“Could not have asked for a better dog walker! She was so friendly and caring. My dog was so anxious and upset when I was leaving she almost made me reconsider taking the trip, but Amanda was just the friend she needed! She was always on time, gave me detailed updates and even took my dog on extra long walks and played fetch with her on days she was especially anxious and hyper. I would definitely recommend Amanda to take care of your pets!”

“Booked Erica again as they are a SUPERSTAR when taking care of my pup and cat. Always great photos, detailed descriptions, healthy happy pets when im home, and a nice well kept home.”

About: I have not gone a year of my life to this point without having a family dog and now my own. I have pet-sat many times for people in the neighborhood I grew up in, as well as friends and family. I love dogs and cannot wait to meet yours! I am extremely flexible, and can make any date or time work. I find it best to check in on pets early in the morning, and then later in the afternoon or evening before the sun goes down. I make sure that any pet I look after is treated with love and compassion. I understand how stressful it can be to have someone they do not know interact with them, and my patience and experience with many dogs goes a long way. I also previously worked as a Veterinarian's Assistant, and learned how to care for and make a diverse array of dogs feel safe and comfortable.

“Andrew was the best cat sitter! We’re always a little nervous going out of town leaving our elderly cat at home. Andrew is a great communicator, and we felt our cat was in good hands. We would not hesitate to rebook with Andrew the next time we need a cat sitter.”

About: ✅ Lived Experience: With five cats of my own, plus fostering, rescuing, and TNR work, I get cats—their quirks, body language, and unique needs. ✅ Routine-Oriented Care: I prioritize your pet’s comfort by sticking to their familiar schedule (play, meals, litter) to minimize stress. ✅ Home Advocate: I treat your space and time with respect (no surprise travel disruptions!) and give pets the same patience and attention as my own. I work from home and rarely travel (unless planned for way in advance). Perfect for last-minute requests or regular visits. Your pet's care fits my schedule! I believe pets are happiest in their own familiar environment, so I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible—whether it’s feeding times, play, or cuddles. In your home, I treat your pets with the same love and attention as I do my own five cats, ensuring they feel safe and content while you’re away. Respect for your space and their comfort is always my top priority.

About: I have had dogs almost my entire life, and I know I can take care of them, play with them, and bond with them. I usually have no problem with dogs, no matter how aggressive or aloof they are. I also know how hard it can be to leave your pet at home alone, and I hope I can help you feel assured they will be taken care of. I work remotely and on my own schedule, so I can take care of your pet just as easily as I take care of my own! Whenever or wherever you need me, I'm there! I will take good care of your pet by listening to your instructions and paying attention to the particular need of the dog or cat. Each animal is different, and has unique needs.

About: I have had dogs all my life for the most part and 3 cats. Also I baby sit a lot so I’m used to handling multiple animals/babies at a time I work from home so it’s not hard for me to devote a lot of energy towards taking care of pets. I have a dog and we go in walks while im taking work calls. Perfect work life balance My dog is always with me as previously mentioned . Wherever I go she goes. She’s very loved and cared for and of course fed well

“Ingrid took great care of our kitty! I felt very comfortable with Ingrid caring for kitty after our meet. During the visit Ingrid was communicative, followed instructions with our kitty’s medicine, and followed her lead when kitty showed signs of being stressed in our absence and scared of a new visitor. Ingrid responded to kitty’s messages by adapting her approach and still taking care of her needs while we were away. She also cleaned up some unexpected messes.”

“Desire was awesome. I got pics from every drop-in which included playing, feeding time and occasional adorable looks around the corner. She also managed to make a friend w Fen, which is no small task.”

About: I’ve always loved animals and all the ups and downs that come with caring for one. No dog is too big or too small! (Cats, too!) I have 8 years of experience dog sitting (walks, meals, hosting sleepovers!) and 13 precious years with my own Golden, Milo, although he’s back home in CT. I also love cats and cat sitting - I like to think I understand them quite well :) Friends and family have frequently relied on me over the years to take care of their pets while they’re away or simply busy — I’m always happy to help out! I’m currently a student at Northwestern, and I’ll be working remotely this summer. During the school year, I’ll have mornings, afternoons, and nights free depending on my classes, and I’ll be super available these first and last couple weeks of summer. I am comfortable with caring for all kinds of pets, no matter how anxious, jumpy, or independent they may be. I am patient, loving, and responsible, and I’ll always leave your space as clean as I found it.

About: My family and I have owned dogs ever since I was a little girl so I feel confident in my pet care abilities. I have taken care of puppies as well as senior dogs and from as little as 5-80 lbs! I am going to school part time so I will be free Monday-Friday either very early morning or after 5pm. Free on weekends pretty much all day! I am easily able to crate dogs as well as make sure they are in a safe environment at home as well as in public areas.

About: Going out of town? Your dog will love our friendly Evanston home located near Lake Michigan beaches and forest preserves. We provide weekly adventures such as trips to the dog beach and pooch park, walks in the neighborhood, playtime in our fenced in backyard, and lots of love and attention. Why I love dog sitting I have had dogs in my family since I was born. I grew up in rural areas in the Midwest, and we always had at least one family dog of varying breeds. When I became an adult, I got a black lab puppy from my sister, who had rescued its mother while it was pregnant. I became very interested in dog training, reading any books I could get my hands on and applying their techniques. My lab, Asia, became the gentlest, most well-trained dog most people had ever met. We lost her at age 13; since then, we have always had a lab as a family pet and we have taken care of countless other breeds. About my yard We have a fenced back yard--it is a 6 foot fence around the perimeter with a 5 foot chain link fence between our yard and our friendly neighbor's yard. There is an open area where the dogs can roam freely, a concrete patio, and a vegetable garden that lines one side of the house between our yard and our neighbor's yard. Dogs are supervised by an adult when they are in our yard--we do not leave them unattended. The majority of your dog's outdoor time will be spent on walks and outings. I am a teacher, so I have weekends and holidays off. In addition, I have 2 young adults and a teen living with me who often help by cuddling and playing with our clients. We do not crate our clients unless upon request. Dogs are free to lounge on beds or furniture. No dog likes to be left behind, but we will do our very best to ease your pup's stress. I have over many years of pet boarding and training experience.

About: I grew up with 2 dogs and 2 cats which naturally gave me experience taking care of pets and loving their presence. Hoping I can bring some good energy of vibes to your pets a well. I’m available mornings and evenings on weekends and available all day on the weekends. I’m interested in doing drop in sittings but open to anything :) I grew up with 2 dogs and 2 cats. I enjoy taking my dogs out for walks or just running through whatever open space we find. I have experience looking after dogs and making sure they’re taken good care of and exercised.

“Love, love, love Quyn! I have 3 cats and 2 of them are horribly shy yet Quyn was able to find and photograph them. She has an incredible amount of patience and you can tell she loves animals. HIGHLY recommend and you better believe we will use her again (if she'll have us)!”

About: I am a life long animal lover and care taker. I have worked in the animal care industry for 20 years. I have cared for cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, birds and hamsters. I currently have two senior cats. I work at a vet office and have extensive pet care experience. I work full time but have a variable schedule which gives me some time early morning, mid day and evenings during the week. I am free on the weekends. I will care for pets in the client's home. I am looking to care for pets in the Evanston and Wilmette, Illinois area but am willing to travel up to 5 miles.

“Clare is fantastic. Unbelievably professional and a great communicator. Would recommend 100% She worked well with all the details, medications & extra needs. Sent a ton of pictures and I felt like my pups was totally safe in her hands !”

“I booked Michael to help me watch my 5-month old Samoyed who has BIG fomo energy so I could walk my older dog and spend some 1:1 time with him. Michael is on-time, flexible, and dedicated to making Meda have a great time while I'm gone. I love the photos he sends at the end of the visit, and having him watch her gives me confidence to leave the house.”

“Savannah took excellent care of my rather aloof cat. I felt that she was very attentive and all my cats needs and wants and thoughtfully filled them all. Overall very happy and thankful for her work.”

About: I have taken care of all types of dogs of all ages since as early as I can remember. I understand how important it is for dogs to get enough exercise and outside time by going on walks and always make sure there is fresh water and they were fed. I believe dogs are family members and I know how truly special dogs are to their owners and I would love to help you with yours! I am an incoming graduate student at Northwestern University who's classes start in September, so I have a lot of free time this summer! I currently don't have any other time commitments so I am able to make whatever you need work! I understand safety is important and I am able to take any precautions that are necessary. I will always do whatever you do for your current routine to make sure your dog is safe and comfortable, I can put your dog in its crate if need be, use a leash in the backyard for potty breaks, etc.

About: I cared for my Yorkshire Terrier, Polly, in my family home, and we had a close bond, from daily walks to playful moments. Now that I’ve moved to the US and my husband, a PhD student at Northwestern U, has an allergy, we can’t have a dog, but I really miss being around pets and would love to spend time with yours. With my experience, I prioritize small dogs. While I don’t have an experience living with cats, I’m eager to learn and will do my best to give them all my care. I’m excited to walk, play, and give your pet the attention they deserve while you’re away! I currently work full time Monday through Friday, so I am available on weekends. But I can also help on a Friday night if you contact me in advance. I’m unable to care for pets at my place due to restrictions and my husband’s allergy, but I would be happy to provide pet care at your location. I’m fully prepared to follow any specific instructions regarding your pet's care, feeding, grooming, and playtime routine. I respect each pet's boundaries and approach them with patience and understanding. For walks, I always prefer keeping them on a leash to ensure their safety.

“I couldn’t feel more confident to recommend Gabriella as a pet sitter/dog walker. She is a true animal lover, always so caring with our dog, understands what he needs and is very responsible in making sure he has everything in the way we ask for. She also has a great intuition in how she communicates with animals and sometimes will perceive what our dog needs better than anybody else in the family. Any pet will be in very loving and responsible care with Gabriella.”

“Michelle‘s love for animals is so abundantly clear with how she takes care of everyone’s animals. I’m incredibly sad that she’s now out of state, but anyone would be lucky to have their pets under her care!”

Kristin H.

“Kristin's attentiveness to and love for animals is wonderfully coupled with her know-how and strong intuition around animals. She instills peace where there is anxiety. She provides knowledge when there is ignorance. She offers practical advice when asked. Her strongest testimonial is embodied in her own dog, who is well-trained, plays well with other dogs, is attentive to Kristin and is fun to be around. In addition to being utterly trustworthy when it comes to taking care of my dog, Kristin is a fantastic and interesting person.”

Stephanie K.
“Stephanie is the most caring and patient pet sitter we've had the good fortune of knowing. We love her so much that when we got our most recent pup after the death of our first two (six years prior!) Stephanie was the first person we thought of when we needed a sitter. She was so amazing with our first two and we were so excited that she was still able to take on our new baby. She is one of the only people that I actually feel comfortable leaving my old lady Pekingese with even with her high maintenance walks, elaborate feedings and extensive medications. She is basically deaf and only has one eye, but even with all of her special needs we're truly able to take vacations and relax.”
