About: I’m a professional dog trainer who apprenticed under Kevin Behan founder of Natural Dog Training and author of Your Dog is Your Mirror. I have worked with all kinds of dog, both in terms of breeds and behaviors. I was also the head trainer and a manager of one of the largest boarding facilities in Vermont, Oh My Dog. I have plans for a small kennel and training out of my house long term. Available all week days and possibly weekends with reasonable notice. I have six acres of wooded land that backs up to hundreds of acres of state owned land. I have a fenced in play yard, and two side kennels that get all day shade. Also have space to accommodate crates as well!

I have extensive knowledge regarding care for all species, their diets, their behavior, medical care and more. I work at an animal shelter as well, and I’m currently in school to become a veterinary technician. Animal care is every part of my life and what I want to devote my life to. I’m working at an animal shelter part time for the summer, so I can fit in morning feeds and be there all afternoon and night for your animals! The safety of animals is my top concern. At my current job at the shelter I’m well informed on safety protocols for all animals, especially reactive or scared dogs. I’m very comfortable and knowledgeable in this care. And that goes for any species. I have two cats and two reptiles at home, and I take every precaution for feeding and interacting between all of them to avoid any tension or stress on my animals. About: I’ve cared for dogs for my entire life. Starting as a kid, dogs were my first love as an animal enthusiast. They are so playful, kind, loving, innocent, and unique in every way. I’ve never had a dog that didn’t give me their full loyalty. I believe every animal should be protected and treated with love and respect. My ultimate goal in life is to become a veterinarian and help animals who don’t have someone to care for them. I am currently available weekdays for drop in and walking services. I am also available on weekends based on availability. I also offer bathing services as an add on to any booking! I believe proper animal care is essential. I’ve always wanted to create a doggie hotel, but short of that they are welcome in my home. I’m currently not working outside the home and have ultimate flexibility. I like to have a planned schedule and prefer scheduling stays at least 1 week in advance. I have a safe, fenced in yard and have one senior dog of my own to keep you baby company. I live in a safe walking neighborhood, if you’d like to add that service. I can also adapt my service to your home, especially with drop in service.

I also worked for ‘Just Fur the Weekend’, a pet boarding company where I had the opportunity to foster lovely relationships between the pet owner and pets. Trust, quality care and comfort are very important to me! I am a stay at home mom with two kids under five. We are a pet lovers household. Between the three of us your pet will have a lot of fun playdates and quality time. Routine walks and playdates are essential to maintaining a healthy and active day.
