“Samantha was so good with my scardy-cat! I can count on one hand the number of people he’s let approach him on the first meeting and she’s one of them. Would definitely rebook!”

“Sharmily was a wonderful cat sitter! She did a great job letting the cats get used to her and I could tell they warmed up quickly and were happy and having fun from the pictures and videos she sent. She sent so many wonderful pictures every day! I know my cats were in great hands and I won’t hesitate to book with Sharmily next time I go out of town!”

“Sarah was amazing. I've had bad experiences in the past and was nervous about leaving Mittens in the car of others. Sarah was so wonderful from the start. Sent lots of pictures, cleaned the litterbox, and took good care of MIttens. I will always request her when we go out of town.”

“Callie kindly helped us out on short notice, to come keep Prissy company and let her out to use the bathroom, while I was away on a day trip. Prissy seemed comfortable around her and I came home to a happy dog!”

“Megan & Kirby were great and we appreciated them checking in on our cats. They are very prompt in their communications, which is also greatly appreciated.”

“We had to go overseas for 2 weeks and we boarded our cat with Linda. She was very accommodating and had a spare room for our cat so that he would feel safe. Linda's communication was beyond expectations. She kept us up-to-date with how our cat is doing and she also sent pictures and videos. If you need a sitter or boarding, I would definitely recommend Linda and we would definitely board our cat with her again in the future.”

“Thank you so much, Gina! Everyone says Panda did really well while I was out of town, especially given how attached he's become over the pandemic. We hope to catch you the next time around.”

About: I have over 20 years of combined experience caring for both cats and dogs of many different ages, with some specific skills around training reinforcement for dogs. Growing up, I cared for my own cat as well as cats and dogs in the neighborhood. As an adult, I have cared for both cats and dogs and done extended house-sits for clients and friends with cats. I have my own dog, named Billie, who is an 8-year-old german shepherd/lab mix. I love animals of all kinds, and love to get to know animals and help them feel safe, cared for, and joyful/playful. I am an MSW graduate student and working part-time, and have a good deal of flexibility in my schedule. I have availability throughout the day for drop-in visits and walks, and morning/ weekend/ nighttime availability as well. My home has a fenced-in yard and is very safe and comfortable for dogs. I am conscientious and clean when spending time in the homes of clients. I will take great care of your home in addition to your animal companion!

“Rebecca was great! Very understanding and flexible. She really took care of my cat and updated me each visit with pictures and comments. Would absolutely ask her to sit again.”

“I (and my cat) enjoyed working with Tandy. Tandy is very communicative, attentive, and clearly expressed a joy, care, and sensitivity working with animals. Though Rover, Tandy minded my cat and fish every other day over the course of two weeks. Tandy’s Reports were detailed and this is something I further appreciated: she wasn’t afraid to ask questions.”

“I highly recommend Kordell and will be happy to book him in the future. I was in a bit of a bind for Christmas and was so pleased that he was willing to take one more pet on at last minute. He was super friendly and took good care of my cat and house.”

“Dahlya did an amazing job watching my kitty and my house! She sent pictures throughout my trip and was just amazing. I’m so grateful I found her and will absolutely be using her again! 10/10!!”

About: When I was 15, I had my first puppy named Marshmallow, a very handsome grey & white Shih Tzu. Since then, I've had this massive love for pets. I have babysat my friends and family dogs, including a pitbull, a golden doodle, a cat, a labrador, a pomeranian, and a disabled terrier. I will take care of them with lots of love & compassion. I can guarantee great on-time care for them. I'm a full-time student in college looking for a part-time job that smoothly fits into my week. Also, creating my own schedule is something that comes in handy on busy school days. I would take your dog on long & lovely walks, keep them well-fed, work on possibly getting them to new tricks & make sure things stay clean.

About: I have had pets all my life and love spending time with them. Whether your pet is one who needs lots of attention and play time or is a couch potato and cuddler, I'm the sitter for you! If your fur baby is highly active, I can take them for long trail walks or visits to a park to play fetch and if that doesn't sound like your pet, we can do short walks just to get the blood flowing and answer nature's call. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and those with arthritis and mobility issues. I have had great success in helping these dogs improve their comfort through daily, short, walks that we would gradually increased as they regained their strength and energy from this physical activity. I'm currently between jobs so I have plenty of time to care for your little friends. I'm available any day of the week, so reach out ahead of time and let's get you scheduled! :) My apartment complex is fully gated and if your dog wants to run off-leash we have a very large, gated dog park as well! The dog park is so large that it can be sectioned off into two separate parks to accommodate pets that are anxious around, or don't get along well with, other dogs!

“Aliyah was Great! Super responsive went the extra mile beyond just what I asked her to do. Sent pictures and definitely seems like she has a great love for animals. Will definitely book her in the future.”

He was taking care of Honey for a week, and when I came back, she was so happy and the house was clean. He gave her all her pills on time and followed her schedule for walks, breakfast, and dinner. Fairmount Heights cat parents share their Rover experiences
I’ve booked Jessica before and Jessica has always been reliable. This time, Jessica cared for my cat while I was on a multi-month trip to Europe. She consistently checked in via the Rover app and sent about three photos per visit (sometimes up to five). One photo was always of the food bowl, others were of my cat if my cat was out from hiding — and sometimes just of he glowing eyes hiding under the bed! I don’t blame Jessica for that; my cat is always like that with new sitters, or right after I leave. Jessica also watered my plants and brought in packages as requested. Due to a new job promotion and family responsibilities, Jessica had to reduce visits, so some days I had hoped for two but my cat only had one. While I wasn’t thrilled about the long gaps, I understand the circumstances. Jessica has since let me know catsitting is no longer possible, so I’m glad that she stuck with it for as long as she did, and that she communicated clearly when she needed to make a change. Jessica returned my key promptly, and when visits happened, they were dependable. I appreciated the care and updates during my trip — including the now-iconic food-bowl photos — and wish Jessica the very best in the future!

Pambi did a great job taking care of our two kittens. She was communicative, flexible, and great with our pets. She asked clarifying questions as needed and made adjustments to her schedule to accommodate our preferences for the cats feeding times. She shared lots of photos of our cats and spent time playing with and giving attention to them.

Where do I begin? I was strapped for time in finding Ash some accommodations. Taiwo not only responded quickly but went the extra mile throughout the whole process. It’s obvious he cares about the pets he takes care of. Taiwo was very communicative, he followed instructions to a T, and never made me feel like my cat Ash was in bad hands. Thanks T
