About: In addition to growing up with dogs and a cat, I've provided drop-in and overnight care for family, friends, professors, and other clients since high school. I have a calm and kind personality that I find sets even anxious or shy pets at ease. I am just getting started on Rover in the Philly area after pet-sitting in Colorado, and I look forward to meeting your furry friends! About: I am looking forward to hosting dogs in my house. I have a 4 year old dog I recently adopted. He enjoys having other dogs come to visit! I'm a teacher so I am home weeknights and weekends to care for and play with your dogs. Your dog can sleep in my room or can be crated if that is preferred. I am also excited to explore my new neighborhood with dog walks in the evenings. I have recently moved to a new home that has a small front yard. There are trails nearby that I can use for dog walks.
About: I’ve loved and been around animals since childhood. Growing up, my family had both cats and dogs. As an adult, I now have 2 cats of my own. I’m very passionate about human-animal connection. About: I’ve had all kinds of animals since I was a small child. We started off with cats, eventually owned dogs. I also have experience with birds, ferrets, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I even held a tarantula once! As an adult, I’ve also had cats, and dogs, and have experience house breaking puppies, and caring for new mama cats and their kittens. I feel animals are usually very drawn to me. I have years of providing comfort, engagement, nourishment, and administering medication for different animals. As a pre-teen, I once had a very sick cat that almost died, and I slowly brought her back to health. This, in turn, created an unbreakable bond between us. At the moment I’m currently going to school part time and taking a few classes, so my schedule is open, and I’m very flexible. Just let me know what your needs are. About: I've been walking dogs of all sizes for about 7 years now in different ways and I have to say I've never met I dog I haven't become immediate best friends with. I love to take the dogs on their favorite trails, and play if they still have energy after. They will always have water provided and a treat at the end of each visit, with lots of pets and snuggles in between. With my previous experience I feel comfortable with any size dog, and can handle different behaviors as well. Though every visit can seem repetitive, if something unexpected occurs I know the best routes to handle any situation that may come up. I think it's important to think on your feet, even if you only have two. ;) I’m currently working part time as a dog walker and working towards finishing my undergrad degree in college.
