“Caroline was wonderful to our 2 cats! She was loving and played with them every visit! She did everything we asked her to do, including cleaning up after them. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again!!!”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for over 10 years now! I’ve taken care of both Dogs and cats of all sizes! I’ve been dog sitting for years and I have been working at Sydney’s pet resort as a supervisor for 4 years now! I have experience giving all animals medication and will help animals with any medical issues they may have! I have experience working with puppies and senior dogs, as well as kittens and senior cats! I currently work Tuesday through Saturdays but I will work around my schedule to make sure I find time to care for your pets! I am typically free all day on Sundays and Mondays! I am currently not watching any animals in my own home but I am able to watch them in the comfort of their own home!
“I don’t think i can describe how amazing Justine is…in words. My dogs have loved her since i first moved here. She was able to get my sweet Nahla girl to come out of her shell before she passed && she is Roscoe’s favorite person when i am gone. She puts my mind at ease when i had to leave him for work trips and i am so thankful for her. I 100% recommend her to anymore. She is amazing!”

About: I’ve had a dog most of my life, but I’ve owned Cavaliers for 15 years. I’ve cared for multiple dogs (and cats) at one time. I prefer to care for dogs in your home. I can also care for fish, chickens and do general housekeeping. I reside in El Dorado, but for the last year, I have been substitute teaching in the Wichita metro area. Therefore, I do have some flexibility in my schedule at this point. I’m able to do potty runs during the day provided the distance allows it. I prefer to care for pets in my client’s home so that the dogs are used to their normal environment and routine. If needed, I can care for a single small-medium sized dog in my home, although the dog must be comfortable being on a leash as I do not have a fenced yard. Also, I am not a smoker or drinker.
“Reagan was so great with our kitties. They instantly took a liking to her and were well taken care of. She was very communicative and shared daily updates with pics. Highly recommend”

“Rachael was the most attentive sitter to our dogs. She was very reliable and on time each day. She helped our anxious dog feel at ease and gave them very much needed love and pets! We will definitely be using her services again!”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I genuinely love spending time with them! I’m comfortable caring for dogs, cats, and even horses, whether that means going on walks, playing, feeding, giving lots of attention, or simply keeping them company. I know every animal has their own personality, so I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own and keep you updated along the way! I have a flexible schedule that gives me plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve! Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just some extra cuddles and company, I’ll make sure they never feel forgotten or rushed. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. I’ll follow their normal routine, respect your home, and pay close attention to any special instructions you leave. I want your pet to feel comfortable with me and give you peace of mind knowing they’re being cared for like family.

About: Professional boarding and daycare experience. I’m patient with puppies, seniors, nervous dogs, and high-energy pets, always adapting to each pet’s individual needs. My work schedule varies, but I’m flexible and can often provide pet care on weekdays and weekends, depending on my schedule. I appreciate clear communication before booking. I focus on a safe, calm environment by following instructions, keeping pets on their routine, and providing supervision, comfort, and respectful care in your home.
“Sara has taken care of our dogs several weekends over the past six months. She is wonderful! She’s always been punctual, gives great summaries of her visits, and our dogs love her. I trust her and will always reach out to her first anytime we’ll be out of town; our pups are always in caring hands with her.”

About: I have always been a dog lover, and I love meeting new pooches! I have sat for many dogs over the years, and have recently trained my own service dog named Dolly Parton. She is my best friend and can meet your dog- or not- we're flexible! I work full time days, but my evenings and weekends are typically free for pet care. If needed I can also take an extended lunch break to check on your pet. I am available to play with your pet at your place or a park if they are up for a drive. I am very active, so if your dog wants to go for a walk or a run, I'm ready to work up a sweat!
“Ashlen is great. Responds fast. Shows up on time. Clearly has significant amounts of experience with animals. My dog is high anxiety and she is great with him. She genuinely loves animals. I have already booked her again for more drop-ins. Thank you!”

About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience and calm, reliable approach to pet care. I have 7 years of experience caring for dogs and cats from multiple families, including puppies, seniors, and pets with different routines and personalities. I’m comfortable providing patient care for older pets as well as consistent structure for younger ones. In addition, I’ve worked as a professional dog bather at PetSmart for 6 months, where I regularly handle dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. This role has strengthened my skills in safe handling, reading dog body language, and keeping pets calm and comfortable in new situations. I treat every pet as an individual and aim to provide dependable, attentive care so both pets and owners feel confident and at ease. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I currently work part-time as a bather at PetSmart, typically working 9–5 or occasionally until 6, with 2–3 days off each week. This allows me to offer flexible and reliable pet care around my work schedule. While my hours can sometimes vary, I prioritize clear and consistent communication and will always be upfront about my availability. I carefully plan my commitments to ensure each pet receives attentive, dependable care and plenty of time and consideration. I’m unable to provide care in my own home, as I have an older cat and an older dog who do best without new animals in their space. However, I’m happy to provide care in your home whenever possible, where pets are often most comfortable and relaxed. In a client’s home, I follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding, fresh water, litter or potty breaks, playtime, companionship, and any special instructions. I’m also able to take dogs on regular walks and provide attentive, calm care to ensure your pet feels safe and well cared for while you’re away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
