I also have experience with dietary restrictions. I currently work full time (9-5) during the week, but work 10 minutes from home and have a flexible schedule to where I could let pets out once or twice during the workday. I work from home on Fridays as well and don’t work weekends. I have a dog-friendly apartment with a run for dogs to relieve themselves, play, and socialize. The surrounding neighborhood is also very walkable and a few minutes drive from local parks.

I'm currently working weekday mornings as a trainer, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I can take care of pets mostly on the weekends and afternoons.
