About: I've always loved pets since I was little. I currently have a dog and two cute little turtles who I love and take care of. I've had my dog for about 6 years now. But my family has always been big on dogs I've been around them ever since I can remember.đ¤ Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I plan my schedule to ensure pets receive consistent attention, timely feedings, exercise, bathroom breaks, and companionship. I make pet care a priority and am committed to maintaining each petâs normal routine as closely as possible. I provide attentive, compassionate care tailored to each petâs needs. I follow feeding schedules, ensure fresh water is always available, provide exercise and playtime, administer medications if needed, and give plenty of affection and supervision. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages for peace of mind.
âMegan was great! I booked a little last minute, but she had no issue with it. Great communication and made sure she understood everything needed for our furry babies. Would book again!â

âAbigail was absolutely amazing with my three pets! They all loved her right away, which says a lot especially because my cat usually doesnât let anyone touch her, but she trusted Abigail enough to let herself be handled and cared for. Abigail was very attentive, followed all the notes I left, and made sure each of my pets was comfortable, clean, and happy. I felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!â

About: I have had pets as long as I can remember! I am a lover girl of animals and being able to take care of someoneâs sweet pet while they are away would be an honor! I am an active duty single soldier who loves taking care of peoples animals since I canât have one of my own long term due to a deployment lifestyle. I have taken care of pet owners pets on post and off post and itâs always manageable! I make sure to ask the owner for all things about the pet and always provide updates. I love to get them exited and happy with playing outside or going on a nightly walk before bed.
âNatasha was such a pleasure to work with and made our dog sitting process stress free! She took EXCELLENT care of our dog while we were away and she was very professional. Our dog absolutely adores her!â

About: I have hands-on pet care experience, including feeding, grooming, walking, understanding each petâs unique personality, and ensuring animals feel safe by creating a calm, trusting, and joyful environment. As an active duty service member, I offer dependable, disciplined, and compassionate pet care, available after 5 p.m. on weekdays and anytime during the weekends. I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort by creating a calm and clean environment, following each petâs routine, and giving them attentive, loving care like family.

âBy far the best experience we have had on Rover in the 2 years we have been using it. Incredibly attentive and communicative. This was the first trip where we were not worried or nervous for our cats wellbeing while away.â

âBailey was awesome, she was a lifesaver when my sitter had to cancel on me the last due to an emergency. Bailey was very accommodating and she really took good care of my fur babies đ. I definitely recommend her â¤ď¸â

About: I have worked in a mix of animal care, environments, includinga rescue, multiple dog daycare/boarding facilities, grooming, and volunteered at pet shelters. I understand how important exercise can be for all fur babies. I believe a positive and vibrant environment benefits all pets. All animals need attention and I am willing to give them 100% and nothing less than satisfactory. I carry portable bowls, water bottles, snacks, and clean up bags on hand at all times. Expect photo updates of your precious fur babies during walks and boardings. During my time, I learned about appropriately introducing dogs, how to care and attend to every dogs need, and how to interpret their behavior. Your family member will not go without walks, play time, food, water, snacks, kisses, cuddles, and of course loads of love.
âTessa did an amazing job checking in on our 3yo cat while we were away for a long weekend. She had great communication before the booking and during each visit with lots of pictures!. Our cat absolutely loved her and her visits. He is usually shy meeting new people so it says a lot about her personality that he immediately warmed up to her wanting company, playtime, and cuddles. We will definitely want to book Tessa again the next time we go out of town!â

âCourteney was very friendly and she took good care of my 3 English Bulldogs, I have already requested her services again for the next time we will be out of town đâ

âKelsey was a gem. My other sitter had to cancel right before my trip and Kelsey came through for me. She was always prompt to respond to me. She felt free to ask me any questions to make sure everything went smoothly with my cats. She was very kind and polite. Because of her I had a worry-free trip.â

About: Iâve grown up around animals my whole life and canât imagine life without them. I prioritize making the animal as comfortable and safe while they are in my care and make sure they get lots of love and attention. My pets are my babies so Iâm picky about who Iâd let watch them, so I understand wanting to make sure you have someone trustworthy not just with your pets, but in your home and environment. I work for the school district until 3pm, but usually have a clear schedule after that unless itâs concert week or a field trip day. Being respectful of the clients/animals environment, I make sure to leave everything as is and mess free as well as giving pets attention & love and not just doing duties and leaving. Animals get lonely too.
About: I have always had a dog in my life since being born. From either owning my own, fostering pups, or helping take care of roommates' dogs. I love all kinds of breeds, especially pitty. I work full time from 6 am to 2 pm Monday though Friday. Typically weekends are open to any schedule. With some long weekend throughout the year. I live in a duplex, with no fenced in yard. I have one dog that has free range of the house. Any are aloud anywhere. I do have access to get on base for Fort Riley.

âKathryn was great. My cat is very spoiled but Kathryn didn't give up trying to get her to be friendly. I will definitely ask her to come back when I leave town.â

About: Iâve take care dogs since I was 7 always around dogs and always helping neighbors with their dogs. It is the best environment that I love to in it. Iâm currently working on base but Iâm always available after 5 pm and weekends for walking daily after 5 pm or staying with me if someone needs to travel. I have a fenced backyard and friendly dog that loves to play so I have enough space for more dogs and toys for them to play.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
