My pup Lilibet, named after Queen Elizabeth, is a six year old rescued Beagle Mix coming in at under 25 pounds and we are excited for our new adventure on Rover. Lilibet is not my first pup; I have over thirty years caring for dogs. SleepOvers at Lilibet’s Place is designed for pet owners vacationing without their pups. I know how difficult it can be to find appropriate pup care while planning your own getaway. Please allow SleepOvers at Lilibet’s Place to be your pups getaway with a buddy to play with during the day and two adults to love all over in the evening and weekends. We are minutes away from the Gypsy Hill Dog Park in Staunton, VA and a short Road Trip to Coyner Springs Park in Lyndhurst, VA with a Leash-Free Dog Park. There is a huge difference between a Medium Dog and a Large Dog! I am happy to entertain hosting your Large Pup if the connection is right. Lilibet enjoys playing with dogs over 40 pounds like an English Shepherd but a Doberman Pinscher coming in at 90 pounds might be a bit much for our setup. In determining if we are a good fit for your pups vacation, please keep in mind that: • I do not have any children in my home • We work outside the home and can monitor our pups using our Lilibet Cam • I am comfortable administering oral or subcutaneous injections • Lilibet is a client of Staunton Vet Clinic in town and we are ten minutes away from the Veterinary Emergency Services in Verona, VA SleepOvers at Lilibet’s Place is intended to be a minimum of one week that begins on a Friday in order for our pups to become comfortable with each other. A prior Meet & Greet is required before confirming a reservation. This can be done in person near, but not in, the Gypsy Hill Dog Park; a Virtual Visit can initiate the Meet & Greet but we'll want to meet you and your pup in person. Your dog must be house broken as I work outside the home during the day. During holiday breaks I will make an exception to my “only one sitting assignment” policy to accommodate more Pet Parents if necessary! Outside of the holiday season, I will only take in one sitting assignment at a time. Lilibet has the run of the house while we are at work; she and your fur buddy are welcomed to lounge on the sofas, beds, or dog bed we provide. If your pup has their own home comforts they are welcome to pack an overnight bag for their stay to include favorite toys, treats, beds, and smells from home. During your pups vacation with SleepOvers at Lilibet's Place, you can select from one of Five Excursions during their stay to include: • A trip to Wright's Dairy-Rite, a local landmark for an adventure with a Pup Cup at their historic Curb Service. • An adventure to run free on the farm with other pups and cats while meeting the horses. • Gypsy Hill Dog Park is right around the corner in Staunton; your pup and Lilibet can meet neighborhood friends while under the watchful eye of their chaperone. • Does you fur baby enjoy the local watering hole? Lilibet and I have access to local rivers to enjoy a splash around. • We are also happy to customize an adventure to meet your pup's needs.

About: My dog-sitting history is primarily dogs with a variety of health issues and idiosyncrasies. Does your dog have special needs or odd habits? I've got it covered! Normies welcome too. ;) I work full time during the week, so I'm available weekends if you need me during the day or I can lend my services on weekdays evenings/mornings depending on proximity. I'm religious about monitoring doors and making sure everyone is appropriately harnessed/leashed. I have experience administering topical and oral medications and can maintain time-sensitive care schedules.

About: Hi there! I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals of all kinds and have loved them ever since. Our family dogs have included pointers, labs, beagles, and Frenchies—so I’m comfortable with a wide range of breeds, sizes and personalities. These days, I have a sweet little German Spitz/Pomeranian mix (and 10 backyard chickens!) who keep me on my toes and bring our family so much joy. In addition to dogs and cats I am comfortable caretaking most small mammals (guinea pigs, rabbits, etc) and livestock (chickens, goats, horses, etc). My current schedule is flexible so we can work together to coordinate whatever your pet needs - I can do early morning, late night, midday, etc. Just let me know! I can work with whatever your dog needs: indoor/ outdoor play, crate/ no crate, etc. I will follow their routine, and let you (and them) lead the way.

About: I grew up taking care of our pets, taking care of family/friends pets. I have had a senior dog five years and counting. I have had a German Shepherd two years and counting. I'm currently working part time. So, I have some flexibility and plenty of time to love on your fur baby! My schedule is an usual of Mon, Wed, and Thurs being available after 2PM. Tuesdays I will be available anytime. Weekends will vary but we would love some extra company while we are at home. I have a fenced in backyard where the babes can free run. I have two dogs to keep your fur baby company. We love to go on walks around the neighborhood or at our property. We love to snuggle on the couch. We also have a crate if necessary for any dog size.

About: Hey! My name is Mackenzie I have been pet sitting for about ten years! I love animals! I have taken care of cats and dogs mainly. I do drop ins, house sit, or even walks. I’m currently working full time at McKee.I have the afternoons available all week except Friday,Saturday and Sunday. My mornings are always opened on the weekends! About: I've had dogs my whole life and have experience walking them, giving medications when needed and just being there to be their friend and make them less anxious. Years ago I found a sitter to look after my dog when I go to work and I still use Rover today when I'm working. I'm looking to return the favor to others who need their pets looked after and have the peace of mind to know they are being taken care of in their own environment. I currently work Friday, Saturday and Sunday so most weeks I'm available Monday through Thursday to devote to fitting pets into my schedule. I've always had a soft spot for dogs my whole life and it's fulfilling to me to help others with their pets as people have helped me. As my work schedule changes, I’ll update this to reflect so. I currently reside in Windigrove Apartment Homes so if you reside there, I’m very familiar with everything in the complex and have a lot more flexibility for pets within the same neighborhood. I'm comfortable doing whatever your pet needs. I've good with walking dogs as I have two of my own, administering medications, and just giving them some TLC and attention to ease anxiety.

About: I’ve grown up taking care of various sizes of dogs. I’ve been asked by various people to take care and walk their pets because I’m dependable and flexible. I’m pursuing this solely for being able to be around and care for pets, as I am unable to own my own at the time due to academic obligations. I’m currently a full time graduate student, but my schedule allows me to be flexible in the afternoon and evenings to take care of your pups! Weekends are also more free for me to love and care for these fur babies! I respect the pets space while maintaining the safety of the pet’s and owner’s space. About: I’ve always had at least one dog in my home until my Roscoe passed a little over a year ago. I have experience with all ages…puppies to seniors. I used to be a volunteer dog walker at Shenandoah Valley Animal Services Center, so I have experience with rescue pets as well. I’ve been asked on a number of occasions to pet sit or check in on pets for friends while they are away from home. I see that there is a real need for pet care in our community, so I decided to put my skills and love for animals to work! ****At this time, I do not have any availability for daily dog walking. I am available for pet sitting and drop in visits weekends (Friday through Monday), unless my calendar states otherwise. I currently work part-time (4 nights) third shift in health care. I’m available for dog walking or drop in visits between 10 and 1 Monday through Friday and pet sitting in your home or drop-in visits on weekends (Friday through Monday). If you live in my immediate neighborhood, pet sitting can be arranged for longer periods, as long as it’s ok to leave overnight for work. I like to take frequent walks, depending on the temperature outside and the age and health of your dog. For younger and more active dogs, I enjoy lots of playtime and interaction, or I can chill on the couch with your dog if he/she is older and less active! Your pets miss you terribly when you’re away; I want to make your absence as pleasant for them as possible!
