“Casey was wonderful with Sam and he's a handfull. She survived a power outage and an unexpected guest. Great communication. Hope she can sit with Sam again.”

About: Hi, I’m Katherin. I live in the countryside with my husband, our Great Dane, two cats, and a flock of eight chickens. Animals are a big part of my everyday life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I also enjoy gardening, spending time in nature, and being surrounded by animals—whether I’m at home or helping care for yours. Growing up, pets were always part of my family, and my very first job as a kid was pet sitting for neighbors. Since then, I’ve continued caring for animals of all kinds—my own dogs and cats, as well as those of friends and family. I’ve had the pleasure of looking after pets ranging from tiny Yorkshire Terriers to gentle Great Danes, and I’m experienced in administering medication and providing senior pet care. I currently have a flexible schedule and am available for house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking. I’m not working another job, so I can dedicate plenty of time to your pets—and eventually, I hope to make pet sitting my full-time work! When I’m house sitting, please note that my husband works a 12-hour rotating shift—three days one week and four days the next. On the days he’s working, I’ll need to return home briefly to care for my own pets. During that time, I’d be away from your home for no more than 6 hours. Your pets’ comfort and well-being are always my top priority, and I’ll make sure they’re settled and cared for before stepping out. A few years ago, my husband and I used Rover for the first time, and I know firsthand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pets in someone else's care. Fortunately, it turned out to be a wonderful experience—our sitter kept us updated with messages and photos, and we came home to happy, relaxed pets. That peace of mind was truly priceless. I carry that experience with me every time I care for someone’s pets. I’m committed to providing a safe, trustworthy, and stress-free environment, just like I’d want for my own animals. Regular updates, clear communication, and attentive care are all part of how I help you feel confident and comfortable while you're away.

“Meredith took very good care of our home and our pups. We enjoyed our travel mostly because we had such confidence in her. We look forward to having her again.”

“Lydia was great! Although I requested her help with a very short notice, she was able to check in on my little Kody multiple times for the day. Kody has health challenges that Lydia was able to graciously work with. I am so grateful that Lydia could help. She truly saved the day!”

“Tess was our first experience with Rover and she did not disappoint. Tess is excellent at communicating promptly. Our meet and greet was amazing. She is always on time! Tess spent four days in our home. She was neat, communicative, and cared for our frenchie so well. We will use Tess again and again!”

“Brooke was great! She was very communicative and flexible throughout my travel and my pets loved her!”

“Tyler watched our crew of four in our home where they're all most comfortable. Everyone was in good spirits upon our return and our home was left very tidy. We'll definitely be reaching out for his help again!”

“Serina was very friendly and took excellent care of our cat. She was punctual and followed the care instructions perfectly.”

“He was very communicative, and he took good care of my beagle when I went out of town to see family. Tom is a great pet sitter.”

“Dependable and reliable. Will be using her more often!”

About: Hi, I’m Leanne! Dogs have always had a special place in my heart, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I’ve spent years looking after dogs of all breeds and sizes, from growing up with family pets and fostering for a local rescue to caring for my own beloved Goldendoodle, Remi. She was with me for 10 wonderful years and taught me what it truly means to care for a dog like family. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust completely with your dog- not just for feeding and potty breaks, but for companionship, affection, and consistent care. I treat every dog I look after as if they were my own, offering patience, attention, exercise, and support for any medical needs. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or overnight care in your home where your dog feels most relaxed, I’m here to help keep their routine smooth and stress-free. My schedule is flexible, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your needs. If you have any questions or just want to connect before booking, I’d be happy to chat. I look forward to meeting you and your pup soon. My schedule is flexible and I never leave the dog unattended for long periods of time if I’m dog sitting for extended periods of time. I care for each pet as if they were my own, always staying mindful of their unique needs, sensitivities, and any triggers they may have at home, outside, or around others.

“Good job with my dogs and left my house better than when I left Continuously in touch with me about things that needed to be addressed Great Job”

“This was our second time having Micheal pet sit and house sit our 3 dogs and cat. Micheal took great care of our dogs and went above our expectations caring for our elderly cat.”

“Pam was a great dog sitter! She saved us! At the last minute, a Rover sitter canceled and I contacted Pam and she immediately came over and agreed to watch the dogs. I knew they were in good hands when I met her. She is kind and sent pictures while we were away. Pam we really appreciate you!”

About: My name is Kaiya and I have 4 years of prior veterinary experience. 3 of those years I was a kennel attendant at a vet clinic where I went above and beyond for the patients I cared for. While there I learned how to properly medicate (oral and injectable) both dogs and cats and have much experience in doing so. I loved the patients as if they were my own, often taking them on extra walks, giving them treats, and making play time matter. I knew almost every little detail on personalities of regular patients and was very keen on giving them a great experience. I currently work at UVA hospital 10am-6:30 pm most days. I am off every other Monday, every other Wednesday and every other weekend. I usually get back home at 7:30pm. On days I’m off I will be able to work a bit more! I am able to keep up with multiple animals at once during play times and even walks. I can easily medicate your animals if needed and provide them comfort and entertainment.

“Elise was great at watching my pup! Shes super friendly and was responsive and gave me daily updates. She was also very thoughtful and considerate during her stay. I felt safe knowing that my pup was in good hands while I was away! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter and will use her in the future as well :)”

About: I have many years of pet sitting. I have helped family raise two dogs and two cats. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and overnight sit their pets. I live in Waynesboro and have plenty of free time this summer. I am a college student leaving at the end of August but would love to help until then. I respect the rules of the owners. I try to accommodate to the dogs needs in their own home. I love them as if they were my own

“Hailey survived our 3 dogs and we appreciated her care and attention. She stayed the whole day and everyone seemed content when we returned home. Would definitely ask her again!”

“Brittney and Steve are absolutely fantastic. Before them, I was constantly checking my phone to see if our dog, Gracie, had been checked on. Not once on our trip did I have to worry. Our Gracie also just went through hind limb amputation due to cancer, and their diligence is just amazing. They made sure to take extra time with us to go over her new routine. Gracie can be a bit of a princess, and it was just calming to know that there was someone taking extra time with her. The text updates and pictures made us smile while on vacation. Definitely an amazing choice! If I could give more stars I would!”

Cooper was an excellent choice for our Jax. Cooper stayed in our home while we were out of the country. He was extremely neat and clean; but most of all he took care of Jax as if he were taking care of his own pet. We were very comfortable and relaxed leaving Jax in his care.
