, so they will get loads of attention and play time. I also do drop-ins and walks. Simba and I are both patient with puppies as well, I know puppyhood can be a challenge! Will provide lots a pictures, videos & FaceTime check-ins as requested! Boarding is limited to weekends mostly as I work full-time and want to be sure your doggo is getting all my attention, but I can make arrangements to work from home on a case by case basis for longer stays. I am flexible for drop-ins and walks in the evenings and on the weekends! I have a large fenced yard and Simba loves to play! I also live near a few walking trails that will surely wear them out. Will provide lots a pictures, videos & FaceTime check-ins as requested!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in KS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
