About: I have taken care of my family dog in many different capacities since I was 6 years old, and I enjoy walking, playing with, or just being active around all different kinds of dogs! I currently work at a middle school, so my summers, weekends, and afternoons are generally free! I also live in a pet-friendly home and a great spot for walks near the downtown New Bedford area. I make sure pets I’m taking care of can get a proper amount of attention and activity, so it feels like less of a scary change and more of a fun playdate.

About: Family, friends, neighbors, pretty much everyone I grew up around have all had pets growing up Ive been surrounded by them and loved them my whole life. Im currently working a part time postion while still in online college courses so I will have plently of time on my hands to cater to your furry friends needs. I have a very big and open yard that is fenced in on all sides as well as my own dog that lives with me.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 15! I’ve had pets all my life growing up though! My neighbors, friends, and family, have relied on me to feed, walk, play, and give cuddles to their pups! I currently am working part time as I just started a new job, so i’ll have plenty of time to play with your pup and get them some exercise! My home has a fenced in dog park that i’m sure your dog would love to run around in and get some energy out! If your dog is better on a leash and loves to walk and sniff around your area I am happy to do that as well! I just want to be able to give your pup a safe and happy visit 😊
“Ixia was absolutely wonderful with our Pointer/Pit mix, Crimson. This was our first time using Rover, and our first time leaving our dog for an extended period of time. (We had to take a trip out of state on short notice.) From the get-go, Ixia was very professional and attentive during our phone consultation - taking notes, checking details, learning the little intricacies of Crimson's routines. Crimson also has a torn ACL, so special care has to be taken during daily activities to ensure the injury doesn't worsen. Ixia was very reliable, responsive, and communicative with us the entire time. She was on time for every visit, sent us pictures of our pup, played with her, spent lots of time in the yard, and even went above and beyond to accommodate some extra drop-ins we hadn't originally planned. We were very impressed and thankful for the loving care that she provided our animals and by her professionalism and communication. 11/10 recommend, and will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future. About: I've been looking after dogs and cats since I was 12! They've ranged from my grandma's shitzu to dog sitting mastiffs! I've even watched reptiles like ball pythons and geckos. I've walked, bathed, fed, watered, and loved them the whole time. I, myself, have 2 bunnies, fish, and a ball python. All together the most dogs I've ever watched at the same time was 28! It was 5 adults dogs, one puppy the equivalent to a toddler, and 22 puppies! I am willing to go to the cape and islands for house sitting! At the moment I'm hoping that pet care will become a full-time job. At the moment I am able to do any day and any time. I, sadly, do not have a cute puppy or kitty to play with your fur baby, however it just means they get more love from me! I can lift a 75 pound dog if needed and have the resources to contain one if necessary.

I am currently a student full-time so I am only available during holiday breaks and in the summer. I take care of my own pets and sisters so I am only available thursday, friday, and on weekends. I can keep to the schedule you give me for your companion! I can give baths, play, feeding, and go on walks. I take lots of pictures and will update you on how the walk/sitting is going frequently. This is our first time using Rover and we have to say there isn't a better option for our precious Lacey. We chose Barbara for her experience. After reading her profile and reviews we thought she'd be a perfect candidate. Lacey can be affectionate but often times she's to independent to bother. With the meet and greet she seemed comfortable and even allowed Barbara to pet her which usually takes some time but it was a sign. Everything went so well. We felt at ease knowing Lacey was comfortable with Barbara. We loved all of her pictures and we could tell that Lacey happy with Barbara's company. We're so thankful everything went as well as it did and we truly appreciate how caring and patient Barbara was with her. We would definitely recommend Barbara she really exceeded out expectations.
Abigail was wonderful at taking care of our two cats while we were away! It was our first time using a cat-sitter and we were a bit anxious about it at first, but as soon as we met Abigail we were put at ease. She is extremely professional and communicative, and she definitely has a calming presence among shy animals. Our cats don't usually like interacting with strangers, but I could tell from the photos and videos of her visits that they were showed much more curiosity for than fear of Abigail. She followed all of our instructions perfectly and was always willing to go above and beyond, including a last-minute extra visit when I wanted to make sure there was still enough litter in their box. We will feel much more comfortable traveling in the future knowing that our cats will be well taken care of by Abigail!
Kristie and Dominick are great! I mainly communicated with Kristie and she was very professional and conscientious! She has a love for animals for sure and will take care of your furry friend very well. My poor pup Kobe got sick ans she helped out asked questions and was very helpful and kind to both Kobe and myself. I highly recommend Kristie and Dominick.
