“Rachael was the most attentive sitter to our dogs. She was very reliable and on time each day. She helped our anxious dog feel at ease and gave them very much needed love and pets! We will definitely be using her services again!”

About: Hi! I’m Angelina, and to put it simply, I love animals! I’ve been working as a nurse for 2 years and just started grad school, and now I’m looking for a part-time job caring for pets. I’ve had the pleasure of looking after dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, and I especially enjoy taking dogs on walks. I can’t wait to meet your pets and give them all the love and attention they deserve! My schedule is flexible, so just reach out and I should be able to make anything work. I really look forward to working with you! Safety is of the highest priority. I will listen to what you need from me to provide the best care that I can in your home and during walks! I am a fast learner, so I can learn their routine and needs quickly. Please let me know any major concerns or pertinent information about your pet so that I can provide the best care possible!
“Ashlen is great. Responds fast. Shows up on time. Clearly has significant amounts of experience with animals. My dog is high anxiety and she is great with him. She genuinely loves animals. I have already booked her again for more drop-ins. Thank you!”

About: I’ve helped care for a wide range of animals some being as young as a week old to being over 14 years old. I have loved caring for hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits and the average house cat and dog. I have some free time with college classes being over for the summer and my student worker position that doesn’t require much of my time. So I would love to fill that time doing something I would love. At home I have a friendly and energetic blue heeler that loves to play ball and a senior orange tabby cat that is sweet but on his own time. I love caring and playing with them and any of my family and friends animals.
“Myranda & Kary were great as always! They gave us peace of mind that our cats weren't completely alone during the holidays and even fed our fish. We couldn't recommend them enough 💜”

About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience and calm, reliable approach to pet care. I have 7 years of experience caring for dogs and cats from multiple families, including puppies, seniors, and pets with different routines and personalities. I’m comfortable providing patient care for older pets as well as consistent structure for younger ones. In addition, I’ve worked as a professional dog bather at PetSmart for 6 months, where I regularly handle dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. This role has strengthened my skills in safe handling, reading dog body language, and keeping pets calm and comfortable in new situations. I treat every pet as an individual and aim to provide dependable, attentive care so both pets and owners feel confident and at ease. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I currently work part-time as a bather at PetSmart, typically working 9–5 or occasionally until 6, with 2–3 days off each week. This allows me to offer flexible and reliable pet care around my work schedule. While my hours can sometimes vary, I prioritize clear and consistent communication and will always be upfront about my availability. I carefully plan my commitments to ensure each pet receives attentive, dependable care and plenty of time and consideration. I’m unable to provide care in my own home, as I have an older cat and an older dog who do best without new animals in their space. However, I’m happy to provide care in your home whenever possible, where pets are often most comfortable and relaxed. In a client’s home, I follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding, fresh water, litter or potty breaks, playtime, companionship, and any special instructions. I’m also able to take dogs on regular walks and provide attentive, calm care to ensure your pet feels safe and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I have been around pets most of my life and love every kind of animal. Im willing to help with whatever you need. I just graduated from WSU with my MS in biology! I am currently free in the mornings before 10 and the evenings after 7 on Sunday and Tuesday-Thursday. I am free most all of the day on Monday, Friday, and Saturday I will take special care to your exact specifications. I can help with any other pets you might have (chickens, herps, etc) and water plants/gardens, whatever else you might need while youre gone!
About: I’ve had and taken care of dogs my whole life and I have also had many different animals like a hedgehog and a guinea pig so I’ve had experience with different kinds of animals and I’m willing to take care of the not so fun things like picking up poop, etc. I should be available quite a bit but I’m a college cheerleader at Washburn university so I might get busy at some times but I don’t have a job other than being a cheerleader. I would care for my clients pets by taking them on lots of walks so they can get exercise but also making sure there needs are met like going to the bathroom and sleeping!

“We are really happy with her services, we requested last minute services and she acommodated us in her schedule. No problems at all, even having a hudge difficult to handle dog. Thanks!”

About: I am extremely eager to share my love and care for animals! I am responsible, reliable, and attentive and I’m excited to make sure your furry friends feel happy and safe! I currently work 4-9 shifts on Tuesday-Saturday but I am able to and also willing to rearrange my schedule as needed to fit your schedule! I have a fenced yard with lots of space to run. I am responsible and respectful and just want to care for others animals while they are away or need extra help! Boarding is a little different since I have three large dogs in my household, but they are friendly and playful and would love to have furry friends!
About: I have had dogs all my life, including all different kinds of animals. I lived in the country and so I had cows, chickens, cats, dogs and bees. I have a 14 year old English mastiff and a 2 year old cat. My schedule is pretty open so my available times are Monday: 12:00-5:00pm, Tuesday: 3:00-5:00pm, Wednesday: 3:00-5:00pm, Thursday: 3:00-5:00pm and finally on Friday I am available from 9:00-5:00pm. I feed my dog and clean up after him and give both my dog and cat water everyday. For other people’s pets, I would give them food and water, medicine if needed, and let them outside for however long they want them let them inside.
About: I have two big dogs, a pyrenees, and a pyrenees mix. I also have 4 cats, and 2 pet rats. I have experience with puppies as well, as our dog has had 2 litters of puppies. We live on a small homestead, so every day I maintain our chickens, pigs, and bunnies plus the rest of our pets. I have loved animals my whole life! I’m a stay at home mom, so I am free almost every week day during school hours, (or earlier) and available to help out during the weekends! We have a tall chain link pen next to our barn, as well as an unused garage apartment that can be used for cats or small dogs.
About: I have loved dogs since I was little, I grew up with a black lab and a golden retriever. They are built in best friends. I now have a Bernese Mt Dog. I can help train puppies or love on senior dogs and make sure they get the care they need. I currently work from home so I can provide care all day for your furry friends and watch them play in the fenced backyard or go on neighborhood walks! I have a fenced yard, plus a covered sun room that they can lounge in or hangout inside with me. I do have a 3 year old Bernese Mt Dog who loves to play and is great with other dogs.
About: Hi there! I’m so happy you are taking the time to look over my profile! Over the past years I have worked with dogs and cats to provide sitting and walking as needed per owner. My previous job was at a dog boarding facility which shows how much I love animals! They are all so unique in their own way! I am working full time but don’t worry! I have time in the mornings and nights to always be there for the furry friends! I have Sundays off and love to hangout and enjoy the weather! I have a fenced in dog park at my location but have had lots of experience handling dogs in backyards as my old home had half an acre yard. Whether it’s a small amount of space or huge, there is so much fun to have and moments to create!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Andover
Hannah and Dylan were fantastic! They loved Milo like he was their own and went above and beyond by doing little "house sitting tasks" like turning lights off and on, pulling in our trash cans and packages. We also got very detailed check-ins and pictures of them being active with Milo. Couldn't recommend them more. Will def book with them again! Also, they left us a sweet surprise upon return. So thoughtful! 🐾❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
