About: Hi there! My name is Sammy and I currently work in Finance remotely. I've always had a love for all animals - dogs, cats, birds, frogs, fish... the list goes on. I have not had the opportunity to have my own dogs/cats in my home, but I've taken care of family & friends' pets for many years and have always given their fur babies such amazing care and attention. I am extremely detail-oriented and follow directions precisely. I'm currently working remotely so I have plenty of time to provide attentive care as often as needed during the week with lots of time for fun! Safety is my #1 priority and I will always contact you if I'm unsure of next steps. Pets are family so they will be given my full care and attention.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 15! I’ve had pets all my life growing up though! My neighbors, friends, and family, have relied on me to feed, walk, play, and give cuddles to their pups! I currently am working part time as I just started a new job, so i’ll have plenty of time to play with your pup and get them some exercise! My home has a fenced in dog park that i’m sure your dog would love to run around in and get some energy out! “Ixia was absolutely wonderful with our Pointer/Pit mix, Crimson. This was our first time using Rover, and our first time leaving our dog for an extended period of time. (We had to take a trip out of state on short notice.) From the get-go, Ixia was very professional and attentive during our phone consultation - taking notes, checking details, learning the little intricacies of Crimson's routines. Crimson also has a torn ACL, so special care has to be taken during daily activities to ensure the injury doesn't worsen. Ixia was very reliable, responsive, and communicative with us the entire time. She was on time for every visit, sent us pictures of our pup, played with her, spent lots of time in the yard, and even went above and beyond to accommodate some extra drop-ins we hadn't originally planned. About: I've been looking after dogs and cats since I was 12! They've ranged from my grandma's shitzu to dog sitting mastiffs! I've even watched reptiles like ball pythons and geckos. I've walked, bathed, fed, watered, and loved them the whole time. I, myself, have 2 bunnies, fish, and a ball python. All together the most dogs I've ever watched at the same time was 28! It was 5 adults dogs, one puppy the equivalent to a toddler, and 22 puppies! I am willing to go to the cape and islands for house sitting! At the moment I'm hoping that pet care will become a full-time job. At the moment I am able to do any day and any time. I, sadly, do not have a cute puppy or kitty to play with your fur baby, however it just means they get more love from me! I can lift a 75 pound dog if needed and have the resources to contain one if necessary.

Abigail was wonderful at taking care of our two cats while we were away! It was our first time using a cat-sitter and we were a bit anxious about it at first, but as soon as we met Abigail we were put at ease. She is extremely professional and communicative, and she definitely has a calming presence among shy animals. Our cats don't usually like interacting with strangers, but I could tell from the photos and videos of her visits that they were showed much more curiosity for than fear of Abigail. She followed all of our instructions perfectly and was always willing to go above and beyond, including a last-minute extra visit when I wanted to make sure there was still enough litter in their box. We will feel much more comfortable traveling in the future knowing that our cats will be well taken care of by Abigail!
