I’m so excited that my dog sitter, Charish, is finally on Rover.com! My pug, Stormy, absolutely loves Charish! In fact, Stormy gets so excited when we pull up to her townhouse that I can barely hold on to the leash as she rushes to the front door. Charish’s townhouse community has a private park and Stormy loves to go for walks in the park, chase the ducks, and pose for the pictures that Charish sends me during the day!

About: I’d love the opportunity to give your fur baby attention and cuddles while you’re away. My two kiddos love animals and always offer a helping hand in feeding, walking, and brushing the dogs. I work a full time (4d/wk) schedule, but my office is 10 minutes from home. You can count on us to watch, play, love on and be attentive to the needs of your doggo. Checking in on your fur baby and keeping them comfortable and safe are my top priorities. I have a fenced yard and two doggos to keep your baby company. The yard is maintained 2x weekly, and fresh water is kept in multiple locations at all times. Reach out and let me know any questions you may have, to see if I’d be a good fit to sit! I am home every week all day Friday to Sunday. I prefer very well behaved, house trained guests. Dogs that need a place to stay and just lounge when I’m at work are ideal. The back yard is completely fenced. I have several cameras inside and outside to help keep an eye on the dogs too. Dogs get to play in and out most of the day and there is always fresh water daily to drink. My daughter and I like to take the dogs on walks around our neighborhood also. I have a three day weekend away from work every week. I spend my weekends hanging out with the dogs, walking in the neighborhood and letting them lounge inside. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs. I have cameras that monitor both the back door and outdoor area. Pets are treated as part of the family and have complete free range in every room. A big hit is the dog crate full of toys to play with.

Casey did great! My friend and I are camping in Chattanooga and we needed a last minute sitter while it rained so we could do indoor activities and Casey got back with me really quickly. She sent wonderful pictures and her kids were very respectful and kind as well! We will use her again.

I'm certified in Cat & Dog First Aid through the Red Cross and am experienced with senior pets, special-needs pets, and energetic puppies. I'm a Rover Star Sitter and stay home during the day, allowing me to provide plenty of attention, supervision, and care for the pets I welcome into my home. My husband and I share our home with our two school-age boys and our two friendly Mini Australian Shepherds, Baloo and Akela. We have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play, potty breaks, and exercise, and I also offer walks around our quiet neighborhood. I accept a limited number of pets at a time so each guest receives plenty of individualized attention and care. Whether your pet is staying for boarding, daycare, a walk, or a drop-in visit, they'll be treated like family. I'll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I’m home full time with my two young boys, so I’m able to give plenty of love and attention to every pet I care for. From morning potty breaks and walks to evening snuggles, your pup is part of our daily routine. We go on neighborhood walks, enjoy playtime, and keep you updated with photos along the way. Josie was great! She kindly welcomed us to an impromptu meet and greet which was very helpful for our two shih tzus, 0ne is over 15 yo, nearly deaf with vision loss, and his buddy was recently rescued from a breeding mill so he's learning about love, leash, harness, steps, toys, beds, security: everything in dog life. Josie and her service dog Saint share a wonderful energy which we appreciate. Our two pups do best in calm and they responded well to them. During their stay Josie provided exceptional communication with photos and updates which we appreciated even when we were unable to respond. Her love, patience and dedication to dogs are evident. I definitely recommend Josie and Saint and will request them again. Next time I think our little dogs would be more comfortable without a second large dog staying too. I have confidence in Josie managing several at a time, however ours can become unsettled by larger groups of dogs or people. Over time they may be able to feel more secure in them. Now, they are less sure. Josie handled any of their insecurities or fears well. She is very accommodating for their needs all around, including special allergy diets too. We are pleased to have met Josie and look forward to seeing Saint and her again. They are a pleasure.

About: I am a Dog and animal lover and have had at least one as a companion for my entire life, from rambunctious puppies to wise old white faced rescues, Sometimes with multiple dogs and cats all living happily together. I believe that dogs are happiest when they've got plenty of excercize, playtime, love, and cuddles with some treats mixed in. I've found that my calm demeanor puts my pups at ease, and often find dogs I've never met before following me around. I love outdoor activities especially in the area where we live, and would love to share a nice walk or even jog with your pup while you're away. I'm available most mornings and early afternoons during the week, and weekend nights. While my schedule varies week to week, it is flexible if I have enough notice.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Middle Valley on Rover is $31.08 per day (as of June 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

As of June 2026, there are 250 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Middle Valley. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Middle Valley commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 250 sitters in Middle Valley, 85% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
