About: My home is where I tell people "they have me trained well". I love all animals and believe they deserve the best of treatment as they give to us so unconditionally. Any animal in our household is taken care of as they are our children. Our older dog was raised to be kind to smaller animals and seems to think anything smaller than him is his to take care of. We taught this by stroking gently and telling him to "be nice" this is just a "baby". Animals are never hit or disciplined by any harsh means, we reinforce good behavior. Our dogs get brushed every night around 7:00 and remind us if we miss the time and we treat them to a small snack every evening around 8:30 which they know also.

About: I am a second year vet school student. I am able to handle all kinds of pets, give medications, handle emergencies, and provide excellent animal care. I am currently home for the summer from vet school, so I have a flexible schedule which gives me lots of time to be with your pet! I can follow whatever instructions you need me to when visiting and caring for your pet. I can let them out, play with them, or walk them if needed.

About: Hello! I love all types of pets and currently have two dogs of my own. I am a student at Virginia-Maryland college of veterinary medicine trying to earn some extra money by doing what I love, playing with pets. I have experience with all types of pets at varying sizes and personalities. During my undergraduate career, I raised two Seeing Eye Dogs and helped other raisers with training. During this time, I worked at a veterinary hospital, participated in animal specific events like vaccination clinics, and groomed. From healthy puppies and kittens to seniors who need medication, I have seen it all and am prepared to help with whatever your pet needs. I hope I can meet your fur babies and shower them with love while you’re away. I offer additional grooming services, ask about them if your interested. As someone who owns two dogs, pet care is a priority in my life. Both of my pups get plenty of one-on-one time as well as long walks and enrichment in the house. During the day, the pups are crated while I am at school, but if my boyfriend is off of work they get to run around and play. As soon as I get home the dogs get taken out and fed. Along with daily care, I take care of all of their grooming and medical needs as well. I currently live in apartment complex which has a dog play area for your furry friends to get plenty of exercise. There is also a trail connected to the complex which will be utilized for long walks and plenty of sniffing opportunities. Both of my pups are very friendly and would be happy to be your pet’s playmate during their stay.

About: Ever since I was born I had an animal right by my side . I have learned to take care of animals and provide for them. I have taken care of friends, family and neighbors pets in the past. I also have worked at a dog daycare called tail chasers so I have experience with big dog groups. I’m good with cats as well . I’m experienced with walking multiple dogs at a time because I got 3 myself. I’m currently working 3:30 am to 12:00 pm so I will have plenty time to spend with your animals. I’m free on the weekends as well . Willing to come to your place to house sit and take care of your animals. I have done that in the past for people. Willing to also stop by and give water, food and walks with some play time on the side .

About: I have cared for several work friend's pets, including someone who had 7 medium-large dogs with a laundry list of special accommodations and medications needed I am an Army Veteran going to college, this leaves my afternoons and weekends completely free. I can alter the rest of my schedule to accommodate your pet I have a dog and cat of my own, so I have experience with the difference in the needs and behaviors of the two most common household pets. I care for their physical as well as their mental health to the best of my ability. I strive to care for all animals the same way.

About: I absolutely love dog and house sitting! I have house and dog sat for up to four dogs at once and been around dogs all my life, there is nothing I'd like to do more! I grew up around lots of dogs and started out my love for dogs early. I continued by getting my own dog and by house and dog sitting for friends and family. I continued to do this throughout college and into my adult life as a counselor, but expanded to house sitting for other people in the area with dogs. I moved to the Charlottesville area and am missing all my furry friends. About: I am a lover of all animals, especially dogs. I grew up with dogs of all kinds, big and small. Therefore, I know that dogs have different needs and personalities. About: My family farm is the Madd Hatchery in Hubert. It consists of approx. 40+ chickens, 3 dogs, 2 goats, 5 rabbits, and 10 indoor and/or barn felines. I was raised with animals - young, old, and ill or disabled. We adore the "misunderstood." Over a decade ago, I began my own first business - as an Administrative/Personal Assistant & Pet Caregiver. I solely did this from 2011 to 2017 while I was in school. From Kittens to Chickens is my pet care business now. About: I have been pet sitting for many years. I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, and even a chameleon. I really have a special affection for dogs. I connect with them and they with me. I have friends whose dogs freak out when they see me after not having seen me for a while. I take them on hikes, play with them, and do whatever is necessary to keep them in good health while in my care. I can see that all your dogs needs are met, including medications, special foods, treats, and a good night's sleep. I have a fenced-in backyard where your dog and mine can frolic while I keep an eye on them. I always supervise and dogs aren't left on their own.

About: I have been dog sitting around my neighborhood since I was about 13. I have lots of experience not only dog sitting but house sitting as well. I also have experience with puppies and helping train/teach them. My biggest experience is working for a doggie daycare and working at a dog park (BarK for anyone familiar!) Along with this I also have had two cats and two dogs of my own who I love dearly. I am also CPR certified in dog CPR and have basic first-aid experience with animals! I am currently searching for a job so I have plenty of time to focus on you and your pets! I would love to spend as much time as your pets need to make sure they are comfortable and happy :) As of now I won’t be able to offer boarding/daycare at my place but at others houses I want to make sure both human and dog have the best experience possible. I will always check what is expected of the pets during our time together (allowed on furniture? Nice to others on walks? Etc) I make sure that the pets are getting the most out of our time together with lots of interaction and love :)

About: I’m available for everything from potty breaks every 2 hours to setting with them during a storm. I can administer meds and have experience with deaf and blind dogs. I’m a stay at home mom who prefers to homeschool my teenager. My schedule is very flexible. I can stay with your fur baby for a short visit or a lengthy visit allowing for outdoor time. I am available for you and your pet family and what your needs are. Your fur baby will be cared for and given the same attention and love as I’d give my own. I am quiet and soft spoken by nature. The family cat that hides from everyone doesn’t seem phased by my presence. Timid dogs do not feel threatened by me. I am happy to do small things around the house while your pet has outdoor time or potty’s. Water plants, collect eggs, get the mail, maybe even leave a few lights on at night to make it look like someone is home to passersby neighbors and cars. What ever you need me to do to make your time away from your fur baby as stress free as possible.
