“Sarah went above and beyond during her drop in visits for Nunu! She left such detailed information that I had no worries about Nunu during my trip! Sarah also helped set up a new litter box for Nunu because she noticed Nunu had an accident outside her litter boxes, and she asked questions whenever she was unsure about anything. I highly recommend Sarah to take care of your cats!”

“My girlfriend and I have both travelled extensively and the trips that involved us leaving our pets behind were by far the most difficult. Kelli completely changed this dynamic of us. Not once did we worry about them while we were away because we got daily updates and communication. Our neighbor even messaged us to tell us that the person caring for our animals was spending great quality time with them. The temperament of our pets upon arrival home was distinctly different than past experiences, they were happy and relaxed. We will absolutely use her again.”

About: I grew up fostering animals from the Humane Society of Harford County, caring for animals with the range of young puppies/kittens to senior dogs/cats. And, yes, I’ve “foster-failed” a few times, and have multiple cats and dogs of my own. A house isn’t a home without a fur baby. I am a middle-school teacher who currently has full availability now that summer vacation has begun. I’d love to fill my time off by caring for your four-legged friends! Fostering animals with a variety of backgrounds, training levels, capabilities, etc., has given me a lot of experience with creating a safe and happy environment.

“Stephanie was wonderful with our girls!! I was apprehensive as I had to extend our travels and have never left them for such a long time, but Stephanie was reliable and prompt with her visits. The girls enjoyed her visits. Thank you!”

“Elizabeth was amazing to work with. Incredibly professional, friendly and responsive. I felt so safe leaving her with my cat Shredder, especially given her background in pet care and veterinary medicine. Thank you so much for your grace and understanding during the past 2 weeks, it truly meant a lot to me. 100% would recommend to anyone in the area seeking pet care.”

About: Hi, my name is Jennifer and I'm new to Rover but not pet care! I have passionately been working in Animal Care, Welfare and Rescue for 10 years now, my entire adult life! I have 10 years of history working in doggy daycares with dog and cat boarding and animal shelters. I have also volunteered with dogs, cats, rats, goats, pigs, horses and more. Anywhere from fostering, TNR programs, to PetSmart adoption centers for kitties, transportations/freedom rides and on farms. I am skilled in nail trims, bathing/brushing, basic positive reinforcement training, medical/geriatric needs including handling medications, and I'm educated in dog and cat behavior. My pet sitting experience includes dogs, cats, bunnies and small animals such as rodents for the past 10 years. I have pet sat for family, personal friends and their families, and people I have randomly ended up befriending at dog parks, hiking or in the animal care jobs I've had! I love when animals and pets bring people together. I have grown up with dogs, cats, bunnies, rats, birds and even iguanas. My dream one day is to own my very own sanctuary/rescue on a farm. My beautiful family includes me, my wonderful husband Henry, our 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 rat and our medical foster kitty. I not only look forward to meeting your beloved pet, but you as well! I am opening my schedule full time for pet care services. I have decided it's time for a new journey and continue growing my animal care skills. With my 10 years experience, passion and incredible attention to detail, I am confident I will be a good fit for you and your pet. I've spent years cleaning up some of the dirtiest kennels you could imagine but I love to clean in my general life so when it's for an animal, even better!

“Pat and Bee were fantastic!!! They were very professional and communicative during the entire time me and my family were away and they were caring for our fur babies. Always on time and took photos to share with us. I definitely intend to use them again for all future family trips and highly suggest any looking for some to lovingly and properly care for their pets while away Pat and Bee would be my first choice.”

“Molly! I cannot thank you enough! 🥰 We have two (sometimes) stubborn Corgis and a cat, who Molly was able to drop in to care for ( in 30 min intervals / 3x a day, for 4 days ) while we were away! She went above and beyond and even started to become accustomed to *their* routine a few days in! I loved the prompt check-in notifications and enjoyed waiting for the Rover Card to see their faces/read updates! Molly takes cute pictures and cares greatly for your animals with ease! Oh and she will even keep your packages safe! 10/10 recommend!”

About: I’ve helped our friends before and love being with pets. I’m good at getting their energy out! Also I have plenty of time now that I’m a teacher on summer break so my hours are super flexible. I’m a preschool teacher and I’m currently on summer break. Therefore my hours are very flexible. I can pretty much help out whenever I’m needed. I will follow the directions on the pet owner. I currently have 3 cats in my house. We love them and take good care of them.

“Thank you Mariah. I’m glad Birdie greeted you and you captured a lot of great pictures. It really does the heart well to see your fur baby is ok while traveling. Until next time. 😻”

About: I grew up with both dogs and cats and have always loved animals. I have house sat and dog sat before and always treat other people’s animals like my own. I’m a registered nurse so I am patient, conscientious, and reliable. I’m a registered nurse and work 3-12hr night shifts a week. I usually have free time during the day on weekdays when most people are at work. I’m also comfortable with pet care later at night, as I stay up late. Early mornings are not usually good for me unless I am coming home from working overnight. I always make sure to treat other people’s pets and homes with respect. I treat all animal’s like they are my own pet. I love spending time with them. I make sure not to give them anything that they shouldn’t eat and to keep anything potentially dangerous completely put away where it can’t accidentally be reached by an animal.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with three dogs of my own, including a sweet senior pup. Experienced with senior care, administering medications, and providing plenty of love and attention, I’ll treat your dogs like they’re my own and make sure they’re happy, healthy, and safe while you’re away. I’m a remote part-time worker based in the Kingsville area, with a flexible schedule during the week for walks and drop-in visits. I’m happy to check in on pets within a short driving distance, giving them the care and attention they need while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow your care instructions closely, keep doors and gates secure, and maintain a calm, familiar environment. Whether it’s on walks or in your home, I’m attentive to their needs, use safe handling at all times, and make sure they’re never left unsupervised in unsafe situations. You can trust that they’ll be cared for as if they were my own.

About: I have two dogs of my own. I love playing with them and giving them treats. Been trying to get them to do tricks. I have dog sat for 10-15 years for family and friends I am currently at a full time job. So I can always walk them in the morning, feed them, and give them love. After work I will do the same thing. I also have weekends available so I can walk your dog 5 times a day. I have never had dogs come to my home I have always gone to the clients house. But I follow every schedule the client gives me and I always make sure that are not by themselves

While you’re away, you can rest assured that your pet is in safe, caring hands, with updates provided to ensure you remain connected to their well-being. I have experience caring for younger animals with energetic needs who require frequent playtime. I’ve also dedicated time to caring for senior pets, providing them with gentle exercise, extra comfort, and making any necessary dietary adjustments to support their health and comfort. Currently, I care for a 17-year-old cat who requires more delicate care. Additionally, my background includes working with anxious pets, where I’ve applied my professional clinical experience to soothe, calm, and build their confidence, helping them feel more secure in unfamiliar environments. I work from home and run my own business, so my availability can accommodate you and your pet’s needs. I’m flexible with scheduling and can provide consistent care and attention throughout the day. Whether your pet needs midday walks or frequent drop-in visits, I’m happy to help make things easier for you. I will offer whatever service and care is most similar to your pets current environment.
